Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the projected changes in land cover in the Tegal Regency Coastal Area in 2031 and assess how well the Tegal Regency Regional Spatial Plan aligns with the anticipated changes in land cover. Methodology: This research used stratified random sampling method to determine the sample points used. The MOLUSCE plugin in QGIS 2.18.1 was used to simulate the prediction of land cover change. Results: According to the study's findings, there was a 2,120.58 hectare increase in the extent of agricultural land between 2007 and 2015. Similarly, there was a 457.65-hectare increase in built-up land. Additionally, the area of agricultural land grew by 1,069.02 hectares between 2015 and 2023. According to the 2031 land cover prediction, the amount of built-up land increased by 460.26 hectares and the area of agricultural land by 270.00 hectares. The results of the intersection of the Regional Spatial Plan Map and the 2031 Land Cover Prediction Map showed that 72.04% of the land area was suitable, while 27.96% was unsuitable. Applications/Originality/Value: This research can be used as a basis for future decision making because from the results there are several areas that do not match the prediction results and the Spatial Plan Map.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of settlement patterns along riverbanks and identify possible relationships between these settlement patterns and flood inundation. By focusing on remote sensing, spatial data to provide a holistic understanding of settlement dynamics and flood risk. Methodology: This research method uses the nearest neighbor approach, also commonly referred to as Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN). The data is analyzed based on the settlement distribution pattern that follows the river network. The role of remote sensing in the study of settlement distribution is crucial, especially in acquiring spatial data about the existence of settlements and the condition of the area at that time. Results: The results of this study show that the distribution pattern in parts of Martapura Sub-district indicates that building points are located along the river network, leading to an increasing concentration of buildings on the riverbanks. The impact of this distribution pattern is that the riverbanks become slums, which can result in tidal flooding.

Abstract

In the highly competitive tourism industry, management is prepared to tackle competition through continuous infrastructure development and the addition of supporting facilities. They have also readied skilled human resources. Marketing strategies such as billboard placement, brochure distribution, and banners have been implemented to attract more tourists to Pengging. Facilities are added to enhance visitor comfort, making this research well-suited for qualitative methods. Developing tourist destinations using a spatial approach should consider regional characteristics in policy formulation. Limited research exists on this topic in Indonesia, making this study potentially valuable for government tourism planning. It aims to assess Pengging's potential, attractiveness, and development plan, using SWOT analysis based on geographical, demographic, socio-cultural, economic, and infrastructure indicators. The conclusions suggest managing visitor centers, enhancing tourism products, environmental management, visitor capacity, marketing, human resources, institution development, and spatial planning for Pengging tourist attraction area. This study provides spatial analysis-based recommendations for the development of Pengging tourism as a regional flagship destination. The study is unique in its integration of spatial approaches and local potential analysis, which have rarely been applied before. The findings are valuable for supporting sustainable tourism management strategies, enhancing tourism appeal, boosting the local economy, and promoting environmental conservation.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to analyze the prediction of flood hazard in 2045 from the flood hazard map and compare it with the 2023 data geospatially using Geographic Information Systems. Methodology: The purpose of this research is to analyze the prediction of flood hazard in 2045 from the flood hazard map and compare it with the 2023 data geospatially using Geographic Information Systems. Results: The results showed that Tegal's highly flood-prone areas would increase by 1.7% in 2045, decreased by 0.59% in prone areas, and decreased by 0.77% in moderately prone areas by 2023. Applications/Originality/Value: One of the causes was a very high land cover change caused by an increase in built-up land and a decrease in vegetation.

Generation Z grows up and lives when financial technology is more advanced and developed. This study aims to determine the behavioral intention to use Islamic financial technology in generation Z. The method in this study is to use the UTAUT2 model and analyze it using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Square (PLS) in the SmartPLS 4.0 program. The sample in this study was generation Z in Surakarta who had never used Islamic bank services, totaling 115 respondents. The results in this study indicate that Effort Expectancy, Habit, and Hedonic Motivation have a significant effect on behavioral intentions to use Islamic Financial Technology, while Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, and Price Value have no significant effect on behavioral intentions to use Islamic Financial Technology.

The process of collecting secondary data is done through documentation studies. The data examination technique is assisted by the SPSS 26.00 software. Results: The analysis test results obtained that liquidity and financial leverage have no affect on the underpricing levels, whereas activity ratio and firm size have negative significant affect, but ROE tend a positive significant affects on the underpricing levels. The decrease in uncertainty by the company will also reduce the level of underpricing. Applications/Originality/Value: Many previous research have explore the factors that affect underpricing, but studies that specifically explore the role of financial ratios are still limited, especially for the post-2020 period. This research contributes to the literature by assure fresh empirical proof on the relationship between liquidity ratio (CR), financial leverage (DER), activity ratio (TATO), firm size (SIZE), and profitability (ROE) to underpricing which can then be adopt into advisement for investors, issuers, and underwriters in making decisions.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to provide recommendations related to investment or trading momentum using technical analysis based on two indicators, namely the Directional Movement Index (DMI) and Ichimoku Kinko hyo. The research population consists of stock price movements of financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2023 period. Stock price movement data is analyzed using the TradingView app. The method used is technical analysis, where Ichimoku Kinko hyo serves to identify stock price trends at a certain time, and DMI is used to measure trend strength as well as provide signals related to investment momentum. The data is analyzed in a descriptive analysis, with visualizations of trends and momentum generated through TradingView. The results show that the combination of Ichimoku Kinko hyo and DMI is effective in predicting stock price trends and providing signals for investment decision-making. Ichimoku Kinko hyo charts the market trend clearly, while the DMI assesses the strength of the trend and provides the right momentum signal to buy or sell. This study makes an important contribution to investors and traders in the stock market, in determining the right time to make a buy or sell decision based on the strength of the trend and momentum. Thus, the combination of these two indicators can increase the accuracy of trading decision-making in the financial stock sector on the IDX.
