Abstract

Sweet corn is an agricultural commodity that has potential value and is very popular with the community. This study aims to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer and plant growth regulator (ZPT) dosage on the growth and production of sweet corn, the study was conducted in June-August 2017 in Jiken Village, Tulan- gan Sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency and Agricultural Laboratory of Agrochemical Faculty of Agriculture Muhammadyah Sidoarjo University. The experiment was arranged facto- rially by using Group Randomized Block Design (RAK) which was repeated three times. The first factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer, which includes 250 kg/ha, 300 kg/ha, and 350 kg/ha. The second factor is the dose of Atonic ZPT, which includes 0 L/ha (con- trol), 1 L/ha, dan 2 L/ha. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, weight of cob weighted per plant, weight of sterile per plant, length of cob, and diameter of cob. The result of the research showed that there was interaction effect between the treatment of NPK fertilizer dosage and the dosage of ZPT Atonik on high observation variable and the number of leaves age 39 HST, and the weight of wet stover. The dosage of NPK fertilizer showed significant effect on plant height, leaf num- ber, stem diameter, weight of cob weighted per plant, cob diameter, ear length, and wet stalk weight. The dose of ZPT showed a significant effect on vegetative growth that is of leaf number, stem diameter, cob diameter, and weight of wet stover.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquid compound fertilizer and pruning of shoots on the growth and yield of cherry tomato plants. This research was conducted at green house of Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo from June to September 2017. This research was conducted usingfactorial ofComprehensive Random Design (CRD) and fur- ther test using BNJ test (difference real honest). The first factor was the concentration of liquid compound fertilizer consisting of 4 levels are 0%, 2%, 3% and 4%, while the second factor is pruning of buds that it consist of 2 levels, without pruning and pruning of bud. Based on the observations, there was a significant interaction between concentration of liquid compound fertilizer and pruning of budsto the heightof 28 Days After Planting and 42 Days After Planting plants, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, wet weight per plant and dry weight per plant, while on stem diameter and harvest index observation have no significant effect. The highest yield on the use of concentration of 4% compound liquid fertilizer and without pruning showed 131,33 cm of height , number of fruit per plant 10,00 pieces, weight of fruit per plant 77,73 gram , and wet weight per plant 149,98 gram.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of growth and production of red onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) on the treatment of the number of tubers and chicken manure. This research was conducted at Green House Faculty of Agriculture University of Muham- madiyah Sidoarjo in May to July 2017. The design used factorial RAK and BNJ advanced test. The first factor is the number of tubers consists of 3 levels, namely the number of tubers per planting hole consisting of 1, 2 and 3, while the second factor is the dosage of chicken manure consisting of 3 levels ie 15 tons / ha, 20 tons / ha and 25 tons / ha. Based on the results of research conducted that there is a real interaction between the treatment of chicken manure dosage and the number of tubers per planting hole to vari- able number of tubers per hill, the number of tuber planting hole showed a significant effect on tuber weight and dry weight of tuber. The best treatment was chicken manure 20 ton / ha and 3 tuber per planting hole yielding plant length 43,94 cm, number of tiller per hill 18,00 tillers, number of tubers per hill 18,33 bulb, tuber dry weight 13,98 gr, wet weight of tuber 28,33 gr and tuber volume 26,67 ml.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of system of rice intensificstion (SRI) method with cropping and legowo planting model and the use of number of seeds per planting hole to productivity of IR-64 varieties. This research was conducted in Kedanten ham- let, Wonokoyo, Beji Sub-district, Pasuruan Regency which took place in March 2017 until June 2017. This research was conducted using Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) and advanced test using DMRT test at 5% confidence level. The first factor is planting model which consist of 2 level that is planting model of tegel and legowo plant- ing model, while the second factor is the use of the number of seeds per planting hole consisting of 3 levels ie 1 seed, 2 seeds and 3 seeds. Based on the observation that there is no interaction between planting model and the number of seedlings per planting hole, but in the treatment of planting model has a very significant effect on rice productivity of IR-64 variety. The best treatment is the use of legowo planting model with 2 seeds per planting hole which produce an average of 8.61 tons / ha.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is, to determine the effect of the Natural Growth Regulatory Agent on the growth and production Okra. This research was conducted in April-July 2017 in Waung Village, Krembung Sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency. This experiment was conducted by single factor experiment which was arranged in a randomized block design with 3 replications with 6 treatment doses of 50 gram / liter, 100 gram / liter, 150 gram / liter, 200gram / liter, and 250 gram / liter. The data obtained from this study were analyzed statistically by using the analysis of variance (ANOVA), if from the analysis of variance there are results that show the real difference, it will be tested further by using the comparison test of Real Beda Jujur (BNJ) with the level of 5% and continued with regression and correlation to determine the influence of factor and variable relationships in the perusal. The results obtained show that in the parame- ters of Plant High, Number of Branches, Diameter, Weight of Wet Fruit and Dry Weight of Fruit there is a real difference. At a dose of 250gram / liter concentration yielding 0.25 M has the best result.vc
