Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the motivational values in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's poetry. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Hierarchy theory is used to discuss and analyze motivation in these poems. The Miles and Hubermann method was used for techniques and data collection in this research. In this research, the author found 5 motivational values in Johann Wolfgang's poetry, each of which has its own characteristics. These motivational values consist of basic or physiological needs (6 Lyrics), the need for security (12 Lyrics), social needs (5 Lyrics), the need to gain appreciation (11 Lyrics), and the need to actualize oneself (14 Lyrics).

Abstract

One of the nutritional problems of children in Indonesia is stunting. Fulfillment of nutrition in the first 1,000 days of life is related to stunting. WHO recommends breastfeeding and breastfeeding as a method of feeding babies to achieve optimal growth and development. This descriptive study aims to provide an overview of the feeding practices of stunted and non-stunting toddlers as seen in the feeding history included in the Toddler Feeding Area Chart from 0-6 months of age. This research found that giving breast milk alone to stunted toddlers (52.17%) was lower than non-stunting toddlers (66.67%), and the most common feeding pattern for stunted toddlers was formula milk.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop E-module based learning media for A1 level reading literacy. This research was conducted in the library of the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Medan State University. In this research, creation research using Richey and Klein's theory is used. Among them are: (1) Planning stage, (2) Creation stage, (3) Evaluation stage. This research data consists of words, sentences and images on the topic "Hello!, Friends, Colleagues and Me and Off on holiday". The data source for this research comes from the book Studio Netzwerk A1 (Stefanie Dengler, Paul Rusch, Helen Schmitz and Tanja Sieber, 2012). The results of this research are learning media in the form of learning module applications uploaded to the Play Store. This application was created with the help of web-codular and validated by media experts and received an assessment of 85 (good) and a material expert assessment of 90 (very good).

Abstract

This study investigates pronunciation challenges among English major -students at National Institute of Education, focusing on segmental and supra-segmental pronunciation issues, contributing factors, and potential remediation strategies. The study employed qualitative approach utilizing research apparatuses adjusted from previous studies. Additionally, ten teacher trainees with at least six years of English language learning background consented to participate in this study, while four lecturers were also incorporated. The findings were identified primarily with labiodental, dental, velar, alveolar, and palatal consonants, and with the monophthong sounds /i:/ and /ɒ/, and diphthongs /eɪ/ and /ɪə/. Factors influencing pronunciation proficiency include inadequate qualified teachers, insufficiently structured language programs, first language interference, and limited access to learning resources, alongside motivational and environmental factors, age, and beliefs. Recommendations for improvement emphasize integrating technology and social media for accessing pronunciation tutorials, extending instructional hours, and encouraging regular English-speaking practices.

Abstract

Implementation of responsibility accounting is a system to see the responsibilities of each organizational unit based on accountability reports. The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of responsibility accounting at the cost center at Perumda Air Minum Ake Mayora, Tidore Islands City. The analytical method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach using data from interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that in the implementation of responsibility accounting there are still elements that are not appropriate, namely the classification of controlled and uncontrolled costs has not been made, budget preparation has not been separated according to each section and there is no separation of controlled and uncontrolled costs.

Abstract

The farmers' group is a crucial point in implementing and translating the concept of farmers' rights into policies, strategies, and viable programs as a cohesive unit and as a platform for the transformation and development of the agricultural sector. A farmers' group is always formed with the aim of meeting various farmers' needs and serving as a means to address farmers' issues. The agricultural sector remains the primary source of income for the majority of the farming community, so agricultural development through farmers' groups continues to be carried out to achieve the welfare of farmers. The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of the formation of the youth farmers' group on the welfare of its members in the village of Pohan Julu, Siborongborong sub-district, North Tapanuli district. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the formation of the youth farmers' group has had an impact on the improvement of the welfare of its members. This is based on eight welfare indicators issued by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), namely education, housing, income, consumption and social patterns, which have seen improvements, but the health and population status of group members have not changed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how service quality and customer value perceptions influence purchasing decisions of traders at Pasar Kuto Ilir Timur II Palembang. The research method used is a quantitative method which is carried out through data collection, questionnaires, and field observations. The population of this study were traders and buyers in the kuto market and the sample in this study was 133 respondents. This study uses primary data derived from questionnaires with a Likert scale which are processed statistically through the SPSS version 25 program. Based on the research that has been done, the conclusion is that the variable service quality and perceived customer value are closely related to purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the results of the T hypothesis test which proves that there is an influence between service quality and customer value perceptions on purchasing decisions have been accepted because they have a Tcount score of 4,151 > Ttable 1.978 and a tcount of 4,917 > Ttable 1.978. Then the calculation of the coefficient of determination is 59.6%. The advice given is that considering the quality of service affects purchasing decisions, traders should continue to improve service quality by keeping the meat and fish vegetables sold clean, working well and fast and friendly in providing services so that consumers feel satisfied and their needs are fulfilled when shopping at Kuto Palembang Market.

Abstract

The problem is that law enforcement, between advocates, prosecutors, judges, and police often does not encounter a form of justice because of improper dialectic or relational patterns. This study uses a dialectic of communication and an Islamic perspective, while the method takes case studies through interviews and field observations.  The results showed dialectically communication through elements of totality, movement, contradiction, and praxis of law enforcers: advocates, judges, prosecutors, and and these Muslim police officers seek to apply the teachings of Islam in upholding justice for society. Because with Islam, the dialectic of communication in law enforcement directly and indirectly they feel often creates good and conducive relations in the courtroom, although contradictions and controversies often occur. The implications of the research will contribute to communication science, law, and court practice in Indonesia.
