Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one of essential factors that contributing for economic development. The role of women entrepreneur is pivotal in this regard. This study examined factors that influencing the success of women’s entrepreneur. This study used 231 respondents that located in Solo. The data gathered are analyzed by structural equation model. The result indicated that micro, macro, performance and capability positively influenced to the success of entrepreneur.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship was one of the key issues related to many aspects, including its relevance to the economic, business and employment. The researches on entrepreneurship were the references to identify the success factors which supported the entrepreneurial success. The internet development in the digital age indirectly influenced the entrepreneurial ethos. It was not only influenced by the market potential and product innovation, but also by the commitments to entrepreneurship education and training model. Therefore, the studies on entrepreneurship in the industrial and developing countries were attractive. It was relevant to the internet era which provided opportunities for the development of entrepreneurial ethos, especially for the younger generation.

Abstract

Onion Agriculture has benefited farmers, but the benefits are very small ascompared with production costs that have been published. This is consistent with the results of research Rosyadi (2009) which states that the level of profit is not sufficient to meet the needs of peasant household economy. Or in other words, onion farm in the location of the study did not provide significant benefits for the economy of peasant households. To solve the problems encountered, partner activities and implementation team agreed that this method is appropriate is the format of training and consultancy services “Implementation of Working Capital Management At the Onion Farm.” Indicators of success of this activity can be seen from some important things that are revealed through in-depth interview participants. Based on in-depth interview is known that onion farmers to understand the importance of working capital management and practice how to manage working capital well, efficiently and effectively. IbM event has implications for government policy for the district soon realized: (a) the availability of new varieties that productive, adaptive and resistant to pests or diseases, (b) availability of production technology and management of quality seeds, the concept of quality assurance and standardization as the first step to build a national seed industry a strong and independent, (c) Availability of environmentally friendly agricultural technologies and efficient by utilizing local resources in an optimal and sustained to produce horticultural products are the opportunities and open to the emergence of a modern and efficient industrial facilities in various regions, (d ) The availability of pest or disease control technology based on the use of natural enemies and reducing synthetic pesticides as low as possible, (e) The availability of postharvest technology for efficient packaging, conservation of fresh quality, product diversification is associated with increased value-added horticultural industry. So the activity is generally considered a success based on in-depth interviews that reveal some things about: (i) working capital management with a good, efficient and effective, (ii) pass the cost efficiency of production, (iii) allocating cash and stock in order to maintain the sustainability of agricultural onion, ( iv) understand and can do proper financial planning and benefits of capital budgeting and (v) increase the working capital of onion farming.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of country of origin and brand image on purchnase intension through perceived quality as an intervening variable. The research setting was on Skin cares and Beauty clinic Industry. This research used incidental sampling as a sampling technique. This study involved 300 respondents which acces the online questionnaires through google form. The data obtained were processed used descriptive analysis and SEM analysis with SmartPLS. The results indicate that the country of origin positively effect on perceived quality. Meanwhile, the country of origin variable did not affect on purchase intension. The brand image variable has a positively impact on the perceived quality variable. Brand image has a positive effect on intension to buy. The perceived quality positively effects on intension to buy. Ccountry of origin indirectly effect on intension to buy through perceived quality. Brand image has an indirect effect on intension to buy through perceived quality as an intervening variable

Abstract

Behavioral research on the case of mp3 music downloading is an interesting study since this case seems correlated to many occasions. An empiric study results that this kind of behavior happens not merely in the developed industrial countries but also in developing countries. On the one side, the results from empirical research indicates various factors, and on the other side there is research gap suitable for the observation settings in this research. This research aims to find out the behavioral models on the consumption of piracy products, especially concerning on the mp3 music downloading. This research involves a number of 100 students for the research samples, and utilizes structural analysis supported by maximum likelihood method. Indirectly, the result is reinforcing the arguments related to the various factors which is enforcing mp3 music downloading behaviors, although from the other point of view, this research found the importance of rational model on the mp3 music downloading behavior. The limitedness on this research will become a suggestion for the future research to the variable explorations and observation settings in order to support the generalization process of the results in accordance with behavioral research. Abstrak Penelitian keperilakuan berkenaan dengan kasus pengunduhan file musik dalam format mp3 merupakan sebuah studi yang menarik oleh karena hal ini tampaknya berkorelasi dengan berbagai kegiatan. Hasil-hasil studi empirik menunjukkan bahwa perilaku semacam itu terjadi bukan hanya di negara-negara maju tetapi juga di negara-negara sedang berkembang. Di satu sisi, hasil-hasil penelitian empiris menunjukkan terdapat berbagai faktor, namun di sisi lain masih terdapat kesenjangan penelitian yang dapat diobservasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku pada konsumsi produk bajakan, terutama menyangkut pada pengunduhan file musik dalam format mp3. Penelitian ini melibatkan 100 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian dan menggunakan analisis struktural yang didukung dengan metode maximum likelihood. Secara tidak langsung, hasil penelitian ini memperkuat argumen terkait dengan berbagai faktor yang mendorong perilaku untuk mengunduh file musik dalam format mp3, meskipun dari sudut pandang lain, penelitian ini menemukan pentingnya model rasional pada perilaku mengunduh file musik dalam format mp3. Keterbatasan pada penelitian ini menjadi saran untuk penelitian masa depan, yakni berkaitan dengan eksplorasi variabel dan pengaturan observasi dalam rangka mendukung proses generalisasi penelitian keperilakuan.

Abstract

Keraton Surakarta is one of the tourism destinations in Surakarta, Central Java. The southern side Keraton Surakarta looks rundown with quite untidy culinary street vendors and it was well-known as an area for night prostitution a decade ago. Previous research has already identified a mapping and economic potential of creative SMEs of culinary occupying in the Alun-Alun Kidul Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta. This literature and empirical study consists of three sections. First, it presents creative economic potential in the Alun-Alun Kidul Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta. Second, it discusses the various regulations on the management of street vendors. Third, it presents various empirical studies on the creative economy and the arrangement of the Alun-Alun Kidul. Content analysis of literature study was conducted to generate a pre-analysis strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the creative economy in the Alun-Alun Kidul Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta. The results of this study show that the Alun-Alun Kidul Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta becomes a recreation potential for medium-small income people. Besides, the regulation issued by local government and the Kasunanan Surakarta prohibit it to be permanent place for street vendors. In addition, various empirical studies show the importance of managing and structuring the Alun-Alun Kidul Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta as small recreational place for public while accommodating street vendors leads to good and fair situation for all parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand ambassador dan electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) terhadap minat beli konsumen marketplace Lazada dengan brand image sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, jenis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan diolah menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand ambassador, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) dan brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli. Variabel brand ambassador dan electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand image. Brand ambassador dan electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli melalui brand image sebagai variabel intervening.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of current ratio, and total asset turnover on profit growth. Current ratio is one of liquidity ratio and total asset turnover is one of activity ratio. This type of research is quantitative data. The population used in this study is all companies registered in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) period 2016-2020. This research hypothesis test uses secondary data with purposive sampling techniques and companies that meet the criteria of 18 companies. Secondary data uses data collection by means of documentation. The analysis methods used are Multiple regression test of panel data, Classic assumption test, goodness of fit model accuracy test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study partially show that the current ratio has a significant positive effect on profit growth. While total asset turnover negatively affects profit growth. Simultaneously the current ratio and total asset turnover have a significant effect simultaneously on the company's profit growth.
