Abstract

All kinds of halal products in circulation that in Indonesia are widely used by consumers, one of them is cosmetics. It can be seen from several phenomena as well as the increasingly critical society in assessing the halalness of products that have been consumed, the growth of Islamic culture, and the rapid use of Muslim fashion on the development of modern-oriented lifestyles and refers to Islamic values. Respondents that can be obtained by the researchers by doing the main data retrieval amounted to 112 respondents who are all women. Age range of respondents from 18 to 24 years. Based on the results of research and analysis that has been done about consumer satisfaction Wardah cosmetic products at Malikussaleh University students, it is concluded that the scale of customer satisfaction developed in this study can be considered to have a good psychometric standard with alpha (α = 0.656) and the number of valid items as many as 15 items. It appears that the scale of customer satisfaction has constructive validity and internal consistency which is also good.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper to look at how and why misdiagnosis happen among the psychiatrists or psychologists in Malaysia and Indonesia today and what made them changed their earlier diagnosis.  This study also aims to find out if  these Muslim mental health providers have incorporated  any spiritual or  Islamic dimension(s) into  their treatment or psychotherapy  since Malaysia and Indonesia have quite a number of Muslim psychiatrists and psychologists. The result showed that both of the Malaysian psychiatrists that we interviewed mentioned bipolar disorder as the disorder that they can easily misdiagnose.

Abstract

Each human born with different personality characteristic. When everone is born with the same personality traits, then we do not need other people, because they consider themselves perfect. But not to dependent on other. The creation of a adependen personality measuring instrument is expected to help investigate examinations or interventions related to personality dependen on a study. The subject of research is 60 people that all of them consist of students University Malikussaleh 10% student semester 1, 30% student semester 3, 60% student semester 5, based on psychometric tests conduced through internal consistency and construct valisity test. The scale of personality dependent on having high validity and reliability. This scale can measure on consistent construction consistently, can distinguish individuals belonging to high or low dependent personality traits. The dimensions of the dependent personality are incable of making decisions and sensitive to small things. With very good psychometric standards, this scale can be used in a variety of local studies to measure dependent personality.

Abstract

Gratitude in the western perspective is an expression of gratitude by the individual for all the good things he receives, be they objects, a happy life, can handle the difficulties experienced. The notion of gratitude is not far from the perspective of gratitude in Islam. Gratitude in the perspective of Islam is an activity that Muslims do as a form of gratitude for all the blessings given by God, such as spiritual favors, physical favor, favors of faith and, also favors of Islam. But among the gratitude of the western perspective with gratitude in the perspective of Islam there are some differences. Where gratitude in the western perspective is defined as a form of gratitude for kindness and reflection of the good through feeling, sharing, and a positive attitude to help others and reciprocate the good of others. While gratitude in the perspective of Islam, more reflect on the value of goodness received by the granting of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.

Abstract

The purpose of this journal is to analyze the similarities and differences between the terms narcissistic in the study of western psychology and ujub in the perspective of Islam. In western psychology there are views or theories about narcissistic. Narcissistic is an exaggerated admiration and awe of self, and an extreme need for the attention and worship of others against him. This has a resemblance to ujub according to Islamic perspective, where ujub is an exaggerated assumption or self-esteem, assuming that he has many good deeds and possesses more gifts than others and forgets his creator. Although there are some semblance of narcissistic and ujub, on the other side there are also differences of views according to their respective flow about both concepts.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand oneself, to empathize with the feelings of others and to regulate the emotions simultaneously in improving one's life. Emotions are circumstances that show people to live and also to manage emotionally needed intelligence. This study aims to see how high the emotional intelligence of Unimal psychology students also in order to establish a scale of intelligence is valid, reliable, and have good aitem. A total of 73 respondents, consisting of 6 men (8.2%), and 67 women (91.78%). The age range of respondents is 17-25 years old. Based on the result of this experiment, it is known that the reliability of emotional intelligence using Alpha Cronbach's technique is α = 0,389 aitem is not reliable because alpha value less than 5 (five). This scale is unreliable, in other words the results of the emotional intelligence measurement experiment can not measure one of the same constructs. The result of correlation between total aitem whose value is below 0.23 is eliminated because it has passed the minimum value of reliable aitem. Thus, the failure of this scale is not good, then the scale of this intelligence can not be used to measure emotional intelligence in the context of research and psychological intervention.
