Abstract

Background: Telemarketing is an effectivemarketing strategy lately, because it allows long-distanceinteraction making it easier for marketing promotionmanagement to market their products. But sometimes withincessant phone calls to clients that are less potential to causeinconvenience, so we need predictions that produce goodprobabilities so that it can be the basis for making decisionsabout how many potential clients can be contacted whichresults in time and costs can be minimized, telephone calls canbe more effective, client stress and intrusion will be reduced.strong.Method: This study will compare the classificationperformance of Bank Marketing datasets from the UCIMachine Learning Repository using data mining with theAdaboost and Bagging ensemble approach, base algorithmusing J48 Weka, and Wrapper subset evaluation featureselection techniques and previously data balancing wasperformed on the dataset, where the expected results can beknown the best ensemble method that produces the bestperformance of both. Results: In the Bagging experiment, the best performanceof Adaboost and J48 with an accuracy rate of 86.6%, Adaboost83.5% and J48 of 85.9%Conclusion: The conclusion obtainedfrom this study that the use of data balancing and featureselection techniques can help improve classificationperformance, Bagging is the best ensemble algorithm from thisstudy, while for Adaboost is not productive for this studybecause the basic algorithm used is a strong learner whereAdaboost has Weaknesses to improve strong basic algorithm.

Abstract

As people get busy, they want fast and easyservice. This also applies to skin services in beautyclinics. The patient wants ease in terms of determiningthe type of facial skin problem and what treatments areappropriate for them. However, due to the limitednumber of dermatologists, patients often have to wait along time to be examined and sometimes even cannot beserved due to limited schedules. This expert system isbased on how doctors determine the type of facialproblems in patients and what treatments areappropriate for the problem. By using a mobileapplication, this system can be accessed by patients fromhome, making it easier for patients to get a quick andaccurate examination. This application was built usingthe forward chaining method where later patients willanswer questions that are used as a decision branch todetermine the skin problem. Eventually the patient canmake the required treatment and skin care needs andtake them to the clinic.

Abstract

Machinery safety is the most important aspectneeded around manufacturing or other engineering equipment.Machine guarding provides a means to protect humans frominjury while working nearby or while operating equipment.Machinery that has rotary part such as turbines, pumps, fans, rollers, are needed to be monitored to report the vibrationwhether they are safety or not. Thus the preventive action isneeded to ensure the safety of machinery before being used. Thispaper is about the monitoring system for machinery healthwhich is developed with Arduino. It detects the vibration fromthe machine and information to mobile application. Theinformation may include the vibration pattern, acceleration (g)value, recorded event, and also gives alert via mobile applicationin the form of vibration and ringtone.

Abstract

Trains, nowadays, are becoming a popular choice for a fast, comfortable, and cheaper way to travel. Train’s passengers on a long journey tend to occupy their time by accessing content through mobile devices. Cisco predicted Smartphone traffic will exceed PC traffic by 2020. With the increasing growth of content exchanged, there is a rising demand for managing content for mobile users. Without a significant improvement in railway network infrastructure, the Quality of Service (QoS) for communication in-carriage will degrade, compromising passengers’ experience in mobile communication. Moreover, due to the nature of the railway network that has to support a large group of users in a long journey period, the requested contents are usually bandwidthintensive with the need for continuous mobility support. In order to ensure mobile Quality of Service (mQoS), intelligent & dynamic content management is required to facilitate content distribution. Currently implemented a method to manage mobility heavily relies on a host-to-host connection. A proposal by Future Internet Architecture introduces content-centric networking with built-in mobility. The present paper consider scalability and QoS in high-speed mobility. Therefore, by using a content-centric network proposal, this research aims to propose railway communication networks that provide the solution of mobile QoS.

Abstract

Language has a fundamentally social function.Processes of human interaction along with domain-generalcognitive processes shape the structure and knowledge oflanguage. Recent research in the cognitive sciences hasdemonstrated that patterns of use strongly affect how languageis acquired, is used, and changes. This research is to develop anapplication for learning French, Korean, Japanese Palembangand Basa Jawa Languanges. Syntax, semantics and sentencestructure for each language must be considered in the design.Android is chosen to make this application able to be used inmobile fashion. Gathering and Analyzing Data related to eachlanguage is conducted first before carrying out design andcoding the system. Conclusion is withdrawn from the systemtesting and its evaluation results.
