Abstract

The use of GPS technology is not comprehensive and only in certain fields, the purpose of this study is to determine the coordinates of the data (position) where students live (i) STMIK Profesional Makassar, the method used in achieving these goals is the method of observation, by making observations, then will get the desired results, in general application and open in the field is needed. Data in the form of address (position) of students who are not yet known and will be known by determining the coordinates using GPS.

Abstract

This application uses the Android operating system which is one of the most popular mobile phone operating systems currently combined with Google Map, which is a web-based virtual world map service provided by Google. This application can be used as a medium of navigation and information, especially for the location of tourist attractions in the city of Makassar. The system development uses the Location Based Service (LBS) method. The product of this development is a mobile-based GIS application that has an Android operating system or platform. After testing the application that has been made, it can be concluded that the Application for Searching for Tourism Objects with the Depth First Search Method in South Sulawesi Province is based on Android which can help users / users obtain information about tourist objects in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

Opening or accessing a room using human power can be some troublesome things such as losing the key, having to find a double lock or repairing the lock, holding the door handle, pushing the door and locking the door back. Gate locking that directly uses a PIN or password is needed for the security and privacy of a special room. The implementation of the AT89C51 Microcontroller on a tool designed is aimed at a special or privacy room such as a bank vault. The purpose of this research is how to realize the system of opening and closing doors that can move directly by entering a combination of numbers. Another purpose of the system is made to facilitate mobility, so that for busy people can be avoided from the business of opening doors manually that can be time-consuming for those who have busy. The results of this study will be published in the Progress Journal of the final semester of 2019/2020 published by P3M STMIK Profesional Makassar.

Abstract

Perkembangan dalam bidang pendidikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemajuan Teknologi Informasi, tidak lagi sekedar mencakup sebagai media komunikasi namun juga sebagai pusat informasi, maanfaat dari hadirnya teknologi informasi sangat dirasakan dimasa COVID-19, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan, dimana sistem pembelajaran konvensional harus diubah menjadi e-learning atau pembelajaran daring, guna memutuskan rantai penyebaran virus COVID-19. Media pembelajaran daring yaitu melalui Whatsapp grup, Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Team, Google Meet, dan sebagainya, semua media tersebut merupakan paduan dari perkembangan Teknologi dan Informasi yang akhirnya dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan menganalisa apakah dengan peranan teknologi informasi terbukti mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dimasa COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pendekatan studi kasus sehingga data yang dipaparkan mudah diapahami. Data yang dianalisa berasal dari website, jurnal, dan melakukan analisa berdasarkan pola pelaku tenaga didik dan peserta didik dalam menjalankan e-learning dengan memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai media wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian yang penulis lakukan dapat diungkapkan bahwa (1)Teknologi informasi mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran terutama di masa COVID-19, (2)Kelebihan, kekurangan serta kendala yang ditemukan dalam penggunaan media teknologi informasi sebagai solusi media pembelajaran, (3)penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
