Abstract

This study was conducted to look at the effects of currency reserves, inflation, and dollar exchange rates on consumer goods imports in Indonesia using the error correction model (ECM) method. The result of the short-term regression was D(Y) = -75,75310 + 4,21E-08 D(X1) – 31,52554 D (X2) + 0,314495 D(X3) – 0,561151 ECT, and the result of the long-term regression was Y = 1489,170 + 6,30E-09 X1 – 15,06641 X2 + 0,355049 X3. Reserves have (X1) a partial short- and long-term foreign no impact on economic growth in Indonesia. Inflation (X2) in the short term and in the long term has no effect on Indonesian gross domestic product (GDP). Exchange rate (X3) has no short-term or long-term effect on Indonesia’s GDP. The result of the simultaneous test (test F) of the short-term prob values are 0,011006 < 0,05 and Fcalung (4,128184) > Ftable (2,98), and the long-term prob value is 0,000010 < 0.05 and Fcalung value (14,41331) > Ftable (2,98).

Abstract

Capital goods are man-made products that play a crucial role in the production of commodities or services. This study conducts a comprehensive analysis, both in the long-term and short-term, to examine the influence of national income, exchange rates, foreign exchange reserves, and inflation on capital imports. Utilizing secondary data in the form of time series from Bank Indonesia and BPS (Central Statistics Agency) spanning from Q1 2005 to Q4 2020, the research employs the Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis technique. The findings reveal that, in the long term, national income and inflation exhibit positive yet insignificant effects, whereas exchange rates exert a considerable negative impact, and foreign exchange reserves yield a substantial positive effect. Interestingly, in the short term, national income, exchange rates, foreign exchange reserves, and inflation demonstrate no discernible impact on Indonesia's imports of capital goods.

Abstract

Islamic children's education adopts a holistic approach encompassing spiritual, intellectual, social, and moral dimensions. Rooted in the Quran and Hadith, it aims to cultivate individuals who adhere to divine teachings, exhibit exemplary character, and actively contribute to society. Central to this process are parents, who serve as primary guides and role models for their children. Furthermore, Islam advocates for the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills relevant to daily life. Emphasizing the significance of a nurturing environment, Islamic education underscores the consistent practice of Islamic values. Through this framework, Islam perceives children's education as a means to nurture a generation characterized by integrity and accountability, capable of meaningful societal engagement and attaining fulfillment both in this life and the hereafter.

Abstract

The traditional tasyakkur khataman event procession typically occurs at night, though occasionally during the day in certain villages. It commences with the recitation of Juz 'Amma from the Qur'an followed by a festival featuring drumband music, held in a lavish setting to highlight the significance of the Qur'an khataman activities. The leader of the procession, typically mounted on a horse adorned extravagantly by the committee, symbolizes the grandeur of the event. The study focuses on the tasyakkur khataman tradition in Pragaan Daya and Pragaan Laok villages, aiming to understand its evolution over time and the desacralization of Qur'anic values within the community. Employing qualitative field research with a case study approach, data was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings revealed the tradition's historical continuity over four distinct periods and identified five areas of Qur'anic values desacralization.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the personality structure of the characters in the novel Segi Tiga using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The data source in this research is the novel Segi Tiga by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The focus of this research is on three characters by utilizing various dialogues and conflicts that occur. The results of research on the novel Segi Tiga by Sapardi Djoko Damono include the id which often dominates the character Suryo, making him a male character who often thinks irrationally in dealing with various problems. Meanwhile, the superego is the personality structure that dominates Noriko the most, making her a character who always thinks about the interests of other characters. Furthermore, the most dominant personality structure in Gendis is almost equal to the id, ego and superego. The id in Gendis acts based on instinct, while the ego always acts to satisfy the id in Gendis, giving rise to several problems, but the superego in Gendis is always the moral hand that guides Gendis to do good things.

Abstract

The debate between religion and science remains a captivating subject of study. The conflict intensifies as scientists, viewing themselves as rational, aim to uncover fundamental laws governing behavior, matter, and style. Conversely, religionists adhere to unchangeable truths based on religious dogmas. Interestingly, Muslim scientist Nidhal Guessoum addresses modern science from a different perspective, integrating religion and science, thus enriching Islamic thought. This study examines the construction and relationship between religion and science in Guessoum's quantum theory. Using qualitative research methods, it analyzes books and research journals detailing Guessoum's thoughts. The findings reveal that Guessoum constructs an Islamic view on scientific theories, including Islam and Cosmology, Design Arguments, Anthropic Principles, and Evolution. Additionally, he offers a quantum theory based on three principles: non-contradiction, layered interpretation, and theistic falsification.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum by examining the models, criteria, and approaches used in its implementation. The research background stems from the need to ensure that the PAI curriculum meets educational objectives and remains relevant to contemporary developments. The primary research question is how the current PAI curriculum's models, criteria, and approaches are applied and their impact on student learning. This qualitative research employs data collection techniques such as document analysis, observations, and interviews with teachers and education experts. The findings indicate that the implemented curriculum models are varied, but many are still based on traditional approaches that lack contextual relevance to modern needs. The assessment criteria tend to focus on cognitive aspects rather than affective and psychomotor domains. The approaches used are often less interactive and do not fully support meaningful learning. The conclusion of this study is the necessity to revise the PAI curriculum to integrate more holistic and contextual approaches, and to update assessment criteria to include more comprehensive aspects. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a more effective and relevant PAI curriculum that meets the needs of students in the modern era.
