Abstract

Getting maximum profit is the main goal of every company. To achieve this goal, it is important for companies to control raw material inventory. Tommy Alumunium Store is a furniture industry company that produces various kinds of furniture products, one of which is cabinets. The existence of an uncertain amount of demand can result in the company experiencing excess or shortage of inventory from the amount of demand. So that research will be conducted to control raw material inventory and determine the total inventory costs that must be incurred by the company using the Material Requirement Planning method. The lot sizing used is the Lot for Lot technique, Economic Order Quantity and Period Order Quantity. This research is applied research. This study found that the most effective technique to apply is Lot for Lot, because it results in the minimum cost. With this Lot for Lot technique, the company can save inventory costs of Rp. 7,644,339 or 51.46% of the total inventory costs owned by Tommy Alumunium Store.

Abstract

Salon Kecantikan Muslimah Beauty Care memiliki 21 karyawan dengan 6 jenis pekerjaan. Pengelola sering menghadapi kesulitan dalam membagi tugas secara optimal, terutama saat permintaan pelanggan meningkat, yang menyebabkan pekerjaan tidak sesuai dengan keahlian karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan penjadwalan karyawan menggunakan metode Hungaria modifikasi, yang dipilih untuk mengatasi ketidakseimbangan alokasi tugas. Masalah penjadwalan dirumuskan ke dalam model matematika. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata kinerja karyawan meningkat dari 77,19 sebelum penerapan metode menjadi 88,19 setelah metode diterapkan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan alokasi karyawan yang optimal sesuai prioritas pekerjaan. Face treatment diberikan kepada Isna, Betty, Puti, dan Yana, sementara Body treatment ditugaskan kepada Buk Yun, Aisyah, dan Dila. Refleksi/therapy & massage dipercayakan kepada Meme, Inong, Netti, dan Tini, sedangkan Hand & foot treatment kepada Vivin, Rani, Yus, dan Thia. Totok aura kesehatan ditangani oleh Eva, Niar, dan Lisa, sementara Creambath dikerjakan oleh Melly, Tari, dan Atik.

Abstract

Persamaan Polinomial kuartik adalah persamaan polinomial yang memiliki pangkat tertinggi yaitu empat. Salah satu permasalahan persamaan polinomial kuartik adalah mencari solusi akar dari persamaan polinomial kuartik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membentuk formula dan menyusun langkah-langkah dari Perluasan Metode Cardano. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa bentuk formula Perluasan Metode Cardano memiliki rumus kuadrat yang menghasilkan empat nilai kemudian disubstitusikan ke rumus akar sehingga menghasilkan empat akar persamaan polinomial kuartik yaitu yang memiliki akar rill dan kembar pada diskriminan sama dengan nol, akar rill dan berlainan pada diskriminan besar dari nol, serta akar kompleks pada diskriminan kecil dari nol. Selanjutnya diperoleh langkah-langkah dari Perluasan Metode Cardano yaitu tentukan nilai k,l,m,n, tentukan nilai p,q,r,z,D, dalam z besar dari nol dan kecil sama dengan empat berdasarkan persamaan kubik resolven, dan masukkan nilai z dalam formula Perluasan Metode Cardano yang didapat.

Abstract

Jumlah penduduk dan partisipasi angkatan kerja di Provinsi Sumatera Barat mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2022. Namun, juga terjadi ketidakseimbangan antara jumlah pencari kerja dan lowongan kerja. Hal ini mengakibatkan naiknya angka pengangguran di Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan kabupaten/kota di Sumatera Barat berdasarkan tingkat pengangguran menggunakan metode Density Based Spatial Clustering Applications with Noise, dan validasi cluster dengan metode evaluasi silhouette coefficient. Berdasarkan hasil pengelompokannya diperoleh dua cluster dan satu noise. Secara keseluruhan, dengan metode ini diperoleh hasil validasi cluster sebesar 0,50 yang berarti kategori struktur cluster yang baik.

Abstract

Trade is a sector that significantly contributes to national economic growth, but the lack of understanding of marketing strategies has led many traders to incur losses. The rapid development of information and communication technology requires increasingly modern human activities. Various complex problems can be modeled and simulated first before being implemented, resulting in optimal outcomes. One of the strategies for preparing stock is to avoid stock shortages and surpluses. The Monte Carlo method and Expected Monetary Value are two methods used for making predictions. The forecasted sales figures for the Legenda gepeng product for the years 2024-2025 are 739,914 packs, Legenda Premium 54,201 packs, and Legenda Pia 137,750 packs. The lowest MAPE for each product is 17.59%, 33.24%, and 25.17% respectively.

Abstract

Auto 2000 Padang memiliki target layanan servis kendaraan sebanyak 1.225 unit per bulan dalam 25 hari kerja dengan 14 mekanik dan 8 jenis pekerjaan. Namun, rata-rata capaian servis bulanan pada tahun 2023 hanya mencapai 859 unit, sehingga diperlukan penugasan mekanik yang optimal agar target tercapai. Penelitian ini menerapkan Modified Hungarian Method untuk menyelesaikan masalah penugasan yang tidak seimbang karena jumlah mekanik tidak sama dengan jumlah jenis pekerjaan. Metode ini mengoptimalkan penempatan tugas dengan mempertimbangkan efisiensi waktu kerja setiap mekanik untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode ini mampu meningkatkan jumlah unit servis menjadi 1.359 unit per bulan, melampaui target yang ditetapkan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pengoptimalan penugasan menggunakan Modified Hungarian Method dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja mekanik.

Thel data useld arel primary data using a quelstionnairel containing a numbelr of structureld writteln quelstions to obtain relspondelnt information. This study usels thel Factor Analysis melthod. Thel variablels arel Agel, Body Mass Indelx, Food Intakel, Meldication Compliancel, Physical Activity, Strelss, History of Hypelrtelnsion and Parity. Thel relsults of this study indicatel that thel factors that influelncel hypelrtelnsion in prelgnant womeln consist of threlel factors, namelly, thel first factor is built by agel, body mass indelx. Thel selcond factor consists of compliancel with taking meldication, food intakel. Thel third factor consists of parity, strelss and history of hypelrtelnsion.

Abstract

Olivia Bakery is a business specializing in the production of sweet bread in various flavors. Currently, the bakery faces challenges in production planning, as it struggles to determine the optimal number of breads to produce for each variant based on the availability of raw materials. The objective of this study is to formulate a mathematical model that incorporates the constraints of raw material availability, production time, and market demand to determine the optimal production quantities and maximize profits. This problem is addressed using an optimization approach with the Affine Scaling Algorithm. The research is categorized as applied research and utilizes both primary and secondary data obtained through observation and documentation. The results of the analysis show that the use of the Affine Scaling Algorithm generates a profit of Rp 635,117.00, compared to the average normal profit of approximately Rp 497,888.00. Therefore, this method proves to be more effective in increasing the company's profitability.
