Abstract

MasterCam is a software used to simulate the machining process where the final result produces a G code that can later be used on a CNC machine and can be used to create an object according to the design in the simulation process. With the MasterCam software, it can simplify and accelerate the manufacture of a product with the same dimensions and shape. CNC machines are used to make products in large quantities without any difference from all of these products, because CNC moves and operates based on a program, not based on the skills of the operator. A study has been conducted using MasterCam software on how to make a Nevel product so that the resulting G code can be transferred to a CNC machine. The material used to make a nevel is brass

Abstract

In the field of overhead crane construction, a girder is a beam that is positioned between two supports that can be pillars or abutments. The shape of the girder beam varies, ranging from square, trapezoidal, letter U, letter I to letter T. The I-girder type is an I-shaped beam made of composite or non-composite materials. This type of girder is most often used in bridge construction in Indonesia. It is natural that all manufacturers must provide and accept custom manufacturing. The research conducted in this report focuses on girders for overhead cranes to withstand a load of 4 tons. The research was conducted by comparing the results of the manual calculation process with the simulation process using Inventor software. . Steel Girder Material ST 37 Standard JIS 3101 SS400 profile I beam size 350 x 175 x 7 x 11 mm.The results obtained are Normal Stress on the beam of   Shear Stress  1.96 N / mm2 Deflection that occurs in the I-section beam 1.2 mm. Where E is the modulus of elasticity of Steel of 200,000 Mpa.

Abstract

Welding is a method of joining metals that involves metallurgical bonds at the metal joints by melting some of the parent metal and filler metal with or without additional metal and producing a continuous joint. Tensile strength is one of the things that is very much considered in the selection of a material for industry. SS 400 is a type of carbon steel that has a carbon content of 0.23%. For the repair industry, the most suitable is to use welding (MMAW), but the Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) process has more advantages and has been appreciated by the industry for years. The tests in this report are tensile and bending tests. In the Tensile test, the highest tensile strength was 567.5 N / mm2 on sample T1, the lowest tensile strength was 570.9 N / mm2 on sample T2 and the average tensile strength value was 569.2 N / mm2. In the Face Bending test, the maximum load on sample F1 is 135,227.00 N, on sample F2 is 131,877.70 N and the average value of the maximum load is 133,552.35 N with the test results being cracks at the joints of samples F1 and F2. In the Face Bending test, the maximum load on sample R1 is 123,828.400 N, on sample R2 is 131,624.40 N and the average value of the maximum load is 127,726.40 N with the test results being cracks at the joints of sample R1 and fractures at the joints of sample R2.

Abstract

One of the machining processes that is often used in the industrial world is the drilling process (hole making process). The hole making process can be done manually or automatically depending on the needs. In the manufacture of products with a low level of accuracy and small quantities, the manual process is very effective to use, but in the manufacture of products with a high level of accuracy and large quantities, the manual process is no longer effective to use. Therefore, a process is needed that works automatically so that the results of the work are as expected. Automatic control systems can be done using microcontrollers, computers, PLCs, or circuits consisting of control components. The control components that are often used are relays, timers and counters. This final project will discuss the performance of the drilling machine in making several holes in a row and applying it with a control system. The automatic control system is used to move the workpiece holder (vice) and the drilling machine. The control components used are relays, timers, counters and limit switches. These control components are used as controllers on the workpiece holder and drilling machine controllers.

Abstract

The rapid business competition in Indonesia results in business challenges for a company. In the current era, consumers are very careful in finding, buying, and using a product that suits what they want. Therefore, a company is required to find what kind of marketing strategy so that the products they offer can become the main choice of consumers to make purchasing decisions. This study aims to determine how co-branding influences purchasing decisions for consumers of Ice Cream Aice Blueberry Cookies. This research is included in survey research using a verification description. The population used in the study were consumers of Aice Blueberry Cookies in Majalengka with a sample size of 100 respondents. The data collection technique in this study was the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that co-branding is in the very good category, and purchasing decisions are in the high category.
