The purpose of this service is to provide farming communities with knowledge about the adverse effects of using inorganic fertilizers on the environment and consumers. Farming communities know how to use organic fertilizers appropriately so that they are able to provide high production yields without damaging the environment and consumer health. The method of implementing the service is carried out by means of lectures and discussing evaluations of community activities, especially farmers. The result of community service is an increase in residents' knowledge related to the use of organic fertilizers. In addition, it can also provide information on public awareness of the impact of soil fertility, inorganic fertilizers on the environment and health.

Diseases are the disadventages in livestock farming that must be overcame with good animal health management practices. Animal health management must be implemented to improve livestock productivities. Farmers on Abeko Village, Ranomeeto Barat Sub-District, Konawe Selatan are still uninformed about the importance of animal health management practices. This programme aimed to improve the farmers’ knowledge and understanding in maintaining animal health in order to gain maximum livestock production. The methods used in this program were physical and non-physical activities such as restraining box construction, animal health treatment, discussion, and counseling.

Farmers in rural areas generally take advantage of the available feed sources around them. Their feed is fulfilled by utilizing agricultural by-products and natural forage available. Sindangkasih Village is well known as a transmigrant community from Java and Bali. Most of the people of Sindangkasih work as farmers and ranchers who are not familiar with high quality forages and how to cultivate them for animal feed. This program is to introduce the community in Sindangkasih Village to the potential of odot grass that can be cultivated as animal feed. So, the location is expected to be an area that has a variety of high-quality forage feeds for livestock, one of which is odot grass. The introduction of odot grass as a high-quality forage program is carried out as one of the leading service programs integrated with KKN thematic Program in 2021. The method used in implementing this program is to carry out counselling, direct practice and assistance in making odot grass nursery garden demo plots. The participants understanding the principles of odot grass cultivation easily and are able to adopt good cultivation techniques.

Kendari City as the provincial capital has the highest incidence of positive covid-19 cases compared to other districts / cities in Southeast Sulawesi, Until April 23, 2020 there were 17 positive patients with Covid-19 who were undergoing treatment. This has implications for decreasing consumption and people's income because they cannot carry out normal activities. The steps taken by the central and local governments to combat the Covid-19 pandemic are by carrying out social distancing or social restrictions by limiting distances between individuals and avoiding crowds. Another government policy is the implementation of work from home (WFH) or activities from home for some employees and school children. This condition adversely affects the economy of Kendari city. One of the solutions offered is raising quail by utilizing the house yard. Quail maintenance is quite easy, does not require a large area and the maintenance system can be completed in a minimalist manner. Quail products consist of eggs and meat. Quail meat is processed into rica-rica quail meat and eggs are processed into quail egg nest tofu. KKN-THEMATIC aims to provide insights and knowledge about processing and marketing of processed quail products to the public. The method used is a persuasive participatory method with direct extension activities and practices. The results that have been achieved in this KKN-TEMATIK activity are an increase in the knowledge and understanding of breeders and the community in developing their business sustainability by making processed quail products, aswell as marketing management of processed quail products.

Indonesia is experiencing a significant increase in the spread of Covid-19 cases, especially in the middle of 2021. Efforts made by the government to reduce the spread of Covid-19 include instructions for implementing the 5M health protocol (Wearing masks, Washing hands, Keeping distance, Staying away from crowds, Reducing mobility). ) and Vaccination. The purpose of this community service activity is to educate the community, especially the community around Wonorejo Village, Tegalsari District, Surabaya City to increasingly implement and comply with the 5M health protocol and support the government's vaccination program so that the spread of Covid-19 can be reduced. The method applied in community service activities by this group of 10 Thematic National Defense Community Service Programs is by conducting education using a media banner about Steps to restore the situation in Indonesia through the government's vaccination program, as well as complying with the 5M health protocol and vaccination based on the Covid-19 prevention protocol of the Ministry of Health.
