Abstract

This research was conducted to redesign the dimensions of the temporary sump to accommodate the total volume of incoming water so as to minimize the occurrence of puddles around the mining area. The method used is a quantitative method by analyzing daily rainfall data for 10 years (2011-2020) using the Gumbell distribution. Actual data in the form of field rainfall intensity, sump water level rise, dimensions and actual discharge of the channel as well as the length and diameter of the pipe. Based on the 5-year return period, the total incoming discharge is 27,043.160 m3/day and based on the maximum rainfall of 30,693.351 m3/day after pumping 607.71 m3/hour for 7 hours, resulting in a residual discharge of 22,789.190 m3/day for 37.5 hours (PUH 5 years) and 26,439.387 m3/day for 43.5 hours (maximum CH). The actual dimensions of all four of Edward's Pit 4 channels are already larger than theoretical. The pump cost which is planned to operate for 7 hours is Rp 408,107.14/day while the actual pump operates 4 hours with additional maintenance costs of Rp 174,811.20/day or ± 42% of the planned cost. Making the actual temporary sump is Rp 73,598,773.90 with an additional cost of making the recommended sump of Rp 62,874,123.60 or ± 85% of the actual cost with a total cost of Rp 272,744,273.

Abstract

The Mineral Processing Sector (BPM) is a place for processing precious tin minerals with other associated minerals. This research was conducted because the tin content in table water as feed in processing is still quite economical, namely 9.64% Sn and the minimum level that must be achieved as smelting feed is >60% Sn. The data collection method was carried out by conducting feed analysis with the GCA test to determine the levels and distribution of minerals in the feed. Furthermore, the shake table tool variations are adjusted such as stroke lengths of 15 mm, 22 mm, 10 mm with a sample result of 9 samples and the speed of air flow over the table is carried out as many as 3 variations, namely 0.025 m/s, 0.011 m/s, 0.014 m/s with results of 9 samples. Then the combination of the two variables was carried out with the results of 27 samples. The results of the GCA analysis were carried out to see the effect on levels and recovery. The results of the combination of stroke length and water flow velocity were the most optimal in combination with a stroke length of 15 mm and a water flow velocity of 0.025 m/s resulting in a concentrate of 58.44% Sn, moderately 6.26% Sn, and tailings 2.72% Sn as well as recovery. by 58.49%.

Abstract

PT Bukit Asam Tbk is a coal mining company. The ex-mining area of the MTBU site which will be reclaimed in accordance with the 2020 plan is 44 ha, but the available land is only 24.84 ha, the rest is still considered productive for mining. Therefore, it is necessary to study the planning of reclamation costs on the MTBU site land. The method of this research activity begins with determining the area of the site to be reclaimed using Argics 10.6 software. then the reclamation costs were calculated which were grouped into direct costs and indirect costs based on KEPMEN ESDM 1827 of 2018. The results of the calculation of the direct cost components and indirect costs of the reclamation plan activities covering an area of 24.84 ha, namely the direct cost of reclamation of Rp. 14,857,849,955 with details of land management costs of Rp 2,363,798,980 and revegetation costs of Rp 485,597,426. Indirect costs are Rp 3,179,579,890,37 with details of equipment mobilization and demobilization costs (2.5%) of Rp 371.446248.88, reclamation planning costs (6%) of Rp 891.470.997.30, administrative costs and profits third parties as the implementation of the reclamation stage of production operations (8.5%) amounting to Rp. 1,262,917,246.18 and supervision fees (4.4%) of Rp. 653,745,398.02. The total cost required for land reclamation of 24.84 ha is Rp. 18,037,429,845.37.

Abstract

Unconventional tin mining in Parit Tiga Village, Toboali District, South Bangka Regency is one of the mining sites that is rampantly carried out by the community. The problems that arise from the activities carried out by the community indicate that tin minerals in that location still have the potential to be mined at the conventional mining scale, this condition makes researchers want to study how much potential Sn levels are still contained even though the location is in the form of tailings. Data collection was 16 points at the first tailings location with an area of 160.000 m2 and 15 points at the second tailings location with an area of 150.000 m2. The samples were taken regularly with a distance between samples of 100 meters with a depth of 1,5 meters. Tailings samples were then tested using a microscope overview analysis method to obtain cassiterite levels. The results showed that the study area had 201.15 tons of Cassiterite potential at the first location and 300 tons at the second location to be studied further in terms of its economics.

Abstract

Excavation activities on mining activities cause tension changes on the ground that trigger the occurrence of deformation then followed by changes in slope stability. If slope stability is impaired then it will lead to the possibility of an avalanche, this will certainly result in the disruption of mining activities that endanger workers who are on the slope area with potential for avalanches. This study aims to find out parameters of basic RMR and deflection values of basic RMR at bench S and J, find out the values of slope stability using SMR at bench S and J, and cope with slope instability based on SMR values. The methods used in this study are quantitative and qualitative methods namely scanline sampling and rock physical test that is Uniaxial Compressive Strenght (UCS) tests, and Rock Quality Designation (RQD) measurements. The results of this study show that the rock conditions at the bench S and J are still good with RMR values of approximately 71 ± 73, the probability of avalanche occurrence is very low as SMR values range 71 ± 73, but still it needs to be carried out cutting on blocks indicated to ruins.

Abstract

The availability of the discontinuity structure causes the rock to be blown up have a cavity that later can be traversed by the thumping of explosive energy, so force from the explosion will be inhibited and the blasting is not optimal. This study aims to find the physical condition of granite rock at the mining site, find out the value of Blastibality Index of rock, and analyze the geometry design of blasting to obtain fragmentation ≤ 75 cm. The methods used in this study are quantitative and qualitative methods that are measuring joint structures, physical conditions of rocks, calculation of Rock Factor (RF) values, and calculation of Blastibility Index. The results of this study show if the physical condition of the rocks on bench M has an RQD value 88.97 % - 99.66 %, and Rock Factor value 5.51 and a Blastability Index 45.9 so, obtained a design of geometry with a burden 3.4 m, spacing 5.1 m, stemming 2.55 m, subdrilling 0.68 m, height 7.62 m, depth 5.1 m, and power charging 2.55 m.
