Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the maximum capacity of roads in overcoming bottlenecks using the Maximum Network Flow Model and analyze the interaction of the distribution of the movement with the city located around the city of Ambon by using Gravity Model. Data obtained using the method of documentation. Obtained results, the maximum number of cars that can pass through the road network in 1 hour is 68 units. Line 1 is the terminal Mahardika to Kudamati has exceeded the capacity for the first hour there are 104 units of the car were gone and behind 102 cars. While the other track is still low, so that the growth and development of land transportation is strongly recommended. Results of the analysis of the gravitational interaction with the transport of the most powerful city of Ambon is Karang Panjang Town with great interaction and 6781.96088 weakest interaction is with great interaction Leahari City 5.27899.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the role of the agricultural sector in Southeast Minahasa Regency. The role was measured by the contribution of the agricultural sector in GRDP and the position of the agricultural sector in the regency economy, whether as it was a base or non-base sector. This research was conducted in Southeast Minahasa Regency. The data used were collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics, both South Minahasa and North Sulawesi offices, Planning Board (Bappeda) of Southeast Minahasa, and the Agricultural Agency of Southeast Minahasa Regency. The data were analyzed by calculating  the contribution of the agricultural sector, LQ and DLQ. The results showed that inspite of the drop in recent years, the agricultural sector remained had the largest contribution in GRDP of Southeast Minahasa Regency. Based on LQ analysis, it was shown that the agricultural sector was one of the four base sectors. Other base sectors were mining and quarrying, manufacturing, and construction sectors. Furthermore, from five sub-sectors within the agricultural sector, two of them were base sub sectors, namely food crops and plantation, while livestocks, forestry and fisheries were non-base sub-sectors. Based on DLQ analysis, the position of the agricultural sector in the future would remain as a base sector. There would be several sub-sectors in agriculture that had the potential to become base sub-sectors in the future, namely food crops, plantation, livestock and forestry, while fisheries sub-sector was predicated to remain as a non base sub-sector in the future.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the efficiency of use of factors of production in Broccoli farming. Research carried out on all Broccoli farmers in Kakaskasen Village. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with a model of Cobb-Douglas production function. The results showed that the uses of factors of production (land, seed, fertilizer and labor) have given a significant effect simultantly on the production of broccoli in Kakaskasen Village. Technically, the use of production factors of seed, fertilizer, NPK fertilizer and labor is efficient, while the use production factor of land is not efficient yet and Urea fertilizer production factor is not efficient. Economically, the use of production factors of land, seed, fertilizer, NPK fertilizer and labor have not been efficient yet, while the use of factors of production of urea is not efficient.
