Abstract

Efficient use of energy is emphasized in the use of electronic equipment. It aims to create an environmentally friendly technology. No exception for lighting in homes, buildings, schools and so on. Often, we see many room lights that turn on when not in use. This can be a huge waste of electricity. For this reason, a solution to this problem is needed, so an energy-efficient automatic lamp is needed. This lighting system aims to adjust the lighting conditions automatically based on the surrounding conditions. This system will detect the brightness or dimness of a room. If the room is bright enough, the light will turn off. However, when the room is dark, the lights will automatically turn on. The main energy source for this lamp is not from PLN electricity, but from solar panels. The use of solar panels aims to save electricity from PLN and utilize energy sources that are free and available for a very long time. This solar panel-based lighting system is already running well. This system is already able to utilize energy from the sun through solar panels to charge the battery, and the output of the system is that the lights are controlled automatically by the sensor block according to environmental conditions.

Abstract

This article presents a deep learning-based approach for roof building detection in aerial imagery using the Yolov7 algorithm and Google Colab. We trained the Yolov7 model on a dataset of annotated aerial images and tested its performance on a testing set of 200 images. Our experimental results show that the Yolov7 model achieved an F1 score of 80% for roof building detection on the testing set, indicating that our approach can accurately detect roof buildings in aerial imagery. This approach can be useful in various applications, such as urban planning, disaster management, and infrastructure development. The availability of aerial imagery and the ability to use deep learning algorithms make it possible to automate the process of roof building detection, which can save time and resources. This research can be extended by investigating the use of other deep learning algorithms or combining multiple algorithms to improve the accuracy of roof building detection in aerial imagery.

Abstract

Management information systems in business intelligence can be said to process and analyze data related to business, the purpose of which is to assist businesses in making the right decisions. Business intelligence allows organizations to manage data, and turn it into information so that it is not fixated on numbers alone. However, businesses can better assess and improve their performance, budget cost-effectively, and find new business prospects when using business information. Many other elements affect sales besides the price and quality of the goods, such as the nature of the buyer, geographical factors, and other aspects. These reasons make business intelligence work very important. Business intelligence is one of them where business people or companies need tools. This business intelligence processes data into information about the products offered so that business people or companies can later make assessments.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the decision-making process in selecting the best employees at Alratz Official Boutique. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is applied in the decision system to analyze relevant criteria, such as skills, experience, and previous performance. This research integrates employee data, utilizing information technology to improve objectivity and efficiency in decision-making. The results of the study show that the application of the SAW method can increase the accuracy and speed of the employee selection process, assisting management in building a productive and high-performance team. The practical implications of this research can make a positive contribution to companies in improving productivity and service quality. Based on this, a company is inseparable from the role of humans to work in it. Quality to increase the productivity of a company's performance is one of the Human Resources (HR) factors. Therefore, a company needs to conduct an employee performance assessment for its success or unsuccess in performing tasks.

Abstract

Crime among young people in Palembang City has become an increasingly concerning issue. This phenomenon includes a wide range of crimes ranging from theft to drugs, which show,s an alarming upward trend. This study aims to analyze the factors that drive crime among young people in Palembang, as well as their impact on society and urban development. The study uses a combination of interviews, surveys, and statistical data analysis to identify the root causes of youth crime. Some of the factors identified include economic inequality, lack of access to education, and low levels of social awareness. The results of the analysis also highlight the negative impact of criminalization on public safety, city image, and economic development potential.
