Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the work culture of the state civil apparatus during the covid-19 pandemic was at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Southeast Minahasa Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with research indicators consisting of habits, rules and values of the point of data analysis used, which consists of data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that the work culture of state civil servants at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Southeast Minahasa Regency in carrying out work showed that work habits as a work culture during the COVID-19 pandemic were carried out in accordance with established regulations, namely employees can carry out work through working in office, work at home and can work anywhere in accordance with the implementation instructions or implementation guidelines set by the government. If public services are carried out at the office, the community and officers must follow the health protocols that have been set in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Meanwhile, for those who do work from home or from anywhere who are tasked with serving public public services, this is done through the use of applications that have been provided by the service.

Abstract

This study aims to studying the effect of extracts of citronella, pangi leaves, and clove leaves on the mortality of S. litura larvae, the number of S. litura pupae formed and the inhibition of feeding activity of S. litura larvae on cabbage plants. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Protection and Quality Testing of Food Crops and Horticulture of North Sulawesi Province and the Laboratory of the Agriculture and Fisheries Service of Tomohon City from November 2020 to July 2021. The research method used a completely randomized design consisting of 3 treatments and 5 replications. The results showed that citronella extract, pangi leaf extract and clove leaf extract could control the mortality of S. litura larvae, the number of pupae of S. litura larvae formed and inhibit the feeding activity of S. litura larvae.

Abstract

This study aimed to estimate the carrying capacity of Paal Beach tourist sites, East Likupang, one of the main tourist attractions in the Likupang Special Economic Zone (SEZ). This research was conducted from March to November 2021. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were collected at tourist sites, both from visitors and the Paal Beach management. Secondary data were obtained from tourism site managers and related agencies such as  Statistics Indonesia Office, Tourism Office, and also gathered from various available documents. The results showed that the Physical Carrying Capacity (PCC) for Paal Beach was 2654 visitors per day, while the Real Carrying Capacity (RCC) and Effective Carrying Capacity (ECC) had the same value, which were 1843 visitors per day. The data showed that the number of visitors on weekdays, weekends and national holidays was still below the PCC. However, there was an ocassion where the number of visitors on a national holiday exceeded the RCC and the ECC.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and to describe the implementation of the policies of the Evangelical Church synod in Minahasa in the elderly service group. This research was conducted at the GMIM Synod Office, Talete Dua, Central Tomohon District, Tomohon City, North Sulawesi. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The data used are primary data obtained directly from informants and secondary data obtained indirectly. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the Policy Implementation of the GMIM Synod Elderly empowerment service group had implemented several programs that accommodated the elderly in terms of improving relationships, social support as well as aspects of a sense of security, and self-confidence for the elderly in their old age. The obstacles related to the policy of the GMIM Synod Elderly service group management is the unavailability of a managerial center for the empowerment of the elderly in particular, in which there are facilities and infrastructure and a management structure that does not yet have a synodal structural equality level, which causes sometimes the existing programs doesn’t run optimally.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the performance of regional property managers in the Minahasa Regency local government. This research was conducted from October to December 2021. This research used descriptive qualitative methods to describe aspects related to the object of research in depth. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The results of the research indicate that the quality of employees is still very lacking, especially in the field of Information and Technology with the constraints that occur are the sources of funding that are still lacking and have an impact on the limitations of existing equipment and resource capacity is still very lacking because they have not maximally understood the basic management of regional property and have not mastering Information and Technology. the quantity of work is good enough but not maximized because understanding of the duties and abilities of employees is still lacking so that in carrying out tasks there are still delays and still need direction from superiors. In Aspects of time use at work, employee attendance using a fingerprint system and monitored on time. Relations between fellow employees and superiors are well established and a conducive atmosphere is created. The initiative in carrying out the duties of employees is still waiting for orders/directions from superiors and still lacks initiative in doing things without prior instructions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of library services at the Regional Archives and Libraries Office of Tomohon City. The research was carried out at the Regional Archives and Library Office of Tomohon City from October to December 2021. The method used in this study was a qualitative method with informants taken using purposive sampling technique with a focus on research using service quality aspects consisting of reliability, assurance, responsiveness and tangibles. The data used are sourced from primary data and secondary data collected through interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis used steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the overall service quality of the Tomohon City regional library was very lacking, this was caused by the unavailability of competent librarians in the library so that at the time of a visit no one could explain for sure about the library or the information needed and the services provided in terms of infrastructure. namely the need for renewable books not available in the library.
