Abstract

Introduction: The impact of anti-TB drugs has a huge load on the immune system, which often leads to the state of maladaptation. In this regard, it is necessary to develop new approaches to immunomodulation, which can be monitored in a laboratory by changes in concentration of ferroproteins of blood, lactoferrin and ferritin. In destructive forms of pulmonary tuberculosis, the level of lactoferrin and ferritin in blood decreases, and with the increase in their concentration, the condition of patients improves. Materials and Methods: The effect of immunomodulator trekrezan on the development of a toxicity level of anti-TB drugs was studied. The indicators of a toxicity level include: the increase in the total protein content, urea in blood serum, hemoglobin concentration, decrease in the number of red blood cells, increase in the number of leukocytes, lymphocytes, increasing activity of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase. We simultaneously examined the changes in the concentration of lactoferrin and ferritin. We studied 6 groups of patients with a diagnosis of Cavernous lung tuberculosis. Results: In the group which took only basic medication + trekrezan + pyridoxine (2 courses), the best positive changes were registered at the end of the course of chemotherapy. All the above-mentioned laboratory indicators were in the normal range. After one month of the treatment, lactoferrin increased by more than 10 times, and the concentration of ferritin increased significantly, with its subsequent normalization. Discussion: It is claimed that the higher the concentration of lactoferrin and ferritin, the stronger the body’s defenses, and the double course of trekrezan and pyridoxine extremely minimizes the toxicity of chemotherapy. Keywords: lactoferrin, ferritin, trekrezan, toxicity, immunity.

Abstract

Introduction: The paper deals with the genesis of the notion of “potential”, offers a vector-contextual model of person’s health creation potential, and reveals psychological essence of the specified phenomenon. Basing on the results of empirical study, the authors prove that person’s health creation potential is a multidimensional structure integrating three factors – valeological mindset, metacognitive abilities, and affective self-attribution. For the first time, the paper represents the characteristic of resource provision of human health in the context of a holistic approach. Besides, it shows and scientifically justifies the structure of health creation potential, which acts as a mechanism of human self-cognition, self-evaluation, and self-development.Method: The authors use a method of vector modelling, which enables to create a vector-contextual model of person’s health creation potential. This model allows us to define milestones for elaborating and approving special impacts from pedagogues, parent, and administration, which provide the formation of the culture of learners’ health and their personal position concerning health creation. Results:A vector-contextual model of person’s health creation elaborated and conceptualized by the authors enables a pedagogue to forecast sustainable qualities of learners’ self-realizing creative personality and levels of its readiness to health creation activities in constantly changing conditions of society and environment. It plays a significant role in the development of human intelligence and creation and has an impact on the protection, formation, and strengthening of human health.Discussion or Conclusion: Basing on theoretical analysis of literature detoted to the topic of study, the authors represent a refined definition of “health creation potential” notion, design its vector-contextual model, and justify main components-vectors: valeological mindset, metacognitive abilities, and affective self-attribution in the structure of person’s health creation potential. In the context of the topic under study, the authors define conceptual-theoretical models of health-creation potential, which create perspectives for applied research in the methodology of theory of individual health and optimization of the process of actualization of health creation potential at various periods of ontogenesis. Keywords: Health, Vector-contextual model, Valeological mindset, Metacognitive abilities, Affective self-attribution, Health creation competence.

Abstract

The work describes the results of intraoperative tissue optical oxymetry when implanting interspinous fixators in 17 patients with instability in the lumbar spinal segments with the use of a dynamometric digital device. The aim of the study was to develop preventive measures against vascularization disorders in the bone structures as a basic condition for successful osseointegration. The parameters of safe compression (25-27 N/m) of interspinous processes with fixation devices when implanting stabilizing fixators were determined in the course of the study.  Keywords:  Instability, Tissue optical oxymetry, Implants, Digital dynamometry, Spinal motor segment
