Abstract

Workload is one of the critical factors in achieving employee performance. A high workload can sometimes make it difficult for employees to perform well, ultimately affecting the company's overall performance. Motivation and leadership style also play a role in employee performance. This study aims to examine the effect of workload and work motivation on employee performance at PT Bisma Dharma Kencana. The population in this study includes harvesting employees and supervisors at the company, with a sample of 95 respondents selected using the convenience sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS 22. The hypothesis test results show that workload has a partially positive effect on employee performance, as does work motivation, which also has a partially positive effect. A higher workload, accompanied by strong motivation and effective leadership, can lead to better employee performance. Additionally, a high workload is often followed by increased salaries or bonuses, making it reasonable for performance to improve.

Abstract

Investors always aim for high returns on their investments. Proper analysis is crucial as it affects the returns they receive. This analysis not only evaluates a company's prospects but also helps in building a portfolio. Many experts suggest not putting all money into one type of investment. When creating a portfolio, both return and risk must be considered. Recently, many people have shared simple portfolio-building strategies to help young investors with limited investment knowledge. This study examines whether portfolio returns based on influencer investment strategies are higher than the IDX Composite (IHSG) returns. Using a sample of 910 companies from 2021 and 2022, the researcher filtered fundamental data and identified 23 eligible companies in 2021 and 25 in 2022. After forming the portfolio, an independent sample t-test was conducted. The results show that the portfolio's return is higher than the IHSG return.

Abstract

The increasing investment education campaigns conducted by PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) and the availability of Investment Galleries in universities openup great opportunities for students to invest in the capital market. Previous studies have examined the topics of investment knowledge, risk perception, and investment interest. However, previous research still has some shortcomings that need to be improved and developed. These shortcomings include sample size that does not represent the population, the absence of control variables in the research, and some technical shortcomings in the methodology. This study aims to analyze the effect of investment knowledge on the investment interest in stocks of young investors in Kotim with risk perception as an intervening variable. This research uses a quantitative method with cross-section data on 100 young investors at Darwan Ali University. The results of the study show that investment knowledge has a significant positive effect on risk perception and stock investment interest. However, the availability of capital does not show a significant effect on investment interest. These findings highlight the importance of investment education for students and the contribution of risk perception in increasing stock investment interest. This research provides a reference for the development of investment education strategies in the future.

Meanwhile, lifestyle reflects an individual's consumption habits and spending patterns. This research adopts a quantitative approach, focusing on young workers in Sampit. The sample is selected using purposive sampling, and data analysis is conducted through multiple linear regression. The results reveal that financial literacy does not significantly impact how young workers in Sampit manage their finances. However, lifestyle plays a crucial role, significantly influencing financial management behaviors. These findings suggest that consumption habits and spending patterns have a more substantial effect on young workers' financial conditions than their financial knowledge.

Abstract

Environmental issues that arise from various aspects of the environment make companies face challenges to be able to demonstrate responsibility for their operations. This responsibility can be seen through the sustainability report that has been required by the government, and is an important indicator to see the extent to which the company maintains the company's reputation for disclosure of its environmental aspects. Therefore, the study aims to determine the effect of corporate reputation on environmental disclosure by looking at the disclosure of the company's sustainability report. This research was conducted on 75 companies listed on the IDX with the period 2020-2022 which were selected through purposive sampling technique using data analysis techniques in the form of panel regression. The results showed that corporate reputation has no significant effect on environmental disclosure. This finding finds that the level of reputation owned by the company does not directly encourage companies to increase transparency or disclosure related to environmental issues. One of the reasons is that investors have not considered the company's environmental disclosure as an important aspect before deciding to invest. Even so, companies with a large company size have a better ability to make disclosures.
