Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to estimate the determinant factors of the profitabilityon Indonesian banking industry. Factors used are bank's internal factors and external factors.Internal factors include the variables inherent in the bank, while external factors includeindustry-specific variables and macroeconomic variables. The data used is the entire bankingin the period 2004-2011. The analytical method used is panel data regression model withpooled least squares method, the fixed effect method and random effect method. The resultsshowed that determinant factors of banking profitability in Indonesian can be explained byfixed effect model, and variable capital, loans, bank size, market structure, and inflationaffect the profitability of banks in Indonesia, but the growth of per capita income has noeffect.Keywords: Profitability, banking, Indonesia, panel regressionAbstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengestimasi faktor penentu profitabilitas diindustri perbankan di Indonesia. Faktor Faktor yang digunakan adalah faktor internal daneksternal Bank. Faktor internal meliputi variabel yang melekat di bank, sedangkan variabelfaktor eksternal meliputi variabel makroekonomi dan spesifik industri. Data tersebutdigunakan untuk seluruh perbankan pada periode 2004-2011. Metode analisis yangdigunakan adalah model regresi data panel dengan metode pooled kuadrat terkecil, metodeefek tetap, dan metode efek random. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa faktor penentuprofitabilitas perbankan di Indonesia yang dapat dijelaskan oleh model fixed effect, danvariabel yang memengaruhi profitabilitas adalah permodalan, pinjaman, ukuran bank,struktur pasar, dan inflasi, namun pertumbuhan pendapatan per kapita tidak memilikipengaruh.Kata Kunci: Profitabilitas, perbankan, Indonesia, regresi panel

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan konsumen PT. Hawaii Holiday Hotel. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memprioritaskan kepuasan konsumen adalah Metode SERVQUAL (Service Quality) dengan menggunakan lima dimensi yaitu tangible, realibility, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) yang didalamnnya menggunakan Diagram Kartesius untuk mengetahui peringkat kepentingan dan kinerja. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang menggunakan rumus Slovin, pengambilan sampel dengan metode simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pelanggan hotel merasa puas terhadap kinerja pelayanan yang diberikan PT. Hawaii Holiday Hotel. Dengan metode IPA bahwa tidak terdapat atribut yang harus diperbaiki oleh PT. Hawai Holiday Hotel Pekanbaru. Kemudian ada 8 atribut yang kualitas pelayanannya telah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan konsumen, terdapat 9 atribut yang tidak memiliki pengaruh apa-apa oleh konsumen, dan ada 3 atribut kualitas pelayanan yang ada atau tidaknya pelayanan tersebut konsumen merasa puas terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan PT. Hawaii Holiday Hotel Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to known the comparison of performance between Men and Women employees on Dinas Pertanian Pangan dan Perikanan Tanjungpinang City. This type of study using descriptive quantitative methods with comparative’s technique. Data collection technique using observation, questionaire, and library study. The population of this study is 75 people. The sample of this study is 60 people that constructed by 30 men and 30 women. The result of independent t-test, Sig. (2- tailed) values is 0,383 > 0,05 its mean there is no significant different between men and women employee performance. The conclusions of this study is different performance between employee man and woman would be seen based on average performance value of men is 82,5 and the average performance value of women is 80,7. The difference of these averages performance’s value is close by 1,8 point so its seems both of them is no significant different about the performance. Different performance between employee men and women reconfirmed in the result of independent t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0,383 > 0,05 its mean there is no significant different between men and women employee performance or H2 was accepted and H1 was declined.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Oscar Mas Cabang Pekanbaru. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pada bagian administrasi, marketing dan product support (suku cadang dan perbaikan) yaitu 36 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara persama-sama pendidikan dan pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Perusahaan perlu membuat perencanaan SDM mengenai pendidikan dan pelatihan yang akan diikuti pegawai yang akan berpengaruh terhadap kinerjanya.

Abstract

Dalam dunia kerja termasuk pendidikan, komitmen seseorang terhadap organisasi/perusahaan seringkali menjadi isu yang sangat penting. Aspek selanjutnya adalah kepercayaan pada manajemen, selain faktor komitmen, faktor lain peningkatan job insecurity yang dialami karyawan cenderung mengarah pada peningkatan turnover intention. ABC School Pekanbaru memiliki masalah produktivitas kegiatan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Hal ini terlihat dari tingginya tingkat pergantian dosen dari tahun ke tahun, berkisar antara 50-60% pertahun. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan job insecurity terhadap turnover intention dosen. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 33 orang dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara sensus. Data dari penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis adalah dengan uji F dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa komitmen organisasional dan job insecurity berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention dosen di Sekolah ABC Pekanbaru. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention. Pengaruh terbesar seorang anggota fakultas memutuskan untuk keluar lebih dipengaruhi oleh komitmen organisasi dan hanya kemudian karena perasaan tidak aman atas status pekerjaannya. In the world of work including education, one's commitment to the organization/company is often a very important issue. The next aspect is the confidence in management, in addition to the commitment factor, other factors increasing job insecurity experienced by employees tend to lead to increased turnover intention. ABC School Pekanbaru has productivity problems inseparable activities. It is seen from the high level of faculty turnover is from year to year, ranging between 50-60% annually. The research objective was to analyze the extent to which the influence of organizational commitment and job insecurity on the faculty turnover intentions. The study population numbered 33 people and sampling conducted by the census. The data from this study are primary data using questionnaires as research instruments. Techniques analysis used in this research is a descriptive statistic and inferential statistic analysis. Hypothesis testing is to test the F and t-test. The results of this study concluded that organizational commitment and job insecurity affect faculty turnover intentions in ABC School Pekanbaru. Organizational commitment negatively affects turnover intention. The biggest influence of a faculty member decides to intend out more influenced by organizational commitment and only then because of feelings of insecurity over his job status.

Abstract

Indonesia's foreign debt has increased dramatically in the last decade both government and private debt, and has taken up a portion of Indonesia's state budget (APBN). The amount of principal payments and debt interest is almost double the Indonesian development budget. For this reason, an effort is needed to pay it off, that is, every country needs foreign exchange reserves as a means of foreign payment, export activities will increase the country's foreign exchange reserves, which in turn can strengthen economic fundamentals. One of the government's efforts to obtain foreign exchange from abroad is by making loans to other countries (foreign debt) and exporting the results of natural resources and non-natural resources abroad. From the results of this foreign exchange can be used to increase state development funds. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: Multiple linear regression analysis can be used to predict Indonesia's foreign debt by analyzing foreign exchange reserves against Indonesia's export value; There is a large (significant) partial effect between foreign exchange reserves and foreign debt; There is no significant (partial) significant effect between the value of exports on foreign debt.

Abstract

Training and motivation can be maintained and can have an effect on improving employee performance, but in reality the training and motivation of employees is still not able to improve the performance of the employees of the Environment and Forestry Department of Riau Province. This is still a lack of both technical and non-technical training intended for employees who can improve performance and motivation at work. This study aims to determine the effect of training and motivation on improving the performance of employees of the Environment and Forestry Office of Riau Province. This type of quantitative research with a sample of 87 people.The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, validity and reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, linearity test, with multiple linear regression approach using SPSS 19 IBM. The results of the study partially show that there is a positive and significant effect between training on employee performance. There is a positive and significant effect between motivation on employee performance. Simultaneously there is a positive and significant effect between training and motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

The research was conducted on PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Cabang Pekanbaru that aimed to figure out the impact of discipline and motivation on performance of employees, either simultaneously or partially. The population of the research was all of the employees of the PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Cabang Pekanbaru. Total sample of 80 respondents on PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Cabang Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used is simple random side and multiple linier regression analysis method by using SPSS Version 20. Simultaneous regression (F test) showed that the independent variables studied (work discipline and work motivation) together (simultaneously) have a significant influence on the dependent variable (performance of employee). Partial test (t test) shows, the independent variables have a significant effect on performance of employees. There is a high contribution of the variable discipline and motivation on the performance of employees in PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Cabang Pekanbaru, the illustrated by the coefficient of determination obtained. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of job satisfaction and workload on the performance of employees of PT. State Savings Bank Syariah Branch Office Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The object of this research is all employees of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Syariah Pekanbaru. The research location was conducted at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Syariah Pekanbaru. The population in this study were employees of PT Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Pekanbaru. The sample taken in this study were 47 respondents. The sampling technique in this study is the census method technique with data analysis using the SPSS version 20 program using validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression, partial test (t test), simultaneous test (F test), coefficient of determination (R2) . Multiple regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis of this study. The results of the study stated that the variables of workload and job satisfaction had a significant effect simultaneously on employee performance. And it can be concluded that the most dominant workload variable affects employee performance. The value of the coefficient of determination (R 2) is 0.876. This means that the variables of job satisfaction and workload simultaneously affect employee performance variables by 87.6%.

Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is an important target in human resource management, because it is directly or indirectly affects the productivity of labor. Job satisfaction can be made if the variables that influence it, including work motivation, leadership and leadership can be properly applied and accepted by all employees within an organization.This study aimed to determine the effect of leadership, compensation and motivation on job satisfaction of employees at PT. XYZ. The number of samples used is 188 employees. Data were analyzed through structural equation models. Although the model is estimated less fit but estimation results show that leadership, compensation, and motivation have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction of employees. Motivation is a variable that has the highest effect on job satisfaction of employees.Keywords: Leadership, Compensation, Motivation, Job satisfaction
