Abstract

The Role of School Organizations in Building a Collaborative Culture and Educational Effectiveness School organization is a strategic element in the implementation of education that plays a crucial role in shaping work culture and the effectiveness of achieving educational goals. However, previous studies have tended to discuss organizational structure, collaborative culture, and educational effectiveness separately, thus failing to provide an integrative understanding of the interrelationships of these three aspects. This article aims to analyze the role of school organization in building a collaborative culture and improving educational effectiveness through a literature review approach. The research method uses a literature review of 30 national and international scientific articles published between 2019 and 2024, which were analyzed through thematic synthesis. The results of the study indicate that integrated school organization can strengthen collaborative culture, improve coordination among school members, and positively impact managerial effectiveness and the quality of the educational process. The main contribution of this article is the strengthening of the conceptual framework that integrates organizational structure, collaborative culture, and educational effectiveness as a unified school social system, which is relevant to the development of educational management theory and practice.

Abstract

The digital transformation of government and strengthening public information disclosure policies have encouraged local governments to develop legal information services that are transparent, participatory and responsive. However, nationally, the achievement of information openness still faces challenges, as reflected in the 2025 Public Information Openness Index (IKIP) value of 66.43, down 9.22 points compared to 2024 of 75.65. This condition shows that information disclosure, especially legal information services at the regional level, has not been effectively institutionalized. One of the instruments used is the Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH), although its management is still administrative and focuses on providing legal documents. This research aims to analyze the development of JDIH Nganjuk Regency based on co-creation within the New Public Governance (NPG) framework. A qualitative approach was used with a case study design through in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies which were analyzed thematically and interpretively. The research results show that although JDIH Nganjuk Regency has run well administratively and received institutional recognition, management is still government centric and has not provided meaningful participation space for the community. The main principles of NPG, especially governance networks and co-creation, have not been systematically institutionalized due to institutional limitations, low public legal literacy, and the unavailability of clear participation mechanisms. The conclusion of this research confirms that the development of JDIH based on co-creation in the NPG paradigm is a strategic need in improving legal information services and strengthening the legitimacy of regional policies, which requires support by strengthening governance networks, increasing management capacity, and sustainable participatory development

Abstract

This study aims to identify and synthesize empirical evidence on the relationship between job demands, job resources, and burnout in the teaching profession through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review process followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and employed the PIOT framework (Population, Issue, Outcome, Type of Study) to formulate research questions and guide the search strategy. Literature searches were conducted in two electronic databases, Google Scholar and PubMed, covering publications from 2021 to 2025. Of the 602 articles initially identified, six studies met the inclusion criteria after systematic screening and full-text eligibility assessment and were subsequently analyzed in depth. The synthesis of findings indicates that job demands—particularly workload, role conflict, and role ambiguity are consistently and positively associated with teacher burnout. In contrast, job resources such as social support and a supportive work environment tend to function as protective factors, although their buffering effects vary across educational contexts and organizational conditions. These findings underscore the complex and context-dependent nature of the relationships between job demands, job resources, and burnout. This review contributes theoretically by reinforcing the Job Demands–Resources framework within the context of the teaching profession and offers practical implications for policymakers and school administrators in developing more comprehensive and sustainable strategies to prevent teacher burnout.

Abstract

Kitchen workers face significant workloads due to exposure to high temperatures, long working hours, and non-ergonomic postures, putting them at risk of fatigue, musculoskeletal disorders, heat stress, and chronic exhaustion. This study aims to summarize the latest findings on the impact of workloads on kitchen workers based on the six dimensions of NASA-TLX. The study design is a quantitative systematic review of the last five years through PubMed and Google Scholar, following the PRISMA guidelines for the selection process. A total of 11 articles met the inclusion criteria. The results show that physical workload, including prolonged standing, repetitive movements, and non-ergonomic postures, is significantly associated with musculoskeletal disorders, with a prevalence of 92.3%. Working hours exceeding 8 hours are linked to fatigue, increased presenteeism, and a decreased quality of life, while heat stress was reported as a major health concern. Support from coworkers was found to mitigate the impact of physical and psychosocial workload. In conclusion, improvements in ergonomics, work hours and shift arrangements, increased ventilation, and enhanced psychosocial support are necessary to mitigate health risks associated with excessive workloads among kitchen workers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for developing local-potential-based entrepreneurial credentials in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Palangka Raya City. The main issue raised is the mismatch between entrepreneurship learning in vocational schools and regional economic potential, which has not been systematically accommodated in the form of competency recognition or credentials. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey design of 265 respondents consisting of teachers, heads of expertise programs, and students from eight public and private vocational schools. The instrument was developed based on the Entrepreneurial Competence Framework (European Commission, 2016) and validated through expert judgment (CVR = 0.87; Cronbach's Alpha = 0.921). The results show that the level of need for entrepreneurial credentials is in the high to very high category (mean = 4.36), with the largest gaps in digital marketing and local-material-based production competencies. Factor analysis resulted in five main dimensions of need: entrepreneurial ideation, local production skills, digital marketing and innovation, microfinance management, and community collaboration, with a total variance of 79.5%. This finding confirms the need to develop a “glocal” entrepreneurial credential model, namely integrating global competencies with local wisdom values to encourage contextual entrepreneurship curriculum design and increase the competitiveness of vocational school graduates based on regional economic potential.

The Effect of Scientific Literacy-Based Problem Based Learning Model on Student Activeness and Learning Outcomes on Reaction Rate Material. Student participation and learning outcomes in the topic of reaction rates remain relatively low, which is presumed to result from the dominance of conventional teaching approaches such as lectures, question–answer sessions, and assignments. This study aimed to analyze the effect of a science literacy–based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students’ participation and learning outcomes in reaction rate material. The study employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design conducted at SMA Negeri 17 Medan. The sample consisted of 36 students in the experimental class who were taught using the science literacy–based PBL model and 35 students in the control class who received conventional instruction. The treatment was implemented over four meetings, each lasting 2 × 45 minutes. The results indicated that the average participation score of students in the experimental class was 85.38 ± 5.71, which was higher than that of the control class at 75.82 ± 4.99. The average learning outcomes in the experimental class increased from 45.14 to 84.31 ± 5.23, while those in the control class improved from 41.00 to 76.86 ± 6.31. A one-tailed t-test showed that the calculated values for student participation (7.49) and learning outcomes (5.42) were greater than the t-table value of 1.99, indicating a significant effect. The N-Gain analysis revealed a high category for the experimental class (0.7) and a moderate category for the control class (0.6). Correlation analysis also showed a positive relationship between participation and learning outcomes with a contribution of 48.58%. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the science literacy–based PBL model in improving student participation and learning outcomes in reaction rate learning.
