Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial ratios of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk during the period 2015 to 2021 to see the company's performance. This study uses secondary data in the form of financial reports. The analytical tool used in this study is to use liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, activity ratios, profitability ratios, and market price ratios. The results of the calculation of the liquidity ratio which consists of the quick ratio and cash ratio are considered not good, while the current ratio is considered quite good. The solvency ratio consisting of the debt to asset ratio is considered quite good, and the debt to equity ratio is considered not good. The activity ratio, which consists of total asset turnover ratio and fixed asset turnover ratio, is considered unfavorable. For the profitability ratio which consists of the ratio of return on assets, and the ratio of return on equity, and the ratio of net income is considered not good. And the market to book ratio is considered quite good.

Abstract

General elections are very important to maintain people's sovereignty and Indonesian democracy. A good election must pay attention to the system and consider the advantages and disadvantages of the system used and find solutions to any deficiencies of the system used. This is because the system used by Indonesia is a country that uses a proportional election system. The proportional election system has been used in Indonesia since 1955. There are two forms of the proportional system that have been used in Indonesia, namely the closed proportional system and the open proportional system. The system currently used is an open proportional system. However, in 2019 the open proportional system caused many problems to occur. Therefore, in this study, researchers analyzed plans for closed proportional implementation in the 2024 election. This research uses a qualitative method, with a literature study approach. From this study, the researchers concluded that elections in Indonesia in 2024 must be based on the evaluation results of several past elections. Starting from constitutional orders, democracy, election budget, fraud, political costs, and human rights. There are fears that the current system will make people's political intelligence and democracy worse off. An open proportional system must be repaired internally in the recruitment of people's representatives. This can be the answer to the weaknesses of an open operational system.

Abstract

In the present context, Research in English Studies has been modified and transformed with the application of digital tools and the latest developed innovative research methods. On the other hand, the postmodern philosophical worldview questioned the reliability of the data, arguments in the research, and more precisely in the findings of the whole research project (Denzin & Lincoln, 2018). In addition, the production of knowledge has been controlled by establishing various limitations and imperatives in research and publication. In such a situation, this interview was conducted with Gabriele Griffin via email for exploring the latest development in the field of research in English Studies particularly focusing on research and publication. The main objective of this interview is to unveil the contemporary research trends more importantly in the field of English Studies and to derive some of the historical development in the field of research. This interview has great significance by providing the fresh idea to the readers regarding the role of theory, production, and dissemination of knowledge

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the dominant character of department heads at PT BTU, who so far have appointed departmental leaders who prefer criteria of general technical competence, experience and soft skills such as communication skills, integrity, creativity, etc. According to Belbin, a person's character can be divided into 3 groups, namely the Thinking Oriented group consisting of Plant (PL), Monitor Evaluator (ME) and Specialist (SP). The Action Oriented group consists of Sharper (SH), Implementer (IMP) and Completer Finisher (CF). Finally, the People Oriented group consists of Team Workers (TW), Resource Investigators (RI) and Coordinators (C). From the research results for the 15 Departments at PT BTU, it was found that 73% of the leaders were People Oriented, and 27% were Action Oriented, and no Thinking Oriented dominant leaders. In order for the team in the department to further improve their performance, it is better if the deficiencies or weaknesses in one of the characters or orientations can be filled by staff who stand out in characters that the leader does not have.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Massive MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) in the 5G network and its implementation strategy in Indonesia. The methodology used includes literature study, field data analysis, and simulation. This study found that Massive MIMO can increase the capacity, speed, and spectrum efficiency of 5G networks. Implementation of this technology in Indonesia requires a strategy that includes optimizing infrastructure, regulation, and cooperation between stakeholders. The research results show that the implementation of Massive MIMO in the 5G network in Indonesia will provide significant benefits for users and the telecommunication industry. The conclusion drawn is that Massive MIMO is a key technology in developing 5G networks in Indonesia and needs full support from the government, operators, and related industries.

Abstract

Some physical materials are microscopic, atomistic or abstract in nature which are difficult to observe directly. Although observations can be made experimentally, the high cost of laboratories and materials in experiments is an obstacle to conducting tests in experiments. This can hamper the teaching and learning process, especially in basic physics courses. The development of computerization has touched the learning environment. Computer simulations have been able to visualize the actual state of the scientific phenomenon. This can be a solution to the problem. The purpose of this paper is to compare the test results using PhET (Physics Education Technology) simulations with theoretical calculations on the photoelectric effect on the work function of metals. The results obtained by the wavelength simulation (λ) for the work function of Sodium 547 nm, Zenc 430.8 nm, Copper 264 nm and 195 nm with the highest and lowest difference between theory and simulation tests on sodium material are 1.39% while for Zenc it was 0.03%.
