Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of marketing mix variables (product, price, promotion, and place) to the consumer's decision to save the Rural Bank Prisma Airmadidi Fund. The research was conducted in November to December 2010. The primary data obtained through interviews with 50 respondents, customers using questionnaire. Analysis using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 17.0. Hypothesis testing using test-f, t-test, and the coefficient of determination (R2).The results showed that all four marketing mix variables jointly influence consumer decisions. Variable products and variable space has a positive and significant influence on consumer decisions, promotion variables have positive but not significant, while the price variable and no significant negative effect on consumer decisions. RB Prism Fund is expected to remain maintain product quality while expanding the market to increase the number of consumers / customers. The interest rate should be above the savings rate savings banks. Promotion strategies are needed in the form of prizes to increase the number of BPR Prism Funds.Keywords: marketing mix, decision to save

Abstract

The object of the research is Bakery shops in Manado. Bread Talk and Kawan Baru Bakery shop have chosen to be observed. The purpose of this study is to determine and to compare the marketing mix that is used by both bakery shops. The study is expected to provide input for bakery manufacturers in terms of management. From these results it can be concluded that the concept of marketing mix of Kawan Baru bakery shop is the selling concept that the output is profit while Bread Talk bakery shop is not only profit but also consumer satisfaction. The difference between the two stores is in the application of 4P indicators which are product, price, place and promotion.Keywords: Marketing Mix, Bakery Shops

Abstract

This study aims to determine the dynamics of agricultural labor force of North Sulawesi Province. Re-search location in Manado (July to August 2010). Collecting data is secondary data research. The data were processed using the calculation of share of labor and labor force growth rate calculations. The re-sults showed employment growth rate of agriculture sector decreased by 5.78 percent per annum in the period of 2000-2009. While employment in non-agricultural sector increased by 1.78 percent each year. This indicates there is the tendency of structural transformation of agriculture labor to non-agricultural sector. Low tendency of Trade will be able to influence farmers to reduce or stop activities that agribusi-ness will affect the size of the agricultural labor share. Labor share of agriculture sector on the basis of education level is dominated by the level of primary education during the period 2007-2009 but its labor force growth rate has decreased each year in both rural and urban areas. Labor share of the agricultur-al sector based on the age group was dominated by the age of 55 years and above over the 2007-2009 period and is indicated by increasing the growth rate of labor force in rural and urban areas especially in urban areas despite a decline each year that tend to occur due to an increased energy agricultural labor in rural areas. Labor share of agriculture sector by district / city dominated by Bolaang Mongon-dow during the period 2007-2009, although rates of employment growth in agriculture sector has de-creased each year in both rural and urban areas. Labor share of agriculture sector based on the out-pouring of work hours was dominated by workers who work full (>35 hours) during the period 2007-2009 despite the decline in employment growth rates in both rural and urban areas each year.Keywords: Dynamics of Agricultural Labor Force, Structural Transformation, Labor Share

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much profit and value added processing business candied nutmeg. The research was carried out on an industrial UD Women in the Village District Girian Weru Girian Bitung City. The primary data obtained through interviews with the owners daughter UD production period in March 2011. Descriptive analysis of data presented in tabular form, and to know the profit and value-added use profit and loss analysis of value-added analysis. The results showed that profits candied nutmeg on UD daughter of Rp14,983,402.8. Value-added meat processing nutmeg candied nutmeg to Rp45,070 per kilogram of meat nutmeg, with a ratio of 95 percent.Keywords: profit analysis, value added, candied nutme

Abstract

This study aims to (a) describe these three psychological factors and productivity of rice farming, and (b) to study whether there is a significant relationship between these psychological factors (work ethic, achievement motivation and innovative attitude) with farm productivity. Based on the analysis of descriptions of the main variables of the study, then through the method of "Likert's Summated Ratings" in the measurement of psychological variables in the know that the three psychological variables were in levels of "High" (from 5 measurement scales: from very low to very high). relatively variable work ethic scores 79.4 percent, 71.1 percent motivation, and innovative attitude of 78.4 percent.While for the variable productivity of rice varies from 1163.64 to 3030.30 kg / ha with an average of 2042.30 kg / ha of rice equivalent.In the method of Pearson correlation analysis then known that the variable work ethic and innovative attitude variables are very significant berhubingan with rice productivity, which in this case addressed by the magnitude of correlation coefficient (r = 0.67, p = 0.00) for variable ethos employment and productivity, and (r =0.696, p =0.00) for variable innovative attitude and productivity. this means that the size of the productivity of paddy rice farming posiyif no relationship with work ethic and innovative attitude of the farmers. while the motivation is not there a significant relationship with lowland rice farming productivity variable (r = 0.21, p =0.27). This means that farmers in increasing their business productivity is not driven by emotional intelligence but more driven olek because of necessity (there is no other choice) in developing rice farming. so that the size of the productivity is not determined by the high and low motivation of farmers.Keywords: Work ethic, achievement motivation, innovative attitude, farm productivity

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between socio-economic characteristics rice farmers in participat-ing in agricultural extension in the Village District of Tompaso Kamanga.The method used in this research is quantitative method. The research was conducted in the Village District of Tompaso Kamanga Minahasa regency. The number of respondents were 30 farmers: Simple Random Sam-pling. By using questionnaires. The variables measured were: age is measured in (year), education is formal education (elementary Graduate, Graduate from junior high school, go to college, PT), revenue is measured from the income of the paddy rice farming (USD), the status of land ownership (see from their own land and tenants and or penyakap), participation in agricultural extension (seen from the frequency of attendance). To determine the socio-economic factors that influence the selection of a variety of extension methods used Spearman Rank correlation formula (Siegel, 1997). The results showed that the characteristics of the mem-bers of the real touch with the level of participation and vice versa if the value of the probability (P)> α, mean that there is no real relationship between the characteristics of the members of the participation rate.Keywords: Relationship, Characteristics, Farmers, Agricultural Extension
