This research aims to analyze the local wisdom system of manugal agriculture carried out by the Dayak Kiyu Meratus tribe to preserve the environment and know the efforts in preserving local wisdom amid the current globalization. The research method is a case study, aimed at knowing the concept that the subject builds with a particular phenomenon or event. Dayak Kiyu Meratus people are a society that is harmonious with nature, because nature has provided a livelihood for them. This is manifested in the use of forest land, this tribe divides the forest into two, namely prohibition forest and agricultural forest. In the use of agricultural forests, this tribe for generations uses local wisdom manugal. This local wisdom system is believed to preserve the environment because the local wisdom of agriculture is an agricultural system to grow local varieties of rice on dry land which is done once a year. In manugal land selection is a very important thing. For this tribe forest land should not be carelessly used as land for manugal. There are several rituals that they do: mangirau gives offerings to the spirits of forest waiting ancestors, grows, asks permission for the spirits of ancestors to clear land. Before the manugal, they will surround the land three times, carrying incense while reciting a spell of pleading to the ancestors so that rice products are abundant and can be enjoyed by all family members and promise not to damage nature. Efforts are made to preserve nature with local wisdom manugal by teaching the next generation, to make good use of forest land, and teach the values contained in local wisdom manugal. The existence of several films that carry the theme of disability is expected to build public awareness of the importance of equal rights of minority groups, especially those with disabilities in various fields of life. The existence of misrepresentation can lead to various problems that persons with disabilities will feel. In addition, every film is also equipped with a moral message because human life can not possibly be separated from moral values. This study aims to determine the representation and moral messages of the film Dancing In The Rain. This study used qualitative research methods. This method places more emphasis on descriptive research and emphasizes detailed information analysis. The data analysis technique used is Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from films, meanwhile secondary data comes from literary sources such as journals, articles, theses, books, websites, and other supporting sources. The study's results indicate that in a community, the presence of persons with disabilities is represented as an abnormal or abnormal condition. In particular, there are three moral messages in the film, namely non-discrimination messages, messages of friendship, and messages of sincerity.

Parenting is an initial foundation that parents can give children to provide moral education, character, and intelligence so that children can develop optimally. Parenting is a way for parents to educate children, treat, nurture and make children become disciplined individuals in adulthood, to assist the process of forming norms in the general public. In carrying out parenting, both father and mother must work hand in hand cooperatively in order for parenting runs optimally. Some people who adhere to patriarchy sometimes still project the task of raising children only to the mother. Parenting patterns are divided into four types, namely: (1) permissive, (2) authoritarian, (3) authoritative, and (4) uninvolved. Each of the existing types of parenting has its own positive and negative impacts. Considering the digital era where access to technology is getting easier and internet access is increasingly widespread, parents utilize the internet in daily life. Parents use the internet whether it's for educational purposes or merely entertainment. Utilizing and using technology and the internet to support parenting methods and patterns is not considered wrong, but using it excessively is not highly recommended. The negative impact of excessive internet and technology use is that it may draw a distance between children and their surroundings. This is what makes researchers interested in examining how changes in the digital era can affect parents' digital parenting. This study aims to find out how parents apply parenting styles and how the digitalization era affects parenting patterns for their children.

The film "Yuni" is a film released in 2021 directed by Kamila Andini, and written by Kamila Andini and Prisma Rudi. The film “Yuni” really highlights the existence of a patriarchal culture in a community group. Patriarchal culture is a culture that has a structure by placing the role of men as the main, central, and everything ruler. In a patriarchal culture, the role of women is limited so that women are shackled and discriminated against. This study aims to analyze the patriarchal culture in the film "Yuni". This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The data used are sourced from the Yuni film and literature study. The data obtained were analyzed using the theory of liberal feminism, where the theory aims to explain the problems discussed using a women's perspective. The results of this study indicate that in the film Yuni highlights the existence of a patriarchal culture in the village. This patriarchal culture causes social problems, in the film, there are many stories about early marriage and domestic violence as well as discrimination in education for women. History education has a vital role in building the character of society. Reflected in the objectives of history subjects in Permendiknas Number 22 of 2006, history contains the values of heroism, exemplary service, nationalism, and an unyielding spirit that underlies the process of character and personality formation. However, the process of history learning in schools has not been maximally introducing character education to students. Schools prioritize students' cognitive rather than affective and psychomotor. The introduction of history at school is also limited to the school area. So the media is needed to introduce history to the broader community outside of school. In addition, changes in education in this global era should be made to suit the changing times. Therefore, the author initiated a media called JASMERAH, which is a platform for generation Z. The platform is specially designed to introduce historical figures. It is an attempt at the character-building of civil society in the global era. JASMERAH will be designed as a website. By the use of JASMERAH's website, the character-building education can be carried out interactively, inspiring and fun. The content in JASMERAH is beneficial for generation z to find out information about the history as well as character-building education that can be accessed anytime. The writing method in this paper uses the research & development (R&D) method with a 4D development model that focuses on two steps, define and design. Primary and secondary data sources with data analysis using SWOT. The prediction of the results of this program is to help solve the problem of character education through historical education to realize civil society.

One of the subjects that is a challenge in implementing education in the 21st century is the learning process on historical subjects. The history learning method in the classroom tends to be monotonous by using the lecture method, making students easily bored and not understanding the material well. On the other, there are illustrated, easy-to-carry, and read comic media that can contain text, images, and scenes. It can be an alternative media for history learning because it stimulates students to be creative, imaginative, and innovative, as well as encourages them to be independent. This research aims to analyze the benefits of using comics as a medium to learn history to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. This research uses a literature review method with descriptive analysis techniques. Researchers collect data from previous relevant studies in the last ten years. The results of researches that have been carried out illustrate that using comics media in history learning can significantly increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Movies are one of the media for the social construction of society regarding various issues in many lines of life. One of them is gender stereotypes which has always been an interesting topic of discussion, especially in a strong patriarchal environment. This study uses the movie Chaos Walking (2013) by Doug Liman as the object of research. The purpose of this study is to find out how gender stereotypes are formed and represented in this movie. This study uses a qualitative research method with the semiotic method by Roland Barthes. Qualitative data in this study were obtained through documentation, which is movie. The results obtained are as follows: (1) men are represented as individuals who must behave masculine, strong, and powerful. (2) women’s existence are unnecessary. (3) men become manipulative individuals even among men. (4) the Chaos Walking movie shows the existence and role of men and women as important to interact and coexist. (5) Chaos Walking movie constructs gender stereotypes through dialogue, behavior, and visualization in the movie.

Film The Hunger Game diadaptasi dari novel Trilogi The Hunger Game oleh penulis berdarah Amerika yaitu Suzanne Collins. Film yang rilis pertama kali di Indonesia pada 22 Maret 2021 ini adalah film bergenre fiksi ilmiah yang memuat isu-isu sosial yang sering kita jumpai di masyarakat, salah satunya yaitu konflik sosial. Pada film ini menggambarkan bagaimana kaum proletariat berjuang untuk keluar dari penindasan dan kemiskinan, sedangkan kaum borjuis merasakan hidup yang sangat sejahtera dengan gaya hidup mewah tanpa memiliki rasa peduli terhadap kaum bawah. Tradisi yang dibuat oleh kaum petinggi adala kompetisi yang mengharuskan pesertanya untuk saling membunuh dan bertahan hidup, dimana hal tersebut hanya digunakan sebagai hiburan reality show oleh kaum-kaum tinggi tanpa merasa keputusasaan yang dirasakan oleh kaum-kaum proletariat. Bedasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti memilih film ini unutk di teliti dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan konsep teori kelas Karl Max. Tujuam penelitii mlakukan analisis ini ialah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui scene-scene yang mempresentasikan konflik sosial pada film The Hunger Games melalui analisa representasi, ideologi, dan realitas. Methode yang peneliti gunakan pada penelitian ini ialah deskriptive serta pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis semiotica model Jonh Fiske. Teori Kelas Karl Marx yang digunakan sebagai acuan dasar teori pada penelitian ini. Teori tersebut yang mengemukakan 2 kelas dalam masyarakat kapitalis yaitu kaum buruh (proletaria) dan pemiliki modal (borjuis). Teknik analysis data dalan penelitian ini menggunakan analysis descriptive. Hasiil dari analisis ini menunjukan pada adegan yang ada di film The Hunger Games mampu mempresentasikan konflik sosial melalui scene-scene perbedaan tempat tinggal dan konflik-konflik yang dialami oleh pemeran utama yaitu Katniss Everdeen. Adegan, setting tempat, setting latar, karakter, hingga lighting dan pemilihan music dapat mewakili apa yang ingin disampaikan, sehingga makna-makna tersirat maupun tersurat dapat sampai kepada penonton dengan jelas. Kesenjangan sosial yang dialami oleh kaum buruh (penduduk distrik) mengakibatkan memicu pemberontakan yang dilakukan oleh kaum buruh kepada kaum borjuis (Capitol) untuk menuntut revolusi. Digambarkan perjuangan kelas teersebut tidak akan berhenti hingga salah satu dari kelas tersebut mengalami kekalahan.

The State University of Surabaya (Unesa) as a leading university in Indonesia, always contributes to building the country through the tridharma of higher education, namely education, research and community service. Unesa's research and community service (PKM) footprint has now reached the age of 58 years. Therefore, these steps must be well documented through historical narratives, so that LPPM Unesa in the future remains a sustainable institution without having to forget its historical roots. Writing the history of the Unesa Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) will pass through 4 important periods. First, the period when Unesa was still an IKIP. Second, the wider mandate period in which Unesa will spread its wings and this will definitely affect the strategic policy direction of LPPM Unesa. Third, when Unesa was in the form of a Public Service Agency (BLU). Fourth, is Unesa towards a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH). Through this history book, the gold ink of LPPM Unesa in the process of building the country through research and community service in Indonesia for a better life of the nation will be documented.

Urip Iku Urup Javanese philosophy has a value that builds social interaction between individuals and other individuals. So that in this social interaction solidarity is established in building community harmony, especially in a community group in the Housing environment. This study aims to examine the cohesiveness of groups strengthening the harmony of residential communities through Javanese philosophy. This study was conducted using a descriptobe qualitative method by conducting observation and community interviews in Kediri Regency, especially in the housing of Sukorejo Indah located in Katang Village, Ngasem Distric, Kediri Regency. The results of this study show that Javanese philosophy can be the driving force behind the cohesiveness of community life, Java has not implemented Javanese philosophy in community life, there are still many housing units whose people still apply the Javanese philosophy “Urip Iku Urup” in community activities. Although in Javanese philosophy practice every region in Kediri Regency has a difference, some still uphold that philosophy. Teherefote, awareness in establishing harmony between neighbors is still maintained so that harmony can be achieved of every community in Sukorejo Indah Housing.
