Abstract

This study sought to model the structural equation of performance evaluation of Judo and Kurash Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran using the BSC approach. This was a descriptive and field-based research. The statistical population consisted of the members, managers, referees, veterans, and experts of the Judo and Kurash Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Purposive sampling technique was used to select the study sample. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. The content validity of the questionnaire wasapproved by experts. The reliability was calculated as 0.96 running Cronbach's alpha coefficient. In order to analysethe data and model the structural equation, PLS software was applied. Performance evaluation model of Judo and Kurash Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran had four factors, 10 dimensions and40indicators, in a way, learning and development factor had 3dimensions and17indicators, internal processes had 3dimensions and 11 indicators, financial factor had 1 dimension and4indicators and customer and sport results had 3dimensions and7indicators. Internal operating processes, customer and sporting results, learning and development and finance were the most important factors, respectively.According to the results, to evaluate their performance, Judo and Kurash Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran should consider four perspectives of BSC because these dimensions have cause and effect relationship with each other. Also, the federation should consider the dimensions and examined indexes of the current study if it seeks to plan and manage performance evaluation in order to provide the required backgrounds for development. Keywords: Performance Evaluation, Judo and Kurash Federation, balanced scorecard.

Abstract

School mosques, as places where the science and worship are blended, have a particular position in Safavid era Isfahan’s style of architecture; and, the study and recognition of such places is of a great importance in terms of their associated architectural structure and decorations. Among these, Aligholi Agha School-Mosque as the most important building in Aligholi Agha urban collection should be recounted as one of the aforementioned buildings featuring prominent points regarding the structure and decoration which is the significant theme dealt with in the format of the current research paper. Thus, the most important question raised herein is that what are Aligholi Agha school mosque characteristic architectural structure and decoration features? The present study is based on a descriptive-analytical method and the information has been collected based on field observations and library research. Also, the findings have been analyzed based on quantitative methods. The results of the current study confirm that Aligholi Agha blended structure, while being small in its dimensions, encompasses distinct decorations and inscriptions turning it into a tiny treasure of the Safavid Era treasure. Among the most important of these decorations and ornamentations are the embossed tiles embedded with geometrical and plant-like carvings on the façade and the sceneries bestowed upon the interior spaces. Also, there are diverse inscriptions made via seven-color techniques and mosaic and stone carvings by taking advantage of buildings’ Kufi style of writing and Nasta’alygh calligraphy bearing contents such as the representation of Holy Quran’s Ayat and Hadith, compliments and praising king Sultan Hussein, information about the construction and an introduction on the personality of Aligholi Agha as the founder of the building. Keywords: Safavid era architecture, structure, decorations, Aligholi Agha school mosque

Abstract

The transaction volume behavior is closely related to the inhomogeneity of information among investors. Investors in financial markets are generally divided into two groups of informed and uninformed investors. To gain an abnormal return, informed investors make deals based on the confidential information of a security or the information they have and other market actors are lack of them. Uninformed investors, on the other hand, buy and sell stocks based on other reasons, including having liquidity. This carries with it the matter of unsecure choices according which uninformed investors are placed in an unpleasant condition. The leading question, thus, is that how the investors’ decisions, in the face of abnormal return and unexpected earnings, affect the unusual stock trading volume in the Tehran Stock Exchange. Given the research limitations, all companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange were sampled by the systematic elimination method (screening). The general purpose of this research is to study the effect of decisions made by venture capitalists on trading on the Tehran Stock Exchange. This is a practical research study, in terms of purpose, with an ex post facto design. Here, three hypotheses, including the effect of CGO investors on abnormal trading volume when companies’ financial information is disclosed, the correlation between unexpected earnings and trading volume and the abnormal return when companies’ financial information is disclosed, were assessed. Based on results, there is a positive and significant correlation between investors’ CGO and the abnormal trading volume when companies’ financial information is disclosed. Investors’ CGO has a strong impact on the relation between unexpected earnings and fluctuations in the stock prices and trading volume. There is a negative and significant correlation between investors’ CGO and the abnormal return when companies’ financial information is disclosed. Besides all factors affecting decision-making, investors check all overhangreturns. However, the stock returns have a trivial impact on this research. Keywords: Investors’ CGO, Unexpected Earnings, Abnormal Return, Trading Volume.
