Istoria: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali setahun, setiap bulan April dan September yang berisi hasil penelitian (lapangan atau studi pustaka) kajian teoretis maupun kajian kritis. Jurnal ini merupakan salah satu media publikasi bagi penelitian dengan kajian terkini dalam bidang sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah yang meliputi ranah sejarah dan pembelajaran sejarah itu sendiri. Dalam penelitian sejarah teoritis dan kritis mencakup sejarah dunia, sejarah Indonesia, dan sejarah lokal sedangkan pada bidang pendidikan sejarah mencakup strategi pembelajaran sejarah, metode pembelajaran sejarah, evaluasi pembelajaran sejarah, dan hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sejarah.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the variety and meaning of the philosophy of Malay women's clothingin the Kota Jambi Seberang area and explain the changes and developments in the variety ofwomen's clothing in Kota Jambi Seberang. This research used historical method which consists offour steps, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The sources used areprimary sources in the form of archives, interviews and skunder sources in the form of articles, booksand other literature. The findings showed that although in the following times there were changesand developments in Malay clothing in the Kota Jambi Seberang, it still survived and was still usedby women in daily life to certain events (official / formal) such as tengkuluk, baju kurung, and batik.In fact, there have been many new products produced from some of these Malay clothes such as batikthrough product diversification. Changes and developments are also supported due to trends,fashions, and government policies.

Abstract

This research begin from problems at SMA Negeri 9 Jambi City, namely the presence of studentswho did not understand the material, the lack of use of learning media during the learning processso that in learning the atmosphere became monotonous and boring. This study aims to find out thesteps for making infographic media and knowing the feasibility of infographic media. Thedevelopment model used is ADDIE which has five stages, namely analysis, design, development,implementation, evaluation. The developed media is then validated by media experts and materialexperts. In field trials, three stages of research were carried out, namely individual trials thatobtained 80% results with the "Good" category, small group trials obtained 84% results with the"Good" category and large group trials obtained 91% results with the "Very Good" category. So, itcan be concluded that Infographic media is "feasible" to use for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the development of Video-Based Learning Media onlearning Local History material at SMA Negeri 9 Jambi City. To see student responses when learningusing Video media. The development model used is ADDIE which consists of 5 stages, namely theAnalysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subject of this study wasa student of SMA Negeri 9 Jambi City class XI. The feasibility of learning media refers to the resultsof media assessments by experts on the learning media developed. Video-based history learningmedia on Colonial History material in Jambi City that was developed has met the criteria foreligibility / validity for use for grade XI high school students. The results of the media assessment byvalidator I obtained a value of 90.3 with very valid eligibility criteria. The results of the validator IImaterial assessment obtained a value of 87.5 with very valid eligibility criteria. The results of thehistory teacher's assessment on the media aspect obtained a score of 100 with very Good criteria andthe material aspect obtained a value of 97.5 with very Good criteria. The results of the assessment ofstudent responses in the first trial obtained a percentage of 81% with very good eligibil ity criteria,the second trial 90% with very good eligibility criteria, and the third trial obtained a percentage of90.6% with very good eligibility criteria.

Abstract

This research purpose is to find out and describe the causes of the existence of Javanese tribesin Sri Agung Village, Batang Asam District, Tanjung Jabung Bara Regency, the development ofJavanese tribes from 1991 to 2011 in Sri Agung Village, Batang Asam District, West TanjungJabung Regency, and Javanese cultural changes that have occurred in Sri Agung Village,Batang Asam District, West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This research used history method.Researchers try to find historical data and facts related to problems regarding the title of thestudy. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the Javanese transmigrated to improvetheir standard of living, and finally their economy developed in the 90s towards 2000 when palmoil prices soared, in addition to economic development, the development of education alsofollowed their success. Javanese culture in wedding ceremonies and death memorials is stillgoing on but with adaptations to several supporting events.

Abstract

Djamaluddin Wak Ketok, a fighter who has been active since independence, played a verysignificant role in the PRRI upheaval in Padang City. This article aims to explain his life journeythrough a thematic biographical approach. This research approach consists of several stages:first, collecting sources through heuristic methods; then, critical processing and interpretation ofdata; and finally, biographical writing. The results of the research show that Djamaluddin WakKetok tenaciously faced the ground attack on Anduring by the central army, which ult imatelyforced the PRRI troops to retreat to the Karakate Hill hills. At a meeting in Pariaman during thePRRI upheaval, it was agreed to form five battalions under the Banteng Division. In this context,Djamaluddin Wak Ketok was chosen as commander of the Bazooka battalion responsible for thePadang City and Padang Outer City areas. His courage and steadfast attitude continued to shinethrough in battle, including the attack at Simpang Haru, which ultimately resulted in the loss ofhis life. All his sacrifices were made to protect the people who suffered from the cruel actions ofthe central army from the 442 Diponegoro battalion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of assessment media on student learning outcomes based onWordwall educational games in history subjects in class XI. The research carried out is a type of experimentalresearch using One – Group Pretest-Posttest Design (One Group Pretest-Postest). This research wasconducted in class XI Social Studies 5 with a total of 34 students. Based on the research conducted, the use ofIndonesian History lessons shows a significant influence compared to the use of conventional media. This canbe seen from the average score of the experimental class is greater than the average value of learning outcomesin the control class, overall the average score of the control class (pre-test) is lower than the average value ofthe control class (post-test) 75.5 < 64.5. In addition, students' attention focused on assessing learningoutcomes using Wordwall educational game media, affects students' understanding of the Indonesian Historysubjects taught to be optimal. Judging from the results of student tests that in all indicators student responsesthat reached an average of 81.01 out of 6 indicators consisting of 20 questions worked on, it means that theassessment media for student learning outcomes based on the educational game Wordwall affects studentlearning outcomes and is very effective.
