Abstract

During pregnancy, the mother may have a different experience based on many factors. The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of pregnant women in Indonesia. Some studies establish to explore experience during pregnancy in a particular area. However, limit number study underlined the experience in the general area. A descriptive phenomenological study was used to explore the experience of pregnant women during pregnancy. Purposive sampling, one-on-one, in-depth with semi-structural interviews were conducted to collect data. Narratives were analyzed by Colaizzi’s (1978) seven-step method. Data saturation was achieved after interviewing 3 pregnant women. Four themes and the sub-themes were : having feelings (happy for pregnancy coming true and worry about cannot have vaginal delivery), changes in physical condition (evening sickness, appetite changes, difficult sleep, and eating pattern have to change), deal with pregnant physical condition (lying down when vomiting and changing the meals time), ensure pregnancy safety (seeking help from husband, continuous monitoring of fetal head’s position, pay attention to changes in body weight, and pay attention to the data of hemoglobin). This finding presents the evidence for midwives to the importance of understanding the feeling and experience of the mother during pregnancy. Support and attention consider important for mother who experiences CS history and Placenta Previa in the current pregnancy.

This study aimed to develop strategy to strengthen the implementation of strategic plan in hospital. Methods: The type of the study is an in-depth study using secondary data. Data were obtained from online databases, including Global Health, Medline ovid, Pubmed, NCBI,HMIC, and World Health Organization databases , and also grey literature sources.Result: There are several strategies plan can be considered to be developed as an effort to strengthen strategic plan of HUH which are mobilize all stakeholders to gather in meeting regarding the issue of changing the strategic plan implementation in teaching hospital; creating guideline of strategic plan implementation; redesign Hospital information system as Strategic Information System; and Training of Planning Skill. Conclusion and recommendation: The best strategies to strengthen the HUH plan are establishing the guideline for implementing strategic plan, linking the strategic plan into operational plan, and developing Strategic Information System (SIS). International experience also has been examined to show the various countries that have been successful to adopt those strategies. Based on that analysis, the following recommendations are explained below

Abstract

WHO data in 2016 estimated that 36.7 million people suffered from HIV globally, and 34.5 million among them were adults. Yogyakarta Special Province in 2016 found that there were 2,954 cases of HIV with the highest cases in Sleman Regency as many as 868 cases. Mlati I Primary Health Center was a Primary Health Center with the lowest coverage of HIV testing for pregnant women, namely in 2017 there were 752 pregnant women, and only 414 (55.05%) were tested for HIV. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perceptions of integrated antenatal care quality service and the participation of HIV testing of pregnant women. The study applied cross sectional research method. The population in this study were pregnant women who performed ANC examinations at Mlati I Primary Health Center in September - November 2018 with a total of 318 pregnant women. The samples in the study were 154 with the simple random sampling technique. The instrument of data collection in this study used a questionnaire. Data analysis employed chi Square and logistic regression. The results of bivariate statistical tests using chi square showed that sig value = 0.000 0.05 with OR 13.896 meaning that women who had a good perception of the quality of ANC services had 13.896 higher chance to have HIV tests compared to those who had poor perceptions of the quality of integrated ANC services . Good perception of the quality of integrated ANC services for pregnant women had a greater chance of taking an HIV test.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS cases in Indonesia are still high including the infection from mothers to the babies. Infection cases from mothers to babies in Yogyakarta Special Province is also found on babies. The preliminary study also obtained the result that in 2015 not all of the pregnant women who were willing to have VCT (Voluntary Counseling and Testing) in Sleman Regency working area. The data of VCT  in Prambanan Primary Health Center also shows that the prevalence rate of VCT check as a preventive effort was still low. The research is aimed at investigating the correlation between midwife’s support and VCT on pregnant women in Prambanan Primary Health Center in 2016. The study employed observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population of the study was all mothers who did pregnancy examination and got counseling VCT service. The samples used accidental sampling technique. Data analysis used chi-square with the trustworthy rate 95%. The result of the study showed that there was no correlation between midwife and VCT on pregnant women. It can happen because of the midwife as a professional attendant could not attend the pregnant women full time. It can be concluded that there was no correlation between midwife’s support and VCT on pregnant women in Prambanan Primary Health Center in 2016. It is expected that midwives can identify the problem in VCT on pregnant women by giving emotional and respect support to the patients as well as the families.

Abstract

Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) is a major cause of death and disability worldwide. In spite of the advance of many other diagnostic techniques of biomarkers and imaging, the 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) remains the gold standard for early identification and management of ACS. The aim of this study was to determine the HCPs interpretation skills on 12 lead ECG especially in Myocardial Infarction cases. Primary research of ECG interpretation skill of HCPs and related factors were identified by searching electronic databases and bibliographies. Sixteen articles were identified based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Variations were found on ECG interpretations among HCPs. Moreover it was found that training, experience seniority and AMI mimicking pattern influence ECG interpretation skills among HCPs and decision making for thrombolytic therapy.
