Abstract

Youth crime in Pasuruan is getting worse because Pasuruan has many negative effects including for most drug addicts known crimes in Pasuruan area. This is due to several factors, including individual immaturity, so there is a need for an education that can really help shape individual personalities with joy and give freedom to their students, one of which is through Pencak silat. This study was designed to measure the effect of Pencak silat on personality formation. The population for this study consisted of all members of Pagar Nusa Pasuruan with a total of 800 fighters, as the population was over 100, the sample used was 80 new fighters using a deliberate sampling technique, which is The One Group's project Pre-test after testing the research. The results showed that there are similarities in the assumptions of this study, which means that there are significant personal differences between the personalities before and after the practice of Pencak Silat.KEY WORDSpersonality; pencak silat; pagar nusa ABSTRAKKejahatan remaja di Pasuruan semakin memburuk karena Pasuruan memiliki banyak dampak negatif, termasuk bagi sebagian besar pengguna narkoba, kejahatan yang sudah dikenal di wilayah Pasuruan. Perilaku tersebut disebabkan oleh bermacam macam faktor, diantaranya faktor internal berupa kepribadian. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pendidikan yang benar-benar dapat membantu membentuk kepribadian individu dengan penuh suka cita dan memberikan kebebasan kepada anak didiknya, salah satunya melalui pencak silat. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengukur pengaruh pencak silat terhadap pembentukan kepribadian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota Pagar Nusa Pasuruan dengan jumlah 800 pesilat, karena populasi lebih dari 100 maka sampel yang digunakan adalah 80 pesilat baru dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara sengaja yaitu The One Group Pretest post-test design research. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesamaan asumsi penelitian ini, artinya terdapat perbedaan kepribadian yang sangat signifikan antara kepribadian sebelum dan sesudah latihan pencak silat.KATA KUNCIKepribadian; Pencak Silat; Pagar nusa

Abstract

ABSTRACTSelf regulated learning is an interesting and important study in the Covid-19 pandemic so that many experts are doing it according to their scientific fields. This study aims to examine the effect of self-awareness and optimis on self-regulated learning. The research method used quantitative with subject 105 new students who were taken randomly at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The data was obtained through a scale of SRIS (self awareness), LOT-R (optimism) and OSRL (self regulated learning). Data were analyzed using regression techniques. The results of the analysis show that self-awareness and optimis have a direct effect of 40.9% with an R-square value = 0.409. The implication of the results of this study is the importance of self-awareness and optimis in increasing and developing self-regulated learning in students to support success in learningKEY WORDSself-regulation in learning; self-awareness; optimistic; new students ABSTRAKPengaturan diri dalam belajar merupakan kajian yang menarik dan penting di masa pandemi Covid-19 sehingga banyak para ahli yang melakukannya sesuai dengan bidang keilmuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kesadaran diri dan optimisme terhadap pengaturan diri dalam belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan subyek 105 mahasiswa baru yang diambil secara acak di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Data diperoleh melalui skala SRIS (kesadaran diri), LOT-R (optimisme) dan OSRL (self regulated learning). Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa self-awareness dan optimisme berpengaruh langsung sebesar 40,9% dengan nilai R-square = 0,409. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pentingnya kesadaran diri dan optimisme dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan self-regulated learning pada siswa untuk menunjang keberhasilan dalam belajar.KATA KUNCIpengaturan diri dalam pembelajaran; kesadaran diri; optimis; mahasiswa baru
