Abstract

This research aims to build a geographic information system that can map the level of flood-prone areas around Sub-DAS Bengkulu. To determine the flood prone areas are used four (4) parameters i.e. riverbank, high ground class, rainfall and settlement using Simple Additive Weighting method and using Trend Non Linier forecasting method. The resulting outer area of the flood map is calculated from The Simple Additive weightingmethod. For five (5) years, from 2014 – 2018 there are 267 data entering intermediate clustering , 477 of data entering low clustering and the latter there are 35 data that enters high clustering . In addition, there is also an external result of prediction Chart of the highest Trend Non Linier in 2021 of 2.3809, in 2022 for 3.14841, in 2023 for 4.04413, in 2024 for 5.06803, and in 2025 for 6.22014.

Abstract

Election Chairman of HIMANIFO has obstacles namely the lack of students participation in the voting because they can not attend in the election, while the voting is done using paper media. Due the problems the author proposes to design and build a system of Android-based E-Voting for the election of Chairman and Deputy Chairman of HIMANIFO. The application is built using the Unified Approach development method. Applications that produced a website and Android, the web will help administrators to manage students and chairman candidate data, and receive incoming voice. Android app helps students to conduct voting. The purpose of this system is to make it easier for students to carry out the voting process and for students to participate in voting. The results of this study provide convenience in the election of students. Sudents can vote anywhere and can save paper.

Abstract

At present many of the clients connected in EFTENET still experience problems in delays in sending data when accessing data communication services. Therefore, a study was conducted to look at the performance of EFTENET's outdoor wireless services with the Quality of service method. The parameters used to measure are bandwidth, delay, packet lost and jitter which are then compared with the standardization version of Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Network. From the results of the study concluded that outdoor wireless networks EFTENET has the category of "GOOD" degradation in the parameters of bandwidth, delay, jitter and geographical conditions between the transmitter and client. Data transmission delay occurs because the value of packet lost has the value of the "MEDIUM" degradation category. The value of packet lost is affected by a fairly high noise condition between the transmitter point and receiver so that the transmitted data is not received optimaly.

Abstract

Psychological tests can determine the characteristics of behavior, personality, attitudes, interests, motivation, attention, perceptions, thinking power, intelligence, fantasies of students. MTs N Kaliangkrik routinely conducts tests for the selection of majors on its students assisted by Pelita Harapan Bangsa Magelang. In the implementation of the test for students at MTs N Kaliangkrik, processing and calculating the score still used Ms. Excel which requires extra time to recap and know the test results and the school needs to recap the existing results. The system developed applies data mining using the C4.5 Algorithm to predict the selection of majors. The test that is used as system input is the grade IX test score of MTs N Kaliangkrik which includes verbal, non-verbal, general intelligence, language knowledge, definite knowledge, general knowledge, and qualitative power tests. The accuracy of the similarity in the system reaches 80% (good) so that the system is suitable for use as a prediction tool for selecting majors in other schools.

Abstract

Electricity consumption in Indonesia continues to increase by an average of 6.8% per year. IoT in 4.0 industry can be used to help community in reducing energy consumtion, including electricity, by implementing smart home sensor and actuator in IoT can be used to control the electricity consumtion automatically. This research has an objective to design and apply smart home that can reduce the electricity consumtion. The Smart Home device is an Arduino ESP8266 NodeMCU microcontroller equipped with a PIR sensor, DHT11 sensor and relay. This system is connected to the website as a controlling system. The smart home can also reduce power usage on street light by 7,524.91 watts (59.72%), living room light by 1,500 watts (50%), kitchen light by 2699,94 watts (75 )%), the main room lamp is 1259.98 watts (50%). Smart home system with a timer for one month can reduce power usage by 12,984.83 watts (12.01%) and can reduce the cost of using electrical devices by Rp. 16,881 (12.01%).
