Abstract

Diet is the amount of food consumed by a person or organization, and the way a healthy diet does not mean reducing food portion only. But the meaning of the diet can be described as a set pattern of our own food. Various ways of healthy diet foods can be developed that is appropriate, then, directly or indirectly, to obtain and provide sufficient energy for our bodies even though we can gain the benefits of the diet is that we run with our weight loss. Many people do not know how to calculate how many calories they consume every day, and sometimes the calories consumed exceed the calories they need per day. This research discusses how people can manage a healthy diet based on daily calorie intake. Here will discuss a wide variety of diets such as weight loss, and diet for people with diabetes, cholesterol, gout, stroke, and hepatitis. This research help user regulating daily caloric intake according to the weight and height and also help user to calculate and keep the absence of excessive caloric intake per day.

Abstract

Recently, people use physical mouse to control the computer. Virtual Vpaint can be a new innovation to change the physical mouse to virtual mouse, then the users can minimize the cost of hardware consumption and damages. Having virtual mouse, users can control the computer only through webcam to do a lot of things such as drawing, editing images, mouse control, and others. Virtual VPaint application will discuss the development of Computer Vision for drawing an object in Windows form application by using virtual mouse. This application can perform common image editor such as blurring, gray scaling, and negating images. Users can control mouse pointer through the webcam by using object mover which has specific color, then can draw an object on canvas by using virtual pencil.

Abstract

— In daily life, almost everyone uses smart phone with different types of operating system and one of them is android. People intention to steal someone else smartphone were very high. This is one of the problems for all Android smart phone users.  While it was happening, they could not do anything to get it back. The objective of this research is to create an application that will help android smart phone users to get information about their phone. The information will be obtained by the user which is about the location of their android smart phones.  Another feature, it can lock android smart phone while the SIM changed by other person. Only one registered SIM card that can access the android smart phone.  Last thing, their phone can be checked by the trigger alarm feature. Those features can be obtained by sending the keywords via SMS remotely from another phone user.  This application needs two devices in order to run perfectly as this application runs remotely by another device.  Also, these applications need enough amount of pulse to send the keywords.  It needs GPS and network connection to obtain the right location. This application will make the android smart phone users feel safe, secure, and comfortable and not have to worry about their phone.

Abstract

In a critical situation, such as traffic accident, sometimes a person is required to do a first aid in order to save someone’s life, until the emergency unit arrives. If a person does not know how to do a first aid, he or she will need a guide, such as an application in a device that people always bring, a smartphone. Technology is one of the science fields that grow very fast. It is not only about the hardware but also the software, such as artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is one of the fields that are commonly used nowadays, either for gaming purpose, education and research purpose, or other purposes. This application, ES First Aid, is an Android application to help the user to decide what to do in emergency situation. It will ask a few questions related to the condition of the casualty then it will tell the user clearly about the actions needed to be taken.

Abstract

In this 21st century era, technology become much more effective and efficient, less time consuming, less human resource needed, less expense, etc. During the development of technology, everything turned out to be easier. The idea of using barcode are spreading with its barcode scanner with limited functions (ex : the distance limited with its cord), and we must buy the specific device to use it; not to mention that some scanner provide scanning a bar lines only, not QR-Code one.   In this paper, the barcode scanner will be installed in the smart device that is using the android operating system with its extended function such as text to speech implemented, signal strength display, and ping and connect function. The purpose of this scanner is to scan a data and send the decoded one to the server that has been set up. The Scanner itself can look at the main database if we are far away from the server. The server itself functions just like in medicine shops; it has the medicine database with its supplier and log history. Also it has two functions that only the admin can access it, confirming and deleting data. Confirming data will input the item that has already scanned to the main database, while deleting data will reduce the amount of item in the database. The server itself will be put on the internet so it can be accessed everywhere if there is an internet connection. This research aims to overcome its limitation, the scanner will be used in a smart device that modified to fulfil its requirement and make it become more effective and efficient.
