Formosa Journal of Sustainable Research (FJSR) is an open access and peer-reviewed journal, published by Formosa Publisher. FJSR aims to be a dissemination platform for research result from multidisciplinary research that covers the wide spectrum of research field such as education, including teaching and learning process, social condition, science educaton, management, engginering, chemistry education, experimental demonstration in class/classroom experiments, teaching model and media, teacher/student/scientist perspectives, etc. FJSR publishes articles monthly . <![CDATA[The success of an educational institution is expected to be able to produce quality graduates, of course there is a need for a leadership strategy for the head of the madrasa/school as a leader or professional leader. So this study aims to determine the effect of the leadership strategy carried out by the head of the madrasa and the role of the committee on improving the quality management of facilities and infrastructure in Cilegon City State Madrasah Tsawiyah. The method used in this study is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The reachable population is the teacher council at Madrasah Tsawiyah Negeri Se-Cilegon City 115 people. Based on the results of the study Based on the results of the multiple regression test, it can be seen that there is a significant influence between the leadership strategy of the madrasah head and the role of the madrasah committee on improving the quality management of facilities and infrastructure at the Cilegon City State Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This can be seen from the results That it is known that the values between variables X1 and X2 to Y are known that F count 62.329 > F table 3.294 at a significance level of 5%. In conclusion, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because of the influence between variables X1, Variable X2 and Variable Y. Then the results of the quantitative analysis in this study obtained the value r_(y1.2 =) 0.862 and R2 0.744 (74.4%) so that it affects quality improvement of facilities and infrastructure, as well as changes in the leadership strategy of the madrasa head and the role of the committee implemented in schools]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on tax management which is proxied by a cash effective tax rate. The corporate governance mechanisms used are institutional ownership, audit committees, independent commissioners, and external auditors. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange after the imposition of a flat tax rate of 25%, in period 2015 to 2018. This study uses purposive sampling criteria so that the samples obtained are 48 companies. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. The data analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership has a significant positive effect on tax management; the audit committee has no significant negative effect on tax management; independent commissioners have insignificant negative effect on tax management, and external auditors have significant positive effect on tax management]]>

<![CDATA[Dysmenorrhea can have an impact that affects women's activities, this problem bothers at least 50% of women of reproductive age and 60-85% in their teens. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of abdominal stretching in reducing menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) in women of childbearing age. The research design used was the Pre-Experiment with One Group Pretest Posttest design. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique. The samples used in this study totaled 32 WUS samples of Kelanting home industry workers and filter and border craftsmen in East Lampung Regency which were conducted in 2019. <![CDATA[The formation of morals is very important for every human being, starting from the age of the child, because it is the root in fortifying children when dealing with the environment. The formation of this character in students can be done one of them through learning, because in addition to making students master competence, it is also packaged to instill good values, and make it a good behavior. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive and inductive methods. Descriptive method is a discussion method that seeks to describe a symptom, event, and event that occurred during the study. The results of this study are that the scientific approach and PAKEM are very appropriate to be implemented in PAI learning, especially to make it easier for students to understand material that is abstract in nature. This thesis concludes that there are three benefits of implementing a scientific approach and PAKEM, namely: 1) to become an interesting and concrete learning model, 2) to familiarize students with good attitudes and behavior, and 3) to involve students actively. This conclusion supports the theory of the scientific approach and PAKEM which aims not only to increase intellectual reasoning and the ability to solve problems independently, but also to form commendable morals as a result of developing spiritual and social attitudes]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to develop teaching materials in the subject of aqidah morals through an educative communication model at Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum Anyer. Research using R&D development research. This method is used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products. Based on the research and discussion that has been described, the researcher can conclude that the development of teaching materials in the Aqidah Akhlak subject through an educative communication model on ethics in behavior has been successfully developed through research procedures based on the R&D development model and referring to research steps according to Borg and Gall which is simplified into five stages, namely: research and data collection, product design (determining and collecting materials, preparation and development of teaching materials, determining images and written text, merging, interactive aspects and finishing), design validation, media and materials validated by their respective experts, product revisions and finally product trials. Then for the effectiveness of the animation shown in the final stage, namely product trials by means of students filling out questionnaires and tests on Google forms, developing teaching materials in the Akidah Akhlak subject through this educative communication model gets scores from students with an average of 6 in the category " good", while the effectiveness of this communication learning model can be shown from the results of small-scale and large-scale tests with small-scale tests getting an average score of 80 in the good category. While the large-scale test got an average score of 89.21 in the good category]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is first, to determine the increase in student motivation with the use of problem-based learning models. Second, to determine the increase in student learning outcomes with the use of problem-based learning models. Third, to determine the effectiveness of using problem-based learning models in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. In this study, the research method used is a quantitative research method with an experimental approach. The quantitative method is a scientific/scientific method because it meets scientific principles, namely concrete/empirical, objective, measurable, rational, and systematic. The results showed that to find out the increase in student learning motivation, the researcher collected data by distributing questionnaires to students at the beginning of learning before being given treatment using a problem-based learning model, this questionnaire aims to determine students' initial motivation, then after being given treatment using a problem-based learning model problem, for the second time the researcher distributed the same questionnaire to find out the students' final motivation. From the results of the initial and final questionnaires, an increase of 33.5% was obtained. The effectiveness of using problem-based learning models is obtained from the results of observations made during learning activities, from the results of these observations it is known that many students are involved or active in learning]]>

In Christian life, spiritual renewal is a priority for church leaders. However, spiritual renewal is certainly inseparable from various challenges and problems. <![CDATA[Improving the quality of educational institutions is inseparable from the development of the quality of teachers and education personnel. In facing the challenges of various advances, school principals must have the right and effective strategy in developing the professionalism of teachers and education staff who are able to produce quality students and generations of the nation. This study aims to reveal the principal's leadership strategy in developing the professionalism of teachers and education personnel which is applied at SMP Negeri 3 Ciruas and SMP Negeri 3 Pontang, with a sub focus that includes: (1) Professionalism of teachers and education personnel, (2) Efforts made school principals regarding their duties and functions, (3) Principal leadership strategies in developing the professionalism of teachers and education staff. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. The conclusions of this study are: 1).
