Abstract

Abstract: Syllabus refers to a lesson plan on a particular or group of subjects/ themes that covers standard of competency, basic competencies, learning materials, learning activities, indicators of competence achievement, assessment, allocation of time, and learning resources. The principles in developing syllabus are scientific, relevant,systematic, consistency, adequate, actual and contextual, flexible, and comprehensive. The procedures of syllabus development are reviewing and determining standard of competency, assessing and determining basic competencies, determining indicators of competence achievement, identifying learning materials, determining the type of assessment, determining the allocation of time, and determining the source of learning. There are various models of syllabus on learning Arabic as a foreign language. Abstract

Abstract: The overflow of foreign language books and high demands of market with the need of new products, including the translation, makes the quality of translation work has decreased. In this void, a critic on translation is necessary in order to create an atmosphere of critical and dialogical associated with the work of translation. This paper analyzed and discussed errors of translation of the book of al-Balagah al-Wadihah work of Ali al-Jarim and Mustafa Amin. In accord to this, the researcher attempted to know the forms of errors in the results of translation of al-Balagah al-Wadihah, and how the correct form of alternative translation should be. The results showed that the error in the target language sentence structure included the sequence position of sentences. Errors in the use of sentence effectiveness dealt with translating unnecessary text and repetition of words that had been mentioned. Errors in translating vocabulary covered improper equivalent elections, not equivalence of word categories, and inaccuracy of idiom translation. Abstract

Abstract: The leader is essentially someone who has the ability to influence the behavior of others in the work by using power. Morally, leadership is closely related to the duties and functions of human beings on this earth. Among the duties and functions of his birth into this world is to preserve and utilize natural resources for the welfare of mankind. Man is created as the caliph of God on earth. In the Qur’an described thata good leader is for the good society as well. In other words, a good society can only be led and only requires a good leader as well.
