Abstract

The main problem faced by the partners is not yet agood understanding of the concept of action research (CAR),the Partners cannot distinguish between types of classroomaction research with other research, and partners do notunderstand the procedures for the preparation of classroomaction research report. Therefore, in order to overcome theproblems mentioned above, the proposed solution is to conducttraining and guidance to partners on research, class actions,particularly in the preparation of classroom action researchreport. The training is expected to produce a systematic formatof writing/preparation of reports Classroom Action Research(CAR), and teachers who have been trained (partners) have theskills/understanding in preparing classroom action researchreport.

Abstract

The program activities of the KKN PPM aims toenhance students' awareness and empathy towards theproblems facing the village community service learning, sothat changes the behavior of the students, and the target group.In addition to empowering the women of fishermen VillagesPancana and Alumpangeng Sub Tanete Rilau, Barru Regencyin the framework of the achievement of the targets have beenformulated. Specific targets to be achieved is the increase inproduction and quality of processing fish that used to offer itonly drained, but through KKN PPM is, people are invited tofish processing into other products such as meatballs andshredded fish, brain-brain-based foods as well as other fish.With a better processing and hygienic and attractive packaging,strengthening the institutional system a group of marine fish,the fisherman's increased income and crafters community dueto the production of processed fish products increased, the fishof the sea be qualified and have high competitiveness. As wellas the formation of the villages of Pancana and Alumpangengas a model village for the production of sea fish products thatare valued economically. The strategy used is theempowerment of the target group approach to PRE(Partisipatory Rural Appraisal) method, with the education,training, mentoring, demplot and equipped with the techniqueslearned while working (learning by doing). Plan activitiesinclude: demplot, training and mentoring are first carried outsocialization through counseling. Training materials include:(1) Production technology and application of naturalpreservative sea fish, (2) technology of the manufacture ofprocessed sea fish food (the brain-the brain, Nuggets,meatballs and shredded fish), (3) hygienic food manufacturingtechnology and packaging that menarikdengan energy/firewood, (4) Labelisasi PIRT marine fish food products thatare attractive and hygienic, (5) the application of the healthykitchen practices, (6) sea fish food manufacturing technologyand improved nutrition, (7) institutional strengthening of thegroup, (8) the strengthening of network marketing.

Abstract

Community empowerment activities on the la-laeisland of Makassar is to train and improve community skills inprocessing fishery products and utilizing household waste tobe used as trinkets. Partner problems are Teenage women orfishermen who do not have a permanent job who every dayonly works to help his parents at home and various otherunproductive activities and fishermen mothers who have thetalent to create new jobs such as the processing of fisheryproducts that are abundant on this island. The solution offeredis training and mentoring related to the manufacture oftrinkets from household waste and abundant fisheryprocessing on lae-Lae Island. Based on the results of thisactivity, then teenage women become skilled in makingtrinkets from household waste and can be judged as a sourceof livelihood or used for their own purposes. Besides that, thefishermen mothers also skilled in processing fishery productswhich can be used for own needs and sold as a source ofincome.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved through IbM activitiesare teacher: understanding of the principles and technical ofClassroom Action Research (CAR), steps of CAR activity,understand the format and components of the CAR proposaland skillfully preparing to conduct and to write CAR proposaland to produce CAR proposal draft. The method used toachieve these objectives are : to present about principles and toconduct CAR, and to write main essential CAR proposal draftby Servant team, practice of CAR conducting and writingCAR proposal draft of worksheet by participants, and topresent of CAR product by participants, and observe andinterviews to participants conducted after and while thisactivity. The activity participants are teachers of StateSecondary School of number 4 Pinrang regency City whichamounts 14 persons. The results obtained after the IbMactivities carried out are (1) The participants (teachers fromSDN of number 4 Pinrang regency) has been understood aboutthe principles and technical of Classroom Action Research(CAR), steps of CAR activity, understand the format andcomponents of the CAR proposal draft and skillfully preparingto conduct and to write CAR proposal, and to produce CARproposal draft and (2) The participants is very enthusiast for tojoin the CAR workshop activity and to give positive responseof the IbM activity.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) isimplemented in 2018 in Tidung village by applying the resultsof research in 2017. The aim is to provide training to thecommunity to make bluders cake, mabel and pudding usinglontar (palmyra fruit or talak) as the main ingredients with theintention that the community got the skills to be independentto make home industry products to increase family income.Lontar is available on their neighbourhood but it is wasted inits season and the price is very cheap because the communitydoes not know its benefit and nutritional content. Therefore,after being examined, the results must be trained in thecommunity partnership program to disseminate its use to befavored by the community and increase the selling value andeconomic value of lontar. Previous research results indicatethat the cake is very popular because it is worthy of beingapplied in this PKM. The training went very well, the resultswere also very maximum and the products were liked bywomen of Family Welfare Empowerment as the trainees in thiPKM. They are enthusiastic in making talak pudding, talakbluder, and mabel talak. The training involved 31 women ofFamily Welfare Empowerment which was originally plannedfor 20 people. After the training, they were given theopportunity to work in groups to make products. After theresults were evaluated it turned out that they had tried to makeit themselves. The obstacles found were the need for capitalassistance and tools for entrepreneurship. This still needs helpfrom the local government or investors who want to help thecommunity to do entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The aims of community activities through trainingand outreach the KKN-PPM program, to increase society'sknowledge and skills in making natural preservative from theleaves of cloves. The method of implementation of trainingactivities and outreach is done through the methods oftechnology transfer, demplot (pilot project), andaccompaniment with the approach of the Partisipatory RuralAppraisal (PRA). The main target groups, i.e. the coconutpalm sugar Crafters and on Crafters Group of palm sugar.Being among the target group, i.e. the Group of farmers/women farmers, driving of PKK village, and teenage dropouts.Then the evaluation of the results of training and outreach,carried out on going evaluation and post evaluation. Theresults of the activities of the community shows that,implementation of training and outreach and mentoring in themanufacture of natural preservative from clove leaf throughthe KKN-PPM program, has been able to increase theknowledge and skills of participants training in the processingof natural resources available in district Pujananting. Thesuccess of training and outreach through the KKN-PPMprograms, looks also can encourage the growth of creativeideas and innovative and entrepreneurial souls trainee andvillagers during the KKN PPM program were execution.
