Abstract

The coordination chemistry has wide applications in different fields. The arrangement of stable buildings with great natural applications is additionally testing these days. The strength of the buildings depends just on Ligands. The cyclic ring has greater steadiness when contrasted with other polydentate ligands. Vanadium can consolidate with macrocyclicligands. The nearness think about includes amalgamation and portrayal of three diverse full scale cyclic ligands by utilizing ethylene diamine and perchloric corrosive. Planning of vanadium edifices do by blending of VOSO4.H2O and integrated ligands. These buildings were described utilizing UV – Visible spectroscopy, FT-IR. Included with these electrochemical investigations of the building and cyclic voltammetry a technique. Anti microbial examination has been completed.

Abstract

A rapid, sensitive, simple and precise reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method for the simultaneous estimation of nebivolol and valsartan in tablet dosage forms has been developed. The compounds were well separated on Waters HPLC 2965 system using Alltima C18 column (150 mmX4.6 mm, dp=5 mm) and PDA detector with mobile phase consisting of buffer containing 3.3pH Potassium di hydrogen phosphate: acetonitrile: methanol in the ratio 45:35:20 at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min with injection volume at 20ml and wavelength monitered at 280 nm, The Rt for Nebivolol & Valsartan were found to be 2.463& 4.017mins, respectively. Validation of the proposed method was carried out according to International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines. Linearity range was obtained for NB and VT over the concentration range of 2.5-15 and 40-240mg/mL and the r2 values were 0.999 for both drugs. The calculated %RSD and recoveries of the Nebivolol and Valsartan were 0.62, 0.63 and 100.54%, 101.02% correspondingly. The calculated LOD and LOQ values were 0.09ppm, 0.31ppm and 0.28ppm, 0.95ppm correspondingly. Thus the present study showed that the developed RP-HPLC method is sensitive and selective for estimation of Nebivolol and Valsartan in combined dosage form. Keywords: Nebivolol, Valsartan, RP-HPLC, ICH guidelines.

Abstract

Introduction: Computed Radiography (CR) is a technology of digitally medical imaging which is applied in x-ray generator. It is relatively easy to operate. Hence, the operators often use high parameter because they assume that it can ease image post-processing without considering radiation dose resulted by the process which is further received by patient’s organ penetrated by x-ray. It is mostly used on radiological examination of thorax at X-ray Department. Objective: This article aims to evaluate the relationship between ESD and the quality of resulted thorax radiograph as a protecting effort from radiation using ALARA principle. Method: The data were collected by taking pictures of Longman Phantom with kVp variations from 45 kVp to 105 kVp at 2 mAs to 32 mAs. TLD was utilized for the ESD measurement. Then, the radiographs were submitted to a radiologist to read and to convert them into diagnostic value. Result: This article results in several satisfactory imaging qualities based on the statistics of third quartile, that is on the radiation parameter of 75 kVp/16 mAs with dose value of 1.05 mSv, and of 85 kVp/8 mAs with dose value of 1.11 mSv, while BAPETEN allows parameter with dosage under 0.4 mSv on 55 kVp/8mAs, 65 kVp/4 mAs, 75 kVp/4 mAs , 85 kVp/2 mAs, and 105 kVp/2 mAs. Conclusion: The result of the research shows that setting the same value of kVp and increasing the value of mAs will increase ESD value. Keywords: kVp, mAs, ESD, Radiography of Thorax, Computed Radiography.
