Abstract

This research aims at testing and analyzing the influence of organizational culture and work stress on employees’ performance at PT. SerdangJaya Perdana. The researcher took the object of research from PT. Serdang Jaya Perdana. Employees’ performance can be interpreted as the ability of employees to do their jobs. The performance of an employee is what distinguishes each employee who has different levels of importance in carrying out their duties. Management can measure the company's performance on each employee. Improving employee performance cannot just happen, but there are factors affected such as organizational culture and work stress. The population used is 97 people by taking samples using the Slovin formula and 30 employees to test the validity taken entirely from the rest of the population in the company. The research method used is quantitative, quantitative descriptive research type. Methods of collecting data was done by having interviews, questionnaires and studies. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, determination coefficient and simultaneous testing (F-Test) with Fcount> Ftable (52,684> 3,11) and partially (t-Test) with values ​​for organizational culture variable t count>ttable number (5,216> 1,99045) and work stress(2.694> 1,99045). The results of the study prove that organizational culture and simultaneous work stress and partial positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Serdang Jaya Perdana

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between: (1) the role of the teacher with the learning achievement of the implementation of electronic circuits, (2) the motivation to learn with the achievement of learning the application of electronic circuits (3) the role of the teacher and learning motivation towards the learning achievement of the implementation of electronic circuits from class XI students of SMK Negeri 4 Medan 2017/2018 Academic Year. The population used in this study were students of class XI Audio Video Engineering Program 2017/2018 Academic Year which amounted to 76 respondents and all of them were used as research samples.Data was collected by questionnaire techniques for teacher role variables and student learning motivation variables and value documents for the subjects of the application of electronic circuits. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation and multiple correlation analysis.From the results of the analysis it can be concluded: (1) there is a significant and positive relationship between the role of the teacher and student achievement in the subject of the application of electronic circuits (r 0.465 = medium), (2) there is a significant and positive relationship between student motivation and achievement learning on the subject of the application of electronic circuits (r 0.337 = low), (3) there is a significant and positive relationship between the role of the teacher and the learning motivation of students with learning achievement in the subject of the application of electronic circuits (r 0.515 = medium).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and understand the factors that led to gambling crime in the Regional Police of North Sumatra, the efforts of the North Sumatra Regional Police in overcoming gambling in the North Sumatra Regional Police, the obstacles experienced by the North Sumatra Regional Police overcoming gambling crime in the Regional Police of North Sumatra.The results of the research show that the factors of the occurrence of criminal gambling are factors in the individual (internal) which include the level of education, religious factors, psychology. Factors originating from outside the individual (external) Economic factors, social factors, family environment. The efforts of the police in overcoming the crime of gambling in the Regional Police of North Sumatra include: Preventive prevention efforts, Rehabilitation efforts, Refresive mitigation efforts.

Abstract

This research aims at testing and analyzing the influence of supervision and competence on employees’ performance at PT. Invilon Sagita Medan. The researcher took the object of research from PT. Invilon Sagita Medan in which the object selection is caused by a decrease in employee performance. Supervision is a control action carried out by the leader in paying attention to every employee's work in the company. Supervision is carried out as an effort of leaders and companies in order to regulate and supervise so that all employees work according to established rules and targets. Competence becomes a benchmark for the ability of employees to carry out their duties according to their position. Employees are required to have good competence in order to be able to carry out their duties properly and correctly. The ability of employees who have competencies will also be seen from solving problems in work. The population used was 240 people with a sample of 150 people and 30 people to test the validity and reliability of using the Slovin formula. The research method used is a quantitative approach, a type of quantitative descriptive research. Methods of collecting data was done by having interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, simultaneous coefficient of determination and testing (F-Test) with a value of Fcount> Ftable (67,955> 3,910) and partially (Test-t) with the value for the tcount variable> ttable (4,684> 1,976) and competence (6,396> 1,976). The results showed that supervision and competence simultaneously and partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Serdang Jaya Perdana
