Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interrelation of Regional Own Revenue, General allocation fund, Specific Allocation Fund, Revenue Sharing Fund, and Financing Surplus toward Capital Expenditure Budget in Southheast Aceh’s regency. The data that used in this research was from secondary data of 2008-2017 year. Data was collected from BPKD southeast Aceh. The model of research analysis used Multivariate Vector Autoregression (VAR) with Impluse Reseponse Function (IRF) and Forecast Error Varian Decomposition (FEVD). The result of this research used the model of Multivariate Vector Autoregression’s analysis which showed that there was no interrelation (causality) between Regional Own Revenue toward Capital Expenditure and both of them were influenced each other.. The result of this research showed that there was contribution in each variable to its variable and others variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of exchange rates and textile production on textile imports in Indonesia. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia from 2009 quarter 1 to 2018 quarter 4. The data analysis method used in this study is the Multiple Linear Regression analysis method. The results show that the exchange rate variables partially has a positive and significant effect on the volume of textile imports in Indonesia. Partially, production has a positive and significant effect on the volume of textile imports in Indonesia. Simultaneously,  the exchange rate and textile production have a positive and significant effect on the volume of imports of Indonesian textiles. The magnitude of the effect of exchange rates and production on textile imports is 0.627 (62.7%), while those influenced by other variables outside this model are 0.373 (37.3%).Keywords: textile imports, exchange rates, production

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of world oil prices and interest rates on the economic growth of Indonesia. The data used in this study is time-series data during1987-2017 obtained from Indonesia. (Energy Information Administration), Bank Indonesia, and the Central Bureau of Statistics. Data analysis methods use multiple linear regression and Vector Autoregression (VAR) models. The results of the study show that partially the world oil prices and interest rates have a significant and negative effect on the economic growth of Indonesia. Simultaneously, world oil prices and interest rates have a significant and positive effect on the economic growth of Indonesia. Furthermore, the results of testing the VAR analysis model indicate that world oil prices have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of Indonesia, and interest rates have a positive and insignificant effect on the economic growth of Indonesia. It recommends that the government and all stakeholders must collaborate to reduce or eliminate the influence of shocks to global oil prices domestically and a concrete step that needs to be sought is to normalize the habits that used to be wasteful of fuel to save fuel.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves by proving cointegration (long-run relationships) and causality (reciprocal relationships). The data used is time series data during the period January 2014-December 2018. The analytical method used in this study is cointegration test and granger causality with the approach of auto regressive lag (ARDL). The cointegration test results using the Bound test test indicated that between the variables of foreign exchange reserves, exports, the exchange rate, the BI Rate and inflation had a stability relationship of movements in the long run. While the results of the causality test showed that there is a one-way relationship between foreign exchange reserves and exports, and so there was a unidirectional relationship between foreign exchange reserves and the exchange rate and the same relationship between the BI Rate and foreign exchange reserves. Keywords: foreign exchange reserves, exports, exchange rates, BI Rate, inflation.

Abstract

This study  analyzed  the effect of  local revenue, excess budget financing, general allocation funds, and revenue-sharing funds in regencies/cities in Aceh province on capital expenditures in regencies/cities in Aceh province. This study used quantitative data with a panel data approach, consisting of time-series data for five years from2015  to  2019  and  cross-sectional  data  from  23  regencies/cities,  as  well  as  115observations of data. The analytical method used was panel data regression with the selected Fixed Effect Model. The results partially indicated that local revenue did not influence capital expenditures in 23 regencies/cities in Aceh province, the remaining budget for financing and profit-sharing funds have a positive and significant effect on capital expenditures for regencies/cities in Aceh province, while general allocation funds positively and  significantly influenced  Capital  Expenditures  in  23 regencies/cities  in  Aceh  province.  Simultaneously,  local  revenue,  the  remaining budget for financing, General allocation funds, and profit-sharing funds have a positive and significant impact on capital expenditures in 23 districts/cities of Aceh Province.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of inflation and gross domestic product (GDP) on the Amount of Money Supply (JUB) in Indonesia. The data used in the study are time-series data from 1987 to 2017 obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Trade, and Bank Indonesia. The method of data analysis uses the ARDL (Auto-Regressive Distributed Lagged) approach. The results showal that all variables are stationary at the first difference and are co-integrated in the long run. The model stability test results showal that the model used partially stable in the short-term, inflation had a positive and significant effect on the Amount of Money Supply in Indonesia and the Gross Domestic Product had a positive and significant effect on the Money Supply in Indonesia. In the long run showad that inflation ad negative and insignificant effect on economic growth in Indonesia, had Gross Domestic Product hade a positive and insignificant effect on the Amount of Money Supply in Indonesia.
