Abstract

This study aims to find out 1). Innovative work planning for teachers of SMA Negeri 1 of South Halmahera and SMA AL-Khairaat Labuha, 2). The implementation of innovative work of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Halmahera and SMA Al-Khairaat Labuha, 3). Supervision of innovative work of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Halmahera and SMA Al-Khairaat Labuha, and 4). The assessment of innovative work of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Halmahera and SMA Al-Khairaat Labuha. This study used qualitative approach with narrative research method and the research design used was a multi-site study, where first site is SMA Negeri 1 south Halmahera and second site is SMA AL-Khairaat Labuha where the locus located in south Halmahera district. The results showed that 1). The teachers innovative work planning at the two research sites was compiled through a process consisting of two stages, problem identification and alternative problem-solving option. Establishing teachers’ innovative work development plan and applying the principles of deliberation and consensus, 2). The implementation of innovative work of teachers at the two research sites based on the predetermined work plan and is supported by managerial behaviour in the form of providing motivation, communicating face to face and through the electronic medium such as smartphone and supported by teacher behaviour in the form of being committed to achieving innovative work development goal, 3). Supervision of teacher innovative work consists of three types of supervision which include before, during, and after the implementation of the teachers’ innovative work development plan, 4). The assessment of teachers’ innovative work is carried out through an assessment process consisting of three stages of measuring, comparing, and taking managerial action.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the impact of incentivizing, motivation and discipline on the performance of The Department of Education and Culture of Lubuklinggau City employees simultaneously and partially. Qualitative method was used in this research, with 57 employees at The Department of Education and Culture of Lubuklinggau City as a sample. Multiple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test, f-test and t-test were used in this research as data analysis technique. The results obtained from partial test (t-test) proved that incentivization, motivation, and discipline each had a partially significant impact on employee performance at the office of The Department of Education and Culture of Lubuklinggau City where t (count) > t (table) and also sig 0,001 < 0,05. Incentives, Motivation, and Disciplines have simultaneously significant impact on employee performance, where t (count) > t (table) and also sig is 0,000 < 0,05. This research is an important contribution to the regulation of human resources in The Department of Education and Culture of Lubuklinggau City so. The determination of discipline, incentives, and motivation tends to be neglected in improving performance so that it is necessary to examine the relationship to performance in human resources, which is an important contribution of research.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of consumer behavior on brand success. Consumer behavior is a study of consumers and their methods to choose, consume, and dispose of products and services, including their social, cognitive, and developmental progress. Panasonic Corporation may face the issues of consumer behavior which affects customer satisfaction and loyalty affecting the company’s development. This paper presents the factors of consumer behavior that may bring Panasonic to its success. The findings provide particular qualities to enhance the opportunity of increasing its customer satisfaction and guidance for potential development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine Subway marketing 4P strategy as the competition in the fast-food industry is extremely high. Subway is needed to keep on striving for better performances to build existing customer loyalty while attracting new customers. Therefore, we examine Subway marketing 4P (product, price, promotion, and place) to ensure that Subway can obtain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The study used primary and secondary data methods to collect respondents’ perceptions of Subway performances. The findings indicated that marketing 4P strategies are the important prediction of the success of the company.

Abstract

Consumer behavior is the study of consumers and the processes they use to choose, apply and dispose of products and services, including consumers’ emotional and behavioral responses. IKEA is a multinational home furnishings company founded in 1943 in Sweden that has grown rapidly. They manage to produce their products and services more widespread not only based on price but create a unique shopping experience. This study aims to examine the factors that affect consumer behavior in IKEA. Various factors like social factors, wide products assortment, price and others are investigated to analyze consumer behavior of IKEA’s customers. Likert Scale was used to get the final results from the questionnaire filled out by the respondents. The questionnaires were distributed to 250 respondents who use IKEA products. The Likert scale will be used to measure a person's perception and attitude or opinion. The results showed that they chose IKEA due to the cost-advantages and wide products assortment as there has uniqueness over IKEA and cannot be compared with other retailers.

Abstract

The progress of a country can be seen from its economic growth level. One of the financial institutions that helps the economic sector at the traditional village level in Bali Province is the Village Credit Institution (LPD). LPD performance describes its goal achievement. This research aims to determine the LPD performance of Klungkung with several variables such as accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness tested using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings show that accountability does not affect LPD performance while responsibility, independence, and fairness positively affect LPD performance.

Abstract

The regional characteristics of Manado city show its enormous potential as a center of tourism development, especially coastal tourism. This study aims to determine the influence of vocational school graduates in Manado City to develop its sustainable tourism. We involved tourism service actors who employing vocational schools, purposively selected as the sample. For the data analysis, we used descriptive and non-parametric statistical analysis with quantitative methodology aided with the SPSS software. The findings indicate a significant influence of vocational school graduates on the development of sustainable tourism in Manado. Thus, their role should be increased by adjoining tourism-based skills accentuated on tourism sustainability.

Abstract

Apple has a large customer base in Malaysia because they offer products of superior design and features. The main objective of this study is to determine the contributing factors to Apple’s sustainability in Malaysia’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry. This study is conducted based on quantitative research with 100 targeted respondents from Malaysia. The findings indicate that the marketing strategies, brand awareness, and customer experience are the major factors of the successful pathway of Apple’s sustainability. The research concludes that Apple Industry should adapt a frequent reengineering approach where the existing and upcoming Apple products will satisfy customer needs.

Abstract

Character education in Indonesia has been a crucial issue for more than two last decades. It has become the state priority in the national education policy for its character education reinforcement programs. This study aims to investigate the character education management in SMA Catholic Seminary Kakaskasen and SMA Lokon St. Nikolaus Tomohon. This is a multi-site study to examine and describe the planning (designing), actualization (implementation), and evaluating and monitoring procedures of their character education model. This study applied a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate effective measures to manage their character education programs.

Abstract

The development of the Creative Economy sector in collaboration with the IKM Sector to maintain local culture so it continues to grow and be sustainable. The development of IKM creativity is facilitated by the Denpasar City Government through the Denpasar Festival which is expected to be able to build an ecosystem, brand image and creative economy networking. For this reason, event implementation as one of the promotional media, so that the IKM brand image can be known by the wider community, both domestically and abroad. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of product quality and product value on the brand image of IKM and moderated by the event. Respondents in this study were IKM who participated in the Denpasar Festival event for 3 consecutive years (2017 to 2019). The number of respondents used was 154 IKM using a sampling technique called Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. This research used SEM analysis with SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results showed that product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image, product value has no effect on brand image, events can moderate the effect of product quality on brand image, and events are not able to moderate the effect of product value on brand image.
