Abstract

An initial survey in Patangkai Village found that the use of gadgets by elementary school age children was not too worrying. This shows that the use of gadgets has been used by students at the school. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge and abilities of children in partner environments in knowing the impact of using gadgets. Increasing elementary school age knowledge in an era of technology that is so rapidly used. This service activity is carried out by delivering material to them at their respective schools. The results of service activities are: 1). Participants already know the negative impacts of using gadgets excessively and without supervision from parents or the school. The impact that will be felt is not only on them but also on the family environment. 2). The positive impact of using gadgets is very useful for education and developing their knowledge about the outside world. As a result of this socialization, participants are ready to use gadgets positively and can filter out those that could have a negative impact on them. Kata Kunci : Gadget, School, Student

Abstract

Family welfare is very important in family life. The urgency in this community service is that family welfare will have a major impact on all aspects of life, such as family nutritional needs, economy, education, social, and other aspects. To ensure family welfare, various efforts are needed in accordance with the expertise of each individual who plays a role in a family. The purpose of the Community Service Activity is to provide Socialisation of Productive Business Management for MSMEs in Sempajaya Village, Karo Regency. The method of implementing the activity consists of three stages. First, the preparation stage includes pre-survey, team formation, PKM team coordination and village. The second stage is the program implementation stage in the form of socialisation. Socialisation was carried out through counselling (presentation of material) and discussion. The third stage is the evaluation and reporting stage. The evaluation was conducted by comparing the conditions of MSME actors before and after the implementation of the programme using interview and observation methods.

Menengah atau UMKM dan Usaha Rumahan lainnya. Sejatinya perizinan yang di urus bersifat sama, namun yang membedakan adalah jenis perizinan atas jenis UMKM dan usaha rumahan yang didirikan. Sehingga kita akan dapat membedakan surat- surat tersebut dan jenis serta tujuan pembuatannya. Sedangkan dalam perekonomian Indonesia, usaha kecil UMKM dan usaha rumahan ternyata termasuk penyumbang pergerakan dan kenaikan ekonomi yang cukup penting. Ini mengingat karena kelompok usaha ini memiliki jumlah yang paling besar dibandingkan dengan perusahaan besar. Selain itu, kelompok usaha kecil ini terbukti telah tahan menghadapi berbagai krisis dan masalah ekonomi yang naik turun tidak menentu. Oleh karena itu penggiat UMKM ingin merangkul semua pengusaha kecil dari seluruh pelosok dan melibatkan lebih banyak segala jenis usaha yang mungkin luput dari bantuan. Jadi tidak mengherankan kalau kita terkadang melihat kelompok UMKM juga mengadakan bazaar, expo atau pameran untuk mengenalkan produk- produk mereka. Abstract

The aim of the socialization of healthy heart exercise in an effort to improve community fitness and health in Doulu Village, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province is to improve community health through heart exercise and improve social relations within the community. public. The method used in this activity is a customized socialization method that is tailored to the situation analysis and needs of the target audience. Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is people's constant desire to achieve life. It is necessary to carry out activities that encourage people to choose a healthy lifestyle. One way to maintain environmental cleanliness is through socializing environmental cleanliness with discussions located in Doulu Village, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province. Activities in the PKM include socializing the importance of keeping the surrounding environment clean and physical fitness training. The aim of implementing this cleanliness outreach program is motivated by the local community's lack of awareness in disposing of waste properly and also maintaining health. The method used is to conduct interviews with local communities to identify the main problems in the area. As a result, the people around Doulu Village, Karo Regency are increasingly aware of implementing clean and healthy living habits and being able to differentiate between types of waste, as well as maintaining physical fitness through healthy exercise.

Using social media as a marketing medium can be done by uploading photos to social media accounts such as Instagram and then they can be seen by consumers who follow the Instagram account. Do a more in-depth filter first, don't immediately accept the information at face value. The virtual world is very fast, in just a fraction of a second, the information has reached and been read by many people. 71 percent of internet use is among children and teenagers, for this reason supervision is needed from parents and the immediate environment. Parents are also expected to supervise their children and must also have knowledge about the bad effects of social media. Later, open discussions will also need to be held to build ethics in order to create healthy behavior for children in using the internet. Social media seems to have become an addiction for society, especially teenagers. Today's teenagers are synonymous with gadgets that they use almost 24 hours a day. Abstract

This study addresses the significance of reading in human life, emphasizing its role in acquiring knowledge, information, and entertainment. Reading is a communicative process used by individuals to convey messages and communicate meanings. The benefits of reading include enhancing knowledge, developing critical thinking, improving brain memory, and fostering understanding. The school library is crucial in supporting the learning process by providing diverse information sources and promoting collaboration among students. Establishing reading corners or libraries within schools is an initiative to support the government's mandatory reading movement. The proposed solution, WACANA program, focuses on creating comfortable and attractive reading spaces to enhance students' reading interest. The program not only aims to establish reading corners but also provides sustainable reading facilities. This initiative targets schools lacking reading corners or libraries, with the primary goal of improving reading quality and knowledge acquisition among students. The program is set to be implemented over one month in MTs Darut Tauhid, Torjun District, Sampang Regency. The method involves several stages: preparation, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. Activities include identifying and selecting the educational institution, program socialization, decoration planning, reading corner renovation, and the official launching of the reading corner. The main targets are increased reading interest, enhanced literacy skills, and improved education quality.

Abstract

Students' health problems can worsen due to lack of exercise, causing the body to become stressed and appear unfit. Exercise, both directly and indirectly, is very beneficial for overall health. Exercise is also a physical activity that can be used as part of a healthy lifestyle to improve body health and support several daily tasks. However, many people still underestimate the need to exercise every day to maintain physical and mental health. Thus, based on this scenario, individuals really need information about healthy living through sports and health education in order to meet healthy and healthy living standards. The aim of holding sports and health education at SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe through community service is to provide information and knowledge to the public about healthy lifestyles through sports and public health education which can provide benefits for the body. The results of this service show that students are very enthusiastic about participating in the event from start to finish.
