Abstract

This report investigates the integration of interactive educational games aimed at enhancing English language learning in elementary level. Conducted at SDN Ciheuleut 2 in Bogor City, the study focused on three games—"Shout Out Loud," "Guess the Animal," and "Stack the Blocks"—specifically designed for vocabulary and language development. Employing pre-test/post-test assessments, the study aimed to uncover their impact on student proficiency levels. The results showed an increase in students’ test scores following the integration of these games, showing a 20.65% rise in overall test scores. Classroom observations also noted heightened student enthusiasm during class activities. These findings highlight the positive relationship between educational games and students’ language development, establishing an engaging learning atmosphere crucial for young learners' language acquisition.

Abstract

This research aims to develop PKK creativity in increasing MSME sales turnover in Medan Sunggal. In Increasing PKK Creativity in improving MSMEs in the Medan Sunggal PKK environment to support government programs in creating entrepreneurs and improving their quality. Globally, this training aims to increase entrepreneurial abilities and improve the quality of management and financial governance for micro, small and medium enterprises. (MSMEs) can operate independently. Planning, implementation, and evaluation are the three stages that go through to complete this work. Provided two meetings which were attended by 25 participants from MSME actors in the environment. PKK Medan is single. The results and discussion of this activity teach MSME players about entrepreneurship education, effective marketing strategies, and simple financial management. They also learn about the various financing schemes they can use.

Abstract

In Malaysia, home-based businesses emerge as one of the most enticing paths for entrepreneurial endeavors. This paper attempts to identify the barriers faced by urban women from the B40 demographic in the Selangor, Malaysia. A group of 25 participants in a one-day pastry-making workshop was conveniently chosen to partake in this study. A post-event survey was conducted to gain deeper insights into the hurdles these participants faced in their efforts to establish home-based pastry businesses. Only two participants managed to launch their pastry businesses following the workshop. The barriers highlighted by most participants revolved around initial capital to initiate their home-based businesses, a shortage of suitable equipment and utensils, and the unsuitability of their homes for running food-related business activities.

Abstract

The special service for people with disabilities in HKBP Jatiasih is a form of attention to motivate parents to remain enthusiastic in accompanying their children even though they have disabilities. HKBP Jatiasih, especially the Diakonia Team, want to make this activity has an impact on other churches paying attention to congregations with disabilities. Disabled worship services are held once every 3 months, provides a service of words delivered by the Pastor and then prepares blessings in the form of money and food. This activity has been carried out for more than 2 years, which is included in the program for the Year of Health, the Year of Professionalism in Service Organizers, and the Year of Inclusive Ecumenical 2024.

Abstract

Watershed areas (watersheds are divided into upstream, middle and downstream areas. Upstream watersheds are characterized as conservation areas, have a higher drainage density and are areas with slopes of more than 15%, lower watersheds are characterized by areas with small slopes (less than 8% ) to flat, in some places it is a flood or puddle area. Water management is determined by irrigation water structures. The middle watershed is a transition area between upstream and downstream. (Asdak, 1995). main, (1) vegetative method, (2) Mechanical method, (3) Chemical method (Arsyad, 2010). In watershed spatial planning, vegetative methods and mechanical methods are recommended There are several methods that can be used to prevent landslides in watershed areas, both upstream, middle and downstream, but what is highly recommended is the Vegetative method and cultivating these plants

Abstract

Marketing planning is essential for a company. Effective marketing planning helps MSMEs to be able to target the appropriate market share and have a sustainable competitive advantage related to increasing sales turnover. However, implementing appropriate marketing strategies is still an obstacle for MSMEs. In this case, MSMEs who are members of Genpro DIY Kedu apparently still have problems regarding how to arrange effective marketing plans. Therefore, this community service program aims to provide technical understanding and training in marketing planning for MSMEs. After participating in this program, MSMEs are expected to be able to develop an effective marketing plan to increase sales and their competitiveness.
