Abstract

Marketing is an important factor in the development of the business. Marketing must be continually upgraded and refurbished, of course it’s not be separated from the needs and desires of consumers. So dynamic or uncertainty in knowing the consumer desires, so in this case required every business must always be able to make changes such as product quality, price, promotion and place on purchase decisions Dari Rumah Coffee, Batam. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of product quality, price, promotion and place on purchase decisions Dari Rumah Coffee, Batam. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The study population of 216 consumers and samples used by 140 respondents. Research shows that the Product Quality, Price and Place partially significant effect on the Product Buying Decision. While Price partially not significant effect on the Product Buying Decision. Simultaneously Product Quality, Price, Promotion and Place have significant effect on the Product Buying Decision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the effect of Self-Control, Self-Concept, and Lifestyle on Consumptive Behavior in Online Shopping at Batam University students. The method applied in this study is the quantitative method. The population in this study was students of Batam University with a total of 2,814 students at 2022. The sample of this study was 97 respondents. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire which was tested for Validity and Reliability. The data analysis technique of this study uses Multiple Linear Regression, Classical Assumption Test, Hypothesis Test (t Test and F Test), and Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this study used the SPSS Software version 25 program. The results of this study show that Self-Control has a positive and significant effect on Consumptive Behavior in online shopping for Batam University students with a probability value of 0.46 < 0.05. Self-Concept has a positive and insignificant effect on Consumptive Behavior in online shopping in Batam University students with a probability value of 0.138 > 0.05. Lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on Consumptive Behavior in online shopping for Batam University students with a probability value of 0.013 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination of 20.9% shows the contribution of Self-Control, Self-Concept, and Lifestyle to Consumptive Behavior in online shopping and the remaining 79.1% are explained by others relevant

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of motivation, work discipline and compensation on employee performance at the Research and Development Planning Agency (Baperlitbang) Karimun Regency. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 40 employees at the Research and Development Planning Agency (Baperlitbang) Karimun Regency. The analysis in this study uses the SPSS version 24 program. The data testing technique used is validation test and reliability test with Cronbach Alpha. Classical assumption tests and multiple regression analyses were conducted to test and prove the research hypothesis. The results of the analysis prove that the influence of motivation (X1) has a negative effect on employee performance with a t-count of -0,692 and a insignificant value of 0.493 greater than 0.05. There is a positive and significant effect between work discipline (X2) on employee performance with a t value of 7.784 and a significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. There is a positive and insignificant effect on compensation (X3) on employee performance with a t-count value of 0.301 and an insignificant value of 0.765 greater than 0.05. Simultaneously the influence of motivation, work discipline and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated F value of 54.625 and a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05. It can be concluded that motivation has no positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and compensation has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Taken together, the effect of motivation, work discipline and compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that employee performance is influenced by the influence of motivation, work discipline and compensation of 0.820 (82,0%), while the remaining 18% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence competence, communication and work stress have on employee performance. Employee performance works as the dependent variable in this study, while competence, communication and work stress are variables that function as independent variables. This study uses 100 respondents who can be divided by gender and can be divided into two (2) groups, namely: male sex as many as 66 people (60%) and female sex as many as 34 people (34%). This study uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire method. Data analysis used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The results showed that there was a significant influence between competence and communication on the performance of employees of PT. Citra Shiyard's and the non-significant effect of work stress on employee performance at PT. Citra Shipyard. It can be said that the second variable has a strong influence on improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Online Customer Review, Online Customer Rating dan Price in Tokopedia on Purchase Intention either partially or simultaneously. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sample selection used purposive sampling, amounting to 125 respondents. The data analysis technique used is classic assumption test, multiple linear regression, dan hypothesis test. Based on the research results obtained: 1) Online Customer Review has positive dan significant relationship in Tokopedia on Purchase Intention used t-test. 2) Online Customer Rating has positive dan significant relationship in Tokopedia on Purchase Intention used t-test. 3) Price has positive but not significant relationship in Tokopedia on Purchase Intention used t-test. 4) Online Customer Review, Online Customer Rating dan Price simultaneously have a positive and significant relationship in Tokopedia on Purchase Intention used F-test

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work stress, work environment and workloads on employee’s performance partially and simultaneously. The population in this study were employees of PT. Inline Flow Specialty as many as 52 employees. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires and analyzing the data obtained using quantitative data analysis. Quantitative analysis includes: Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Hypothesis testing through t test and F test, and coefficient of determination (R2), Data processing with the help of SPSS 21 Software. The data that have met the validity, reliability and classical assumption test from the results of multiple linear regression test obtained by the following equation: Y = 19,439+ (-0.244X1)+0.834X2+0.102X3+e From the results of the t test (partial) it shows that work stress has a significant effect on performance, work environment has a significant effect on performance, and workloads has no significant effect on performance and simultaneously work stress, work environment and workloads have a significant effecton Performance. The results of the coefficient of determination test (R2) are known that 24.6% of the variation in performance can be explained by the variables of Work Stress, Work Environment and Workloads. While the remaining 75.4% (100% - 24.6%) was applied by other variables that were not proposed in this study.

Abstract

The Port Business Entity is one of the port management business units in Batam which is special because it is not managed directly by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, but is managed by the Batam Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Agency. The output of BUP is port services. anchoring service activities in the form of dock mooring services, water services, loading and unloading services, rental services for stacking/warehouse areas, scout and tug services, and finally through put services (especially at the Kabil liquid bulk port). As one of the business units managed by the Batam Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Board, employees are required to report all activities carried out to the Batam Free Trade and Free Port Concession Board. Before the activity report is submitted to the Batam Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Board, the personnel section is obliged to control its employees for the success of the realization of work targets such as the provision and service of port services. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture, work environment and leadership style on the performance of Batam Port Business Entity Office employees, either partially or simultaneously. The research method used is quantitative and qualitative methods based on primary in the form of questionnaires and secondary data from agencies. The number of samples in this study were 104 respondents who were employees of the Batam Port business entity office. The data analysis technique was carried out by multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS statistical tools. The results of the study found that organizational culture had a significant partial effect on employee performance. The work environment has no significant effect partially on employee performance. Leadership style partially significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture, work environment and leadership style simultaneously have a significant effect on performance.
