Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in Civics learning outcomes using the discussion method in class IV students at SDN Karangsambigalih II, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SDN Karangsambigalih II, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency, totaling 14 students. Data collection methods in this study used tests, observation and documentation. Research instruments in the form of tests and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The indicator of the success of the action is marked by ≥75% of the number of students participating in the learning process who have obtained a value of ≥70. The results of the study showed an increase in Civics learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Karangsambigalih II, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency for the 2018/2019 academic year after using the discussion method. In the pre-cycle, students who scored ≥70 by 28.58% increased to 42.85% in cycle I and increased again to 78.57% in cycle II. The average value of learning outcomes in the pre-cycle 58.57 increased to 68.57 and in the second cycle increased to 75.71.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes after using project-based learning and student engagement in the use of project-based learning. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Sugio class VII C in the 2020/2021 academic year. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is used in two cycles. The research instruments used were observation sheets of student learning activities, observation sheets of teacher teaching activities, test questions, and documentation. The results of the study can be concluded that student learning outcomes after using the project-based learning model obtained an average student learning outcome that is more increased, namely 76.96. The increase increased by 75.86% from cycle I which was only 44.82%.

Abstract

The main problem to be answered in this study is: Can the snake and ladder demonstration in Mathematics learning improve the learning achievement of grade 1 students at SDN Gondanglor II, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency. Each cycle is a series of activities consisting of 1) Planning, to identify problems and plan learning activities, and create research instruments; 2) Acting, carrying out learning in the Mathematics subject matter of addition, subtraction of two-digit numbers; 3) Observing, collecting data through test results and observation sheets, 4) Reflecting, analyzing observed data. The subjects in this study were all 10 grade 1 students at SDN Gondanglor II, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency, totaling 10 students. This classroom action research uses snakes and ladders visualizers during Mathematics learning. From the results of research that has been done shows that using snakes and ladders visualizer can improve student achievement.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is "Is the application of learning models through classroom supervision activities able to improve the quality of learning for students at SD Negeri 2 Tlanak, Kedungpring District, Lamongan Regency?". Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the application of learning models through classroom supervision by the school principal proved successful in increasing the ability of SD Negeri 2 Tlanak teachers, Kedungpring District, Lamongan Regency in managing the learning process. In addition, with the increasing ability of SD Negeri 2 Tlanak teachers in Kedungpring District, Lamongan Regency in managing the learning process, not only does the student learning process become more meaningful but also their learning outcomes increase.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research is to improve the students’ ability to write a descriptive text through the use of picture series-aided learning strategy. A class of the seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 27 Paciran Lamongan were used as the subject of the study. The required data were collected through the use of a questionnaire, an observation checklist, and a scoring rubric. The datanfrom the questionnaire indicated that the majority of students had a positive attitude toward the use of picture-series to learn descriptive text writing. Moreover, it is found from the observation data that the students participated actively in the learning process. Finally, the study also proved that the strategy improved the students’ writings with an average score increasing from 56.86 (0-100 scale) prior to the teaching learning process to 77.87 at the end treatment.

Abstract

This study aims to answer whether the application of SPBM through inquiry models in healthy and unhealthy environmental materials can improve student learning outcomes in semester 1 of SDN Karangsambigalih II SDN Karangsambigalih II, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency, Academic Year 2016/2017"?. Classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle of stages being planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of SPBM through the inquiry model in healthy and unhealthy environmental material increased student learning outcomes. This can be seen from student learning outcomes in each cycle where in the pre-cycle there were 7 students or 43.75% who completed. then experienced an increase in cycle I, namely there were 10 students or 75% and in cycle II there were 12 students or 75%, an increase also occurred in the activeness of student learning, where in cycle I, namely there were 10 students or 62.5% and in cycle II there 14 students or 87.5%.
