Abstract

Residential development in the Griya Permata Complex has reduced water catchment areas, resulting in chronic flooding that has the potential to cause public health problems, such as the spread of mosquito-borne diseases. This community service project aims to address this problem through the construction of a water channel. The methods used included land clearing, bowplank measurements, and manual channel excavation by a team from Banjarmasin State Polytechnic and students. To date, the work has reached 70% completion, with an excavation volume of 72 m³. The results show that the water channel construction can accommodate flooding and reduce runoff, demonstrating that simple interventions can improve environmental quality and public health

Abstract

This training was conducted to strengthen the understanding and skills of Master of Management students at Pattimura University in applying Adanco as an SEM-PLS analysis tool. The training took place online on August 29, 2025, and was attended by 38 students. The training included an explanation of basic concepts, hands-on practice with guidance, and the application of case studies using research data. These activities enabled participants to design research models, conduct estimates, and evaluate models based on SEM-PLS cut-off value criteria. The results demonstrated that the training was effective in improving students' methodological competencies while also providing additional analysis software options. Overall, this activity is expected to support the improvement of the quality of students' research and scientific publications

Abstract

Drug abuse among minors is a serious problem with broad impacts on the health, social well-being, and future of the younger generation. This program aims to raise public awareness about the importance of rehabilitation for juvenile drug users outside the courts, particularly in Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Through outreach, counseling, and education activities, the community is provided with an understanding of the mechanisms of medical and social rehabilitation as mandated by Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. This program also encourages the implementation of the principle of diversion so that child drug abusers are not treated as perpetrators of crimes, but rather as victims in need of recovery. The results of the activities indicate an increase in the understanding of the community and village officials regarding the importance of rehabilitation and support for the "Shining Village" (Drug-Free) program. Thus, this activity is expected to strengthen efforts to prevent, recover, and protect children from the impacts of drug abuse and build a healthy and drug-free social environment
