Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of an anger and stress management intervention program on school leaders' burnout, stress, anger, and leadership skills. The study utilized a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up design and collected quantitative data using standardized measures. The study also collected qualitative data through focus group discussions with school leaders at the end of the intervention phase. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired-sample t-tests, repeated-measures ANOVA, and thematic analysis. The quantitative results showed significant improvements in burnout, stress, anger, and leadership skills among the school leaders who participated in the intervention program. The qualitative findings revealed four main themes: increased self-awareness and emotional regulation, improved communication and conflict resolution skills, enhanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, and improved work-life balance and well-being. The study suggests that anger and stress management interventions can be effective in improving school leaders' well-being and leadership skills. These findings have practical implications for educational institutions and policymakers to implement anger and stress management interventions to support the well-being of school leaders and improve the quality of education

Abstract

Solid waste when discarded to the environment causes serious environmental problems. The kinetic study of microbial growth in anaerobic digestion process is process specific, yet, there are limited reported studies with regards to the feedstock’s (banana peel, chicken dung and waste water treatment sludge). The objective of the study is to carry out the kinetic study of microbial growth, and to know the conditions or environment responsible for the degradation of chicken dung, waste water treatment sludge and banana peel for the production of biogas and biofertilizer. The methodology involves the use of serial dilution, pour plating, cell counting for microbial population and Monod parameters were determined. Microsoft excel 2016 was use to carry out regression analysis, results shows that the maximum, growth rate (????????????????) estimated from the basic Monod equation, of microorganism, was 0.098 hr-1 and the half saturation constant, (????????), 1.2 ×108 mg/l. This pin point the availability of substrate for the survival of microorganisms

Abstract

This research examines the growth of SAMOTA tourism and the increase in income of small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The author of this study used a qualitative descriptive data analysis method primarily to collect information about the tourist attractions used as research locations. Qualitative research is based on interpretive philosophy or postpositivism and is used to conduct research in natural conditions, where the researcher acts as the primary tool. The data is usually qualitative because it combines observation, interviews, and triangulated documentation. Data is analyzed inductively or qualitatively, and the results are the result of research. The research results show that tourism in the Samota region is experiencing development. The area on Sumbawa Island called SAMOTA has been designated a Biosphere Reserve by the UN and UNESCO. The tourism development process increases the number of visitors to the SAMOTA tourist area. That can increase income and encourage people to build new MSMEs to meet increasing visitor demand. Developments in the SAMOTA tourist area have tremendously impacted the MSME sector. Samota's tourism development helps make more money. MSME players are happy with the many events in Sumbawa because they benefit from them

Abstract

A study was conducted from April 30, 2023 to June 29, 2023 at the Sukanadi Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Pejarakan Village, Gerokgak Subdistrict, Buleleng Regency, which aimed to determine the performance of Balinese/local pigs treated with traditional feed and fermented feed. This study will test the treatment of feed without fermentation (traditional = T) with fermented feed (F). The feed ingredients used are 70% banana stalks, 20% lamtoro leaves and 10% complete feed (mixture of 25% rice bran, 50% corn flour and 25% concentrate). Each treatment used 5 Balinese/local pigs of weaning age ± 2 months with a weight range of 8-10 kg. The variables observed were initial body weight, body weight gain, ration consumption, final body weight, and ration conversion. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed by t-test (paired test) according to Steel and Torrie (1991). Based on the results of the study, it was found that female Balinese/local pigs given fermented feed showed better performance than those given traditional feed. Thus it can be concluded that fermented feed can be applied by the community because it is more effective and efficient with feed formulations consisting of 70% banana stems, 20% lamtoro leaves, and 10% complete feed

Abstract

Globally, stunting has reached 149.2 million. Exclusive breastfeeding can protect children from stunting. Consuming soybeans can increase breast milk production, which contains isoflavone. Moreover, dates are one of the natural galactagogues. The study analyzed the effect of giving soy date milk on breast milk production in postpartum at Loa Kulu Health Center in 2023th. The research method is a quasi-experiment with a pre-post-test control group. Sampling uses purposive sampling. Based on the independent sample t-test used for control and experimental groups, we obtained a Pvalue 0.000 (Pvalue < α) that can be concluded that date soy milk affects breast milk production in postpartum at Loa Kulu Health Care Center in 2023. Isoflavones in soy milk will bind with α-estrogen receptors. Estradiol is the largest regulator for prolactin secretion, which plays a role in breast milk. Dates have a phytoestrogen, which exerts pressure on dopamine while stimulating the secretion of oxytocin and releasing breast milk. Producing date soy milk can be an economical alternative to increase milk production

Abstract

Radiographers are one of the frontlines of covid 19 patient services, including professions affected by the covid 19 pandemic. This study was conducted to prove the effect of Work Engagement (WE), Job  Satisfaction (JS), Quality of Work Life (QWL) and Job Stress (JSt) and on radiographers Turnover intention (TI)  during the Covid 19 pandemic, using an online survey of Indonesian radiographers, collected 243 respondents and used the SEM-Amos analysis technique version 24 in its hypothesis test. The results of the analysis prove that  Work Engagement and Job Satisfaction  have a negative  effect on Turnover Intention, while Quality of Work Life does not affect  Turnover Intention and Job Stress has a significant positive effect on  Turnover Intention. Of the four factors, work stress is the most influential factor in the turnover intention of  a radiographer during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research findings found that  radiographers' turnover intention is greatly influenced by job stress, and this is very beneficial for hospital managers in maintaining their radiographers, especially during this pandemic
