Abstract

The potential for durian culinary tourism in Bukit Menoreh, Kokap District, Kulon Progo Regency. But in its development it still has many obstacles, both internal and external constraints. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of feasibility of developing culinary tourism. The research method used is a descriptive research method. The population and research sample are individuals who are in institutions related to the development of the Kokap sub-district. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling and quota sampling by taking 1 key informant from each developer agency. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The conclusion from this study is that Kokap District has the potential to be developed as an educational tourism object and the constraints experienced by its development can be minimized.

Abstract

Science is one of the main subjects that must be taught in schools. Elementary school students think science learning materials are difficult, boring, and even scary. Media is needed to connect material with real student activities. So the researchers analyzed contextual-based multimedia. This research is a descriptive study with a literature review and field observations. The results showed that the fifth grade teachers at SDN 250 Sinar Gading II used multimedia presentations and effectively increased student learning outcomes with an average score of 73 and 88. The results showed that multimedia was effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Cervical spondyloarthrosis is a condition where there are degenerative changes in the intervertebral joints of the spine and discs which result in degenerative changes in the synovial joints. Manual traction is a technique of holding the cervical segment manually and by pulling the body's resistance to increase the distance between the joints in the cervical segment and provide stimulus to the mechanoreceptors. This study aims to see the effect of pre and post on manual traction in cervical spondyloarthrosis patients. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post test design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method with a sample of 10 people with neck pain. Data analysis techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The research instrument used was a visual analogue scale. Wilcoxon test results before and after treatment showed p <0.05. The results show that there is an effect of reducing pain by manual traction on cervical spondyloarthrosis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of pedagogical competence and work motivation on job satisfaction of high school teachers in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau. This study uses a survey method, while the type of research is correlational research. This research technique was conducted to analyze the effect of two independent variables, namely pedagogic competence (X1), work motivation (X2), on one dependent variable, namely teacher job satisfaction (Y). The results showed: 1) Pedagogical competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of high school teachers in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency; 2) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher job satisfaction; 3) Pedagogic competence and work motivation together have a positive and significant impact on teacher job satisfaction.

Abstract

In the modern era, storytelling is rarely done. A survey conducted by Disney in England proved that only a third of parents in England still have time to read fairy tales. Even though there are many benefits from storytelling, from developing imagination to honing communication skills. This research uses library research which includes: systematic identification, analysis of documents containing information related to the study problem. The technique used is content analysis or content review. The results of the study show that children's companions must pay attention to reading materials according to the age range as an effort to optimize children's communication skills: 1) Children aged 0-2 years, choose fairy tales about real objects; 2) Children aged 2-4 years choose fairy tales by role playing; 3) Children aged 4-7 years can be introduced to more complex fairy tales.
