Abstract

This research study about of the added ascorbic acid with different concentrate on fish abon rancidity which storage on day-1 and day-15, the parameters is chemist and organoleptic. Contribute from this researchs are to know the optimally ascorbic acid concentrate on make fish abon. This research use 4 (four) treatments are: no added ascorbic acid, added ascorbic acid 1%, 2% and 3%. Result from this research are added ascorbic acid with the different concentrate no significant to water basis but to lipid, rancidity and organoleptic significant and very significant inter treatment, which treatment A is the best during day-1 storage, and treatment D is the best during day-15storage.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain scientific data related to the effect of the moon age to R.argyrotaenia fish catches in the river Barito South Kalimantan. The method used in the study is the experimental fishing by fishing operations when the full moon and deadmoon, and to confirm the significance of the effect of different fish catches by using analysis of variance (Anova). The research results showed that the catches at the time ofthe operation in the full moon of 20.2 + 0.8 kg (68% of total catches) while catches in the dead moon of operation time of 9.5 + 0.2 kg (32 % of total catches). Results of Anova analysis showed that the value of F group (12.286) > F group at the level of error 5%(4.60), indicating that different groups have real impact on the amount of fish catches or reject H0. Value of F replications (1.20) < F replications at the level of error 5 % (2.48), indicating that the different treatment did not significantly affect the number of fishcatches or accept H0. The conclusion of this study is the number of fish caught during fishing operations in the full moon more than fishing operations at the time in the deadmoon.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the technology performance of the snakehead crackers processing business in Banjarmasin City after participating in KKMB empowerment program; to compare the incomes of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City before and after participating in KKMB empowerment program; to analyze the factors affecting the incomes of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City after participating in KKMB empowerment program; to analyze the market opportunities of the snakehead crackers processed by program participants; and to identify the marketing channels of the snakehead crackers processed by program participants. This research was carried out in Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, with theobjects of the snakehead crackers processors participating in KKMB empowerment program. The data that was collected was the data that directly originated from results of observation in the location of the research, and the other supporting data, was related tothe object of the research. Results of the research showed that the technology performance of the snakehead crackers processing business had grown well in Banjarmasin City after participating in KKMB empowerment program, characterised by the increasing quantity and quality ofproduction. Incomes of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City after participating in program had increased, showed by the incomes increasing an average of189.79% from before participating in program. Income of the snakehead crackers processors in Banjarmasin City was significantly affected by the processed fish volume, the amount ofthe loan capital and business scale, which the regression coefficient of the each variable was positive and valid on test level of 99%. The average difference between the supply and demand of 4,65 tons/year indicated that the snakehead crackers marketing in Banjarmasin City still had a large market opportunity to keep organised. The marketing channels of the snakehead crackers processed by program participants in Banjarmasin City were consist of three pattern of the marketing channels, i.e. producers to consumers directly, producers through the collectors the retailers, and producers through the retailers before distributed to consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pollution levels of nitrate (N) and phosphate (P) in South Kalimantan Several subzone based method Pollution Index (Kep_MENLH /115/2003). The results were obtained relationship (r) between the variables Quality Standards(Y1) and variable (X) or Phosphate and Nitrate = 0.792. Calculation of the value of R2-determinant obtained yield was 0.672. This means that 67.2% factor Water QualityStandard (Y) is influenced by factors Phosphate and Nitrate, while the remaining 33.8%is influenced by other variables that can not be explained in the equation. The ratio between the parameter P and N (P = 0.577 N = 0,062 = 9.30), is between 7 to 12. It means that the variable Phosphate and Nitrate is not a limiting factor for contamination.Calculation results of the pollution index pareameter P and N obtained a value of 9.30,still meet quality standards for some sub-sub-basins (Riam Kanan, Tabanio, Naiyan River, River Satui, Kintap River, and the River Sebamban).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the switching time from natural food to artificial food with the addition of mix enzyme in baung larval rearing. The results showed that the survival rate of baung larvae had the highest score in treatment E (natural feed Artemia salina aged 3 days to 7 days followed by artificial feed in the form of pasta until age 30 days), did not differ with treatment A. Treatment A (Natural Food Artemia salina was given at the age of 3 days to 8 days and then followed by artificial food (shrimp flour +mix enzyme) from the age of 9 days to 15 days artificial feeding was continued until theage of 30 days) showed the highest absolute growth was 0.62 grams and the value of relative growth rate of 14.25 grams did not differ with B, C and E treatments. The highest Individual weight, protein content and mix enzyme activity on all measurement of baung larvae found in treatment A. Water quality of maintenance media of eel was the temperature 27,33oC, pH 7,86, dissolve oxygen 4,76 mg/l and ammonia 0,93 mg/l.

Abstract

Fish landing base (PPI) is a container that can support development and the development of a better fishery. Accordence with the increasing number of fishing vessels that enter the territory Kotabaru, either the ships from itself or the ships that come from the outside area. Making the existence of the PPI Saijaan Kotabaru a medium which accommodates fishery activities to make a direct relevance relationship of up river and downstream activities. This research was conducted: identifying facilities, condition sand function of the PPI Saijaan Kotabaru; Analyzing changes in the income of entrepreneur fishery before and after the PPI Saijaan Kotabaru in District Stagen Kotabaru; Formulating a strategy of economic development of the PPI Saijaan Kotabaruas an area of fisheries. Analysis Technique of the research uses qualitative and quantitative method with descriptive approach. The results obtained that the basic, functional and additional facilities of the PPI Saijaan Kotabaru have been fulfilled by 90 % and have not been fulfilled by 10 % thatneed to be developed. Condition and function facilities of the PPI Saijaan Kotabaru, is only 90 % facilities are function optimally and 10 % is not function optimally.Wilcoxon test results in Statistics Test, shows that value of Wilcoxon test pvalue is 0.003 (< 0.05), then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is avery significant difference from the increased income of entrepreneur fishery afterthe construction of the PPI Saijaan Kotabaru as well. The results of the value to external factors (EFAS) is = 2.85, while for internal factors (IFAS) is = 2.55. So the value of EFAS >IFAS value, then a qualitative activity and capacity of existing facilities of the PPI Saijaan Kotabaru still very likely to be developed.
