Abstract

This research is intended to find a biblical study between past hoax news and the dangers of hoax news in today's social media. This study uses a qualitative writing method by using exsegesa study of the Bible as the basis of essential truth, supported by various sources related to the existing discussion topics. In the discussion, it turns out that there is a similarity between "fairy tales and myths" and human laws, which are contained in Surah Titus 1: 13-14 and 1Tim 4: 7, which are fake news made by a person to achieve certain goals, including damaging personal relationships with neighbor, but also destroy the faith and belief in God. In today's media it seems the same, that hoax is someone's trick or slander, lies that are packaged as if they are true, but the truth is lies. In this journal a solution has been found that, hoax news must be stopped because it is detrimental to others and there is no positive value that can be taken. First, hold true teaching that lying is a sin and harms others. Second, be selective in choosing the right news by looking for reliable sources.

Abstract

With the development of the internet and the proliferation of digital resources, plagiarism has become a widespread problem in academic contexts throughout the world. However, this article will argue that Christians should consider plagiarism to be a sin—that is, a moral issue and not only an academic issue. After a brief history and description of plagiarism, six reasons will be offered in support of the notion that plagiarism is a sin. Then, a potential objection will be addressed, and a few concluding remarks will be given.

Abstract

This research is intended to find a relationship between adolescent understanding of Deuteronomy 6: 6-8 with the role of parents in educating children. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods, namely test analysis, validity test and linkert scale calculation. This research was conducted randomly to high school students in Jakarta and students in Jakarta, Salatiga and Yogyakarta. Data collection, researchers used 2 types of questionnaires for the 2 variables studied. Each questionnaire contained 10 question items with 3 scales: True, Doubtful, False. The research was conducted on 6-8 July 2020. The sexes of respondents were male and female. The age of the respondents between 15-24 years. The results showed that adolescents had a very good understanding of 87.5 percent about the role of parents according to Deuteronomy 6:6-8 and parents had a good role of 78.8 percent in educating children.

Abstract

This study will look for Dari atas ke bawah leadership values ​​and find the meaning of why a leader prefers to use this style rather than using another leadership style that is more effective? This research uses qualitative, not experimental, methods. This method is used for social and humanities research and can also be used in research or theological studies. From the results of the discussion above, it is found five values ​​of the first Dari atas ke bawah leadership: Top down leadership style is already entrenched. These two leadership styles are most commonly practiced in every third generation. The third leadership style is the easiest to implement because this style of a leader only commands the people under him. The four Leadership styles that are natural under one person is born with Adam's sin with a dominant nature over others. This is a dangerous trend. These five top-down leadership styles are leadership styles that damage relationships with one another because top-down styles pursue results more than humans so humans are sacrificed for certain results.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah gereja sudah mengembangakan pendidikan Alkitab dalam gereja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi pustaka yang mengacu pada literatur buku dan prinsip penafsiran hermeneutic secara induktif. Berdasarkan pembahasan, gereja dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Alkitab meliputi 7 bagian penting yaitu: memiliki tujuan pengajaran, memiliki kualifikasi pengajar, memiliki murid, memiliki metode pengajaran, memiliki sarana dan prasarana, evaluasi model pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa gereja belum berperan maksimal dalam mengembangkan pola pendidikan Alkitab kepada seluruh jemaat. Kata Kunci:
