Abstract

Equitments of computer laboratory have a function as an important tools in supporting pratical lecturing. These facilities should always be on a condition like ready are proper to use both computers and others. To avoid equipment detriment, it is necessary to do early identification in which prevent the worse condition of equitments. The method use in this study is rough set method wich consists several stages such as Decision System, Equivalence Class, Discernibility Matrix, Discernibility Matrix Modulo D, Reduction, and Generate Rules. From this study, it was found that 14 rules in making decisions for equipments treatment of computer laboratory such as use, repair and replace. Thus, this mrthod is very capable in determining the detriment level of laboratory equipment.

Abstract

The Regional Supervisory Council (MPD) has the authority to conduct periodic checks on notaries. In carrying out supervision there is no clear legal or regulatory basis on how the notary performance assessment is categorized as very good, good or bad so there is no common perception from MPD members. The purpose of this study is to help MPD find the assessment category in monitoring the performance of the notary public in West Sumatra. To get the assessment category, the Rough Set method can be used to analyze the performance of a notary public. The data used in this study is the data notary examination at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in West Sumatra. This study produced 18 rules to get a decision whether the results of the notary performance check are very good, good or not good. So this research is very appropriate to be applied to get the results of the examination of notary performance.

Abstract

Expert system is a system that seeks to adopt human knowledge into computers, this research was conducted to diagnose diabetes early. Disease data that were processed were sourced from the South Solok District General Hospital. The method used is Backward Chaining by using a goal-driven approach. The result of testing this method is that the user understands the danger of diabetes and knows how to prevent it. Trials conducted on an expert system for diagnosing diabetes, most people understand the characteristics and symptoms of diabetes and understand how to prevent it. So that this expert system can be recommended for ordinary people.

Abstract

The Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in Padang always conducts an annual assessment of outstanding lecturers. In terms of assessment, it must be based on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes performance as well as personality and social achievements. The process of selecting outstanding lecturers at the Padang Ministry of Health Poltekkes is still manual, therefore it is necessary to design an application of a decision support system to determine outstanding lecturers using computerization using the profile matching method. The application is expected to help the campus in making decisions regarding the determination of outstanding lecturers with predetermined criteria and values. The results of this study get the final value of 4.84 obtained by the lecturer Dosen 2. Then from this analysis will be able to help the campus in determining the outstanding lecturers.

Abstract

The common method used to secure a MySQL database is in access control. The technique is the use of a password. To better secure the data sent cryptographic techniques need to be done. This study uses the Elgamal method in conducting cryptography. The results of this study generate MySQL databases in random form during safer delivery and can only be accessed by parties who have a password. So this research can further improve MySQL data security.

Abstract

In a fund industry is a very important factor, mismanagement or unavailability of funds can have a negative impact on the industry, the successful shop still uses internal capital that is capital from the sale of the store itself, the sales results are not always sufficient to pay the production wage money cause late payments which adversely affect the performance of workers and the industry itself, production wage data on successful stores can be utilized by using the rough set method to find solutions to predict future production wages, The results found 57 rules of 8 reducts from 11 Equivalence Classes that provide new information that is the cause factor of not achieving capital production wages, the main factor is income followed by sewing wages, cut wages.

Abstract

This study aims to test the accuracy of the Digital Prayer scheduling system using the Arduino as a controller. The place of research is the scheduling of Digital Prayers at the Putra Putra University Mosque (UPI) of the Padang College of Computer Foundation (YPTK). Prayer schedule data is taken from the website of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion and scheduling routine lecturer activities every morning. Data is stored on a MicroSD card with a different data file name. Data is processed using the Arduino module. The data tested is the display of prayer schedules on Seven Segments and lecturer activity schedule displays on Running Text. The prayer times automatically work with the date and time display (hours, minutes, seconds) starting from the Fajr prayer to the Isha prayer at Seven Segments. Display the activity of lecturer routines automatically by displaying the names of lecturers with the specifications of their assignments, such as reading the Qur'an, reciting Asmaul Husna and praying. Testing is done by activating the equipment for a week (7 days) non stops. The system is tested in terms of the durability of components in operation, the timeliness in activating Buzzer when prayer time has entered and scheduling lecturer activities very well, precisely and accurate. Thus the system can be used and produced on a larger scale.
