PUSTAKALOKA: Jurnal Kajian Informasi & Perpustakaan is a peer-reviewed journal taken from the library of IAIN Ponorogo on Information and Library Science. PUSTAKALOKA is published twice annually (June and December) by the journal editors from the Library IAIN Ponorogo in cooperation with the Asosiasi Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Islam (APPTIS) Jawa Timur. Every received article will be reviewed by the journal editors and external editors and reviewers who are competent in each related field. The review uses double-blind peer review before the journal is published. PUSTAKALOKA will publish selected paper under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the formation of the content creator division (Librarian) in the UMY Library, what steps are taken to develop the creativity of content creator librarians and the content that has been produced to support digital service innovation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results show that the efforts made at the UMY library in order to develop librarian creativity include; through the implementation of video editing workshops, workshops on using Canva, participating in library promotion training, participating in webinars with similar topics. The librarian's innovative products in creating digital content include various videos, podcasts, website creation for Indonesian librarian organizations, TikTok content, Instagram, Youtube and other social media services. The variety of products produced proves that UMY librarians are able to innovate in line with the needs and developments of the times through developing the competence of librarians as content creators.

Abstract

This research’s objective is to explains what impact libraries without walls have in library service and role of librarian. The research is qualitative research with literature study as the method. The results of the study revealed that several distance services emerged such as digital collection services, online collection searches, online webinars, dissemination of information and library news through social media and special services owned by certain libraries such as independent uploading for scientific works by users services and online plagiarism check services as well as the role of librarians in the concept of libraries without walls such as conventional roles, educators and influencers to increase literacy, technical librarians, and embedded librarians.

Abstract

User perception is the argument given by the user from the results of observations and visions in the library, then analyzed according to the assumptions of each user of positive or negative perceptions of the librarian's skills in carrying out the process of searching for information sources in the library. The method used is qualitative with participatory objective observation on a social phenomenon that occurs in the library. The results of the study explain that the perception of users on the skills of librarians in searching for information sources at the library of the State Islamic Institute of Religion (IAIN) Batusangkar shows a negative perception of the skills of librarians in searching for information sources that suit the needs of users. The conclusion is that librarians must improve their Hard Skills and Soft Skills in tracing information sources.

Abstract

The abundance of collections in the College Library is not always proportional to the level of adequacy of the reference needs of its users. To make this happen, UAD Library held activities to identify the availability of MKI and MKTP references. The purpose of this study is to identify collections based on the RPS reference of the Communication Science Study Program and analyze the factors that influence it. This research is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. The data of this study were obtained from references in the RPS of the Communication Science Study Program. Data collection techniques using the method of documentation, observation and interviews. While the data analysis technique using the checklist method. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the availability of reference collections for the Communication Studies Study Program for MKI is included in the less fulfilling category by 58%. Meanwhile, MKTP is included in the category of sufficient to meet 71%. Findings that have not reached the 80% collection availability standard are due to several factors, such as old books that are hard to find or books that are no longer published. Meanwhile, to meet the needs of users, UAD Library held a reference with a similar theme. The percentage of collection availability has not been maximized because there is no detailed communication with Study Program regarding new references that can be added to the RPS which will create continuity between the books needed through the references listed in the RPS and the books provided in the UAD Library.

Abstract

Mengkaji penelitian terdahulu bertujuan untuk menjajaki sumber-sumber tertulis yang relevan dengan permasalahan penelitian agar tidak terjadi plagiasi dan menemukan permasalahan yang baru dan berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya. Tujuan kajian ini adalah mengidentifikasi peta penelitian pada bidang kajian menulis karya ilmiah. Terdapat 91 artikel jurnal nasional yang berhubungan dengan bidang menulis karya ilmiah yang dikaji. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan 4 tahapan yaitu identifikasi, penyaringan, uji kelayakan, dan analisis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) terdapat 17 klaster yang terbentuk berdasarkan kata kunci penelitian dan sebagain besar terhubung antara satu dan yang lainnya; (2) tren kata kunci dalam bidang menulis karya ilmiah adalah yang terkait dengan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam menulis karya ilmiah untuk kebutuhan sitasi, manajemen referensi, hingga publikasi. Ketiga, topik penelitian  pengembangan, tingkat stress, bahan ajar, fgr service, analisis kesalahan berbahasa, dan kendala menulis menjadi topik yang masih jarang dikaji sehingga memungkinkan untuk dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut.

Scholarly communication occurs fundamentally in college environment. Aim research is knowing how to role of library in scholarly communication which happened in college environment. This research using descriptive methods with qualitative approach, data collection with documentation technique. Libraries are expected gain further role about scholarly communication. This research intended for academic libraries, to be more understanding about their perspective role in scholarly communication.

Abstract

Information search activities are things that are usually done by students in meeting information needs. Twitter is one of the social media that can be used as an information search engine. In Indonesia, there has been a phenomenon of using automatic fanbase (autobase) twitter which is used as one of the information search media by students, namely autobase twitter @collegemenfess. Through the @collegemenfess autobase media network, there can be an exchange of information and knowledge that can support Personal Knowledge Management. The purpose of this study is to examine how personal knowledge management is on followers of the @collegemenfess autobase account. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach to 100 respondents who are followers and users of the @collegemenfess autobase account. The results of this study are that there is a very good category of assessment in the aspect of Personal Knowledge Management ability which includes the ability to retrieve information and analyze information and in a good category in the aspect of the ability to evaluate or assess information and organize information. Meanwhile, in presenting information, respondents tend to be more adept at presenting information in written than verbal.
