Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic which began to spread in Indonesia at the end of 2019 until now has had an impact on the community, especially Bekasi Rawalumbu, mostly affected economically and socially. Overcoming the economic impact of the epidemic and social restrictions from the government, the community is making efforts to overcome the economic crisis by using information technology on the market. To find out the role of information technology in overcoming the economic impact on society, the method of gap analysis, importance-performance analysis, field observations, and surveys are validated and the reliability of the affected community is used. The role of this technology can be enhanced and empowered in overcoming the economic crisis caused by the epidemic.

Abstract

Production planning increases every month, with the increase in planing it is necessary to improve quality. PT Voksel Electric Tbk is a manufacturing industry engaged in the production of power cables, telecommunications, and fiber optics. The company tries to control the quality of its products to maintain quality in accordance with the company's vision, which is to become a world-class cable solution provider in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine how to control the quality of Twisted Cable at PT Voksel electric Tbk using the seven tools and QCC methods. The increased production planning does not match the actual production . This is due to the level of production failure. In this study, the method used in quality control is seven tools that are used to analyze the causes of production failure rates. By using the PDCA cycle (plan, do, check, action) and by using seven tools as a tool to determine the cause and effect of the failure of the production process. The causes obtained are from gram dust, from crust on visual insulation, and from powder materials. By controlling the quality using the seven tools method, it can reduce production process time, production costs, and increase production capacity from 700 km to 800 km. an increase in production capacity of 100 km provides a benefit of Rp. 470,000,000,00,-

Abstract

Scholarships are generally a provision of fees for education for students who are still actively attending lectures at a tertiary institution. With the scholarship so that it can help students to finance their needs during college. With the backward chaining method can facilitate the campus bureaucrats in determining students who are entitled to receive scholarships. Backward Chainning is a model in reverse of hypotheses, a potential or conclusion that must be proven by facts that support the hypothesis. The backward chaining model in receiving scholarships takes some data from existing variable criteria such as active lecture certificates, student cumulative achievement indexes, attaching TOEFL certificate, identity card, and curriculum vitae. Next make a decision tree from the data variables that exist and finally is implemented. The results of this study have an accuracy of 95%, which can be recommended to get the scholarship and this method can facilitate the determination of scholarship acceptance. The backward chaining method is very effective and accurate in determining DIPA scholarship recipients with an accuracy rate of 95%, making it easier for the North Sumatra state Islamic university community to select students who are eligible to receive.

Abstract

The Covid 19 epidemic which lasted more than one year resulted in the issuance of instructions from the ministry of home affairs to implement the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) and the enforcement of the 5 M health protocol, which included wearing masks, maintaining distance and checking body temperature. However, there are still people who do not follow the discipline. For that we need supervision that can monitor community activities. Research that has been carried out by previous researchers can replace human supervision which is limited by the amount and time. From previous research, there are also obstacles from making the application. This study aims to find a reasech gap from previous research, so that it can make research that can continue previous research and improve the weaknesses of previous research.

Abstract

Information technology in universities is already a primary necessity. Universities are required to provide optimal services to students, one of which is scheduling lecture rooms. Research on the scheduling of lecture classrooms at The Muhammadiyah Bekasi Business Institute is still done manually, a factor related to the manual system is the lack of efficiency and precision in its work so that it is not uncommon to share the intersected rooms. Software development method using Software Development Life Cycle Waterfall Model. Field direct observation data collection techniques, system development tools using UML (Unified Modeling Language), programming languages using PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Jquery, server-side scripting using MySQL databases. The result of this research is an information system of scheduling lecture rooms that is able to manage to schedule, especially in the division of lecture space and facilitate academic personnel in the preparation of schedules, more flexible and efficient, harmony and sustainable.
