Abstract

The worldwide education system has been significantly impacted by the growth of technology. The purpose of the study was to develop and utilize the Webquest instructional package for the teaching of thermodynamics in chemistry. This is intended to see if its usage will bring significance to pre-service chemistry teacher’s performance Thermodynamics is one of the chemistry topics students find difficult to understand. The study was carried out in colleges of education in Kwara State. All third-year chemistry students at the colleges of education made up the study's population. A thermodynamics performance test in Chemistry and the Webquest software program served as the study's two research tools. Data for the pre-test and post-test were collected at the start and conclusion of the study, respectively. The study revealed that students had a different impression of studying thermodynamics, in accordance with the research aims and findings. The students in the webQuest group claimed that using the webQuest package gave them a fresh perspective on how to comprehend the notion of thermodynamics, it is essential for the organizations in charge of teacher training colleges across the nation to promote the use of webQuest in instruction and training for teachers-in-training.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the administration needs of teachers based on the Google site in elementary schools. At this stage the researcher made observations of several elementary school teachers in Jejawi District regarding the administrative work carried out so far. This interview was conducted during testing with representatives of teacher administration assessors, in order to find out what needs to be improved before the Google Sites-based instrument is used during validation. Data collection in this research used qualitative data. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique also uses qualitative data analysis techniques. Analysis techniques in qualitative research focus more on the details of understanding a problem in depth rather than on the problem as a generalized subject of study. The data that researchers need to analyze is regarding the use of Google Sites as an online service that makes it easier for teachers to more practically download and edit teacher administration data created by researchers in one link. Based on observations of teachers who do administration manually, only 24% of teachers complete administration. It is hoped that this research can increase teacher administration work in elementary schools to 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that this analysis of teacher administration needs is useful for designing and building a Google Sites-based teacher administration system so that teachers can easily organize elementary school teacher administration.

Abstract

The development of teaching materials for Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) is one of the developments of teaching materials in Natural Sciences for Junior High Schools (SMP) which can facilitate students to have high-level thinking abilities, science process skills, as well as the development of interaction. social. This research aims to analyze the need for electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD) in junior high school science learning. Data collection in this research used a questionnaire with qualitative data types to improve students' abilities in using electronic teaching materials with valid, practical and effective live worksheets. The development model used is the Hannafin and Peck development model which consists of needs analysis, development, design and implementation stages, accompanied by Tessmer evaluation. The evaluations used are expert evaluations, one to one, small group and field tests. The characteristic of E-LKPD is that it has an attractive design containing videos, pictures and colors and is multimedia in nature, so it is hoped that it can make students enthusiastic in carrying out learning activities which will have implications for increasing learning outcomes and science process skills.
