Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial motivation, dan entrepreneurial leadership terhadap business performance serta entrepreneurial innovative behavior, termasuk peran mediasi motivation dan innovative behavior. Populasi penelitian adalah pemilik UMKM di Kota Semarang, dengan sampel 244 responden yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis menggunakan structural equation modelling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy tidak berpengaruh pada business performance, tetapi berpengaruh positif pada motivation. Motivation dan innovative behavior berpengaruh positif pada business performance. Entrepreneurial leadership tidak berpengaruh pada business performance, namun berpengaruh positif pada innovative behavior. Motivation dan innovative behavior terbukti sebagai variabel mediasi.

Abstract

Performance is related to improving the quality of work, to improve the quality of work must touch three aspects, namely: ability, enthusiasm, and dedication. Those with high performance, will always be passionate or eager to work. Performance achievement itself is influenced by many factors including intrinsic motivation, extrinsic and organizational culture. Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is a driver of morale which will ultimately lead to employee performance. Work motivation which is very influential on the performance of an employee can certainly be realized because of the company's organizational culture that is able to generate (moderate) the motivation of the employee both intrinsically and extrinsically. This research is an explanatory research. The number of samples in the study was 87 people. The sampling technique used stratified proportional random sampling. This study uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study indicate that organizational culture is able to moderate the influence of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation on employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of information technology and competence on the performance of educational personnel with achievement motivation as an intervening factor. The problem behind this study is to analyze the responsiveness aspect or the quick response of educational personnel (tendik) at Semarang University who have a lower job satisfaction assessment ratio compared to other aspects. This indicates that the performance of Educational Personnel at Semarang University in handling lecturer and student problems still needs to be improved and encourages Educational Personnel to make more use of information technology at Semarang University and improve competence in accordance with their respective main tasks through achievement motivation so that it can affect the performance of Educational Personnel. This research is a quantitative research with an explanatory approach. It utilizes primary data, obtained directly from the research subjects through questionnaires. The study was conducted at the University of Semarang, with a sample of 72 education personnel using proportional area sampling and proportional stratified random sampling. The analysis method used was the three-box method and PLS-SEM. The results of the analysis prove that competence has a positive effect on the performance of educational staff, the use of information technology does not have a positive effect on the performance of educational staff, competence has a positive effect on achievement motivation, the use of information technology has a positive effect on achievement motivation, achievement motivation has a positive effect on the performance of educational staff and achievement motivation can mediate the influence of competence and the use of information technology on the performance of educational staff.

Abstract

Employee performance is a strategic factor for the sustainability and development of an organization. This study aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics, leadership, and work discipline on employee performance with the work environment as a moderating variable at the University of Semarang (USM). The underlying problem of this study is the suboptimal completion of organizational activities on time, which impacts overall performance. The study population consisted of 257 USM employees, with a sample of 72 employees selected through a purposive sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, t-test, coefficient of determination, and path analysis. The results showed that individual characteristics, leadership, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, the work environment was proven to act as a moderating variable that strengthens the influence of individual characteristics, leadership, and work discipline on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a conducive work environment to support continuous improvement of employee performance at the University of Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors influencing employee performance at CV Berkah Catering, a catering company in Semarang, Indonesia. The study analyzes the role of Islamic leadership, employee welfare, training, internal communication, and compensation and incentives in improving employee performance. The results indicate that leadership based on Islamic values emphasizing trustworthiness, justice, and ihsan has a positive impact on employee motivation and engagement. Furthermore, employee well-being, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual aspects, contributes to increased productivity and job satisfaction. More comprehensive training, more efficient internal communication, and a fair compensation system can improve team dynamics and enhance company performance. The study concludes that implementing Islamic principles in employee management can sustainably improve performance in the catering sector.
