Abstract

In the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) method of language education that needs of the learner are given priority. The purpose of ESP is to increase the relevance of English language instruction to student requirements. ESP is a specific educational technique to accomplish this. This research focuses on specific subjects of the English for Business Study Program aiming to equip students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the ESP class. Based on the results and qualitative analysis of 30 participants in the study who obtained the ESP program to learn English by using qualitative descriptive. Furthermore, this research uses descriptive qualitative method analysis by presenting data through questionnaire and observations. The study investigates how students respond about the use of technology in the classroom. In this case, it will provide useful subjects and activities that will enable students to learn more and improve their English for educational purposes. The study findings represent that student was extremely positive assessments of the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in English teaching learning, and their participation in the ESP learning environment. It provided tremendous topics and activities which make both teachers and students enrich their knowledge and develop their English skills in educational purposes.

Abstract

Since COVID-19 was declared as a pandemic, there have been major changes at the airports which can affect passenger satisfaction on service quality. This study examined key drivers of passenger satisfaction before and during the COVID-19 pandemic based on the airport service quality framework by Airport Council International (ACI) and the moderating effect of passenger purpose of travel on relationship between airport service quality and passenger satisfaction. The population was domestic flight passengers who departed through Adi Soemarmo International Airport on the period of May 2018 – December 2021. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM Multi Group Analysis. The result showed that airport environment and airport facilities were the key drivers of passenger’s satisfaction for both of group, while security is key driver only for passenger during pandemic and find your way for passenger before pandemic only. This study also show that purpose of travel is moderating the effect on passenger satisfaction of airport environment and facilities on passenger before pandemic and security on passenger during pandemic.

Abstract

The information technology product security certification policy in Indonesia is implemented based on BSSN Regulation 15 of 2019 concerning the Indonesian Common Criteria Scheme (SCCI). The products used in data processing should be certified for its security to guarantee information security. However, almost three years since the regulation was implemented, effect on information security has not been achieved. The focus of this study is to analyse the influence of the implementation of information technology product security certification policy on the effectiveness of information security assurance in Indonesia. Policy implementation was analysed using the theory of Edward III. Edward III's policy implementation model consists of 4 variables: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Effectiveness consists of 3 variables: goal achievement, adaptation, and integration. This study used the mixed-method approach. The findings showed that simultaneously communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure have a significant effect and very strong correlation on effectiveness. From these results, it can be recommended to develop a policy communication strategy that is more effective in providing information to the public, make a timeframe and concrete target for resources variable, establish communication, coordination, and consensus with the public and private sectors to achieve a willingness and commitment to implement an IT product security certification policy, and set a timeframe and concrete targets regarding the formation of an organization that has the duties, functions and authority of IT product security certification, business processes and organizational implementation procedures.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai tingkat stres pada siswa ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan analisis, serta kajian validitas dan reliabilitas dari instrumen DASS-42. Survei mengenai tingkat stres ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data dari responden siswa/i pada SMP Teach Indonesia School Jakarta Utara sebanyak 23 responden. Tingkat stres dari siswa dihitung berdasarkan skala Likert 0-3, yaitu skala skor 3 untuk sangat sesuai, skor 2 untuk sering, skor 1 untuk sesuai, dan skor 0 untuk tidak sesuai. Pada akhir penelitian ini, peneliti mampu menunjukkan validitas dan reliabilitas dari instrumen DASS-42, sebagai alat ukur untuk mengukur tingkat stres pada siswa. Manfaat dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah dapat memberikan gambaran informasi tingkat stres pada murid selama masa pembelajaran jarak jauh, juga mengetahui indikator apa yang dapat menunjukkan adanya stres pada siswa

Abstract

Lembang Bua' Tarrung is one of the Lembang in the District Rembon Tana Toraja Regency and has 4 hamlets , namely Merrara Hamlet , Buttu Hamlet , Karappa ' Lebusan Hamlet, and Lebani ' Tiroallo Hamlet . Lembang Bua' Tarrung is area hills and have cool climate . _ In the area this , number growth population Keep going increase every year so that the need for clean water will also Keep going increase . In Buttu Hamlet there is a reservoir building serving community water needs with a volume of 12.5 m3 and distributed with 50 mm (2 in ) diameter PVC pipe , will but the available water in this reservoir not yet distributed by equally to all society , so study this aim for knowing capacity adequate reservoir and pipe size as channel distribution of clean water in Lembang Bua' Tarrung. Method in study this is method quantitative with count maximum water requirement in order to determine capacity reservoir building and water demand at peak hours for determine pipe size as channel clean water distribution. Research results show that capacity reservoir building 25% of maximum water requirement , which is 32.4 m3 with dimensions of 3.6 m × 3 m × 3 m. Distribution pipe with a diameter of 3 inches HDPE type . 8 hydrants general dotted service with each with a capacity of 23.1 m3.
